Chapter 196 - 190 - Counter

"Oh, I don't think they were injured from that." Shallot said to himself looking at the cracked ground that the other person that took Azure with him.

Shallot dashed toward the hole in the wall he made throwing Azure.

"I was expecting for him to get knocked out from that. I wasn't expecting for them to use the momentum to break the wall and escape." Shallot said dashing toward the hole.

Shallot dashed forward speeding up having gone past the hole. After he passed the hole the building started to shake. It started a couple of seconds after he went through.

'They must have had something rigid in that short time but it can't keep up with high-speed movement.' Shallot thought to himself.

Shallot followed the trace of ki coming from Azure.

'Seems that they also don't know how to hide their ki. Since they haven't turned around I'm guessing that they can't sense ki either and only know how to use it. That makes this a lot easier.' Shallot thought while following them.

He wanted to see where they would go. If he could follow them back to their group he could get all of them in one fell swoop.

Shallot wanted to make sure that the people of the city could be returned to normal immediately. He wasn't sure if the person that was responsible was the person that he blasted earlier.

If it was then he could always keep track of him since he was the one that had a higher amount of ki than the average hunter. Shallot followed them until they made it to another building.

Shallot sensed inside the building that they went inside and saw that they were gathering around. Shallot crashed through the ceiling of the building dropping in the middle of them.

The group inside saw that someone dropped inside and the person carrying Azure looked back. They were trying to figure out how they knew that they came here.

"Look what I found. A group of trouble makers. Shallot said while floating in the air.

"Kill him!!!" The group of them yelled out.

Shallot lifted his hand in front of himself.

Before they could even blink they were erased all except one. The one that grabbed the person from before.

"Oh? That's surprising!" Shallot said looking at the person who looked so plain but managed to survive.

The plain person looked around seeing that everyone else was dead.

"I was sent here to complete my mission but we had to get bad luck and have you come back quicker than we thought. How did you make it back so quickly? From our information, it took you 30 minutes to get to where the ship was attacked, and then you spent 2 hours heading there. After that, you spent 30 minutes walking around which means we should have had an hour before you could get back." The person started to ramble on.

"Simple really. I flew back once I got a notification saying that my place was being attacked. I always hate it when roaches start to infest my house and I'm not sure where they're coming from." Shallot said while looking at the person trying to figure out how they survived his last blast.

The person didn't seem that impressive so maybe it had something to do with their semblance. He hadn't come across a semblance that can negate damage before. He has seen one that gives a damage booster the more damage they took but not where they were completely unaffected.

Shallot disappeared from the person's vision and he was sent flying into the wall. Shallot had blitzed them and sent a kick at their head with enough force to completely crush it.

The person stood up with a bored look on their face.

"Such a barbaric person. Instead of talking you attack me." The person said while dusting themselves off while standing up.

'Guess I need to find what his limits are' Shallot thought to himself.

"I should introduce myself as we will most likely see each other again." The person said.

"I don't think that you are going anywhere. Everyone else is dead from your group and I'm sure that you can't outrun me." Shallot said while launching at him ready to attack again.

Shallot sent a knee at the person aiming at the temple. Shallot thought that if he is capable of shaking their head quick enough, he could shift their brain and have it crash against the inside of his skull. It would stun him for a moment.

When Shallot made contact he knew that it was a failed attempt as the person flew off again into the wall.

"This won't work. You know that don't you? I should introduce myself as I would have continued before I was rudely interrupted. My name is Bob Evans." The person said.

Shallot looked at the person not believing them.

'Bob Evens... that's really generic.' Shallot thought to himself.

Shallot thought that if strikes didn't work then maybe choking him out would work.

When the elbow connected to his face Shallot felt his aura shatter immediately. He could feel his nose being pushed in. Shallot moved his head to the side but wasn't expecting the elbow strike to be so fast.

The elbow sunk into his cheek and he could feel the bone breaking. Shallot was sent flying back into a wall.

Shallot had a surprised look on his face not expecting to be hit let alone taking damage.

A smile spread on Shallot's face when he rubbed the side of his face. Shallot stood up from the dust and Bob could see that his attack did damage to Shallot.

"You're not the first person that I've had to deal with that is as fast as you are. Although they couldn't keep going that fast I have adapted to it. I know that my weakness is being grabbed so I just have to make sure that you can't grab me." Bob explained.

'Why is he explaining this to me? I would never explain my abilities to someone. That's stupid. Oh well, more information for me to work with.' Shallot thought to himself while readying himself.

He wasn't sure if the person could also move as fast as he could so taking precautions would do for now.
