Chapter 4 - 4 - Menagerie

Shallot was laying on the ground feeling that that was the most strenuous thing he had down in his entire life.

Shallot: 'The Grimm was too durable for my liking but from my memories, I got from this body is that my power level should be at 40. That's pretty low for a Saiyan but beggars can't be choosers. The big guy above me just called the Grimm a Beowolf which should have been the weakest of the Grimm of the show. If that's the weakest I need to get stronger.

I remember a series of creatures called Grimm specifically a Beowolf. I think in the show made by Monty Oum ... rest his soul. I had only watched the first two seasons and haven't watched it in some years so the details are a little fuzzy. I had always enjoyed watching the guys from rooster teeth and their podcast and there red vs blue show.'

Shallot tried to turn his body or at most sit up so he could see who helped him. If it wasn't for his armor he had on those attacks from the Grimm could have been a lot worse. His armor was durable and didn't have the claw reach his body completely but it did leave heavy scratch marks on his armor in the shape of the claw.

Shallot: "Thank you for helping me deal with that Grimm. I didn't expect it to be so durable. Can I know who you are sir?"

A tall, muscular man with black hair, a thick beard and yellow eyes. For his top, he wears an open dark-violet coat with white fur trim, exposing his hairy ċhėst. Over his beige pants is a matching sash that wraps around his waist and is secured with a large, silver metal buckle.

On the shoulder of his coat is a silver metal spaulder, which through a pair of curved strips across the ċhėst attaches as a clasp on the opposite front panel of the coat. The white toes of his black leather boots have a shape reminiscent of paws with claws at the tips.

His physique is in general quite hairy, as what little can be seen of his bȧrė arms and the backs of his wrists are shown to be covered in thick, black fur. He also possesses protractible panther claws at his fingertips.

???: My name is Ghira Belladonna and I'm the leader of the white fang. We are going to take you back to Menagerie so we can patch you up there."

Ghira turned around and told one of the other members to carry Shallot back to the city.

After being carried for 8 minutes. Shallot and everyone made it to the city. The sound of seagulls and the water waves could be heard. Ship horns in the distance blaring letting people know that the had either just arrived or setting off. The seawater smell drifted across the town. The bustle of people that showed liveliness.

Ghira looked at Shallot with a confused look before telling him.

Ghira: "Who is Sun Wukong? Was he someone that was with you? We came this way when one of the guards had said that they could see someone fighting a Grimm fighting in the distance from atop the wall.

They said that it seemed like you were talking to someone in front of you but no one was there."

Shallot was surprised by this but wasn't completely sure if what he saw was real.

Shallot: 'It could have just been the Grimm causing mind tricks or maybe I was seeing something I wanted to so I could adjust in a place I've never been here and I'm sure I'm no longer in the Dragon Ball universe.'

Shallot nodded his head at Ghira and absorbed as much information as he could about the place before Ghira turned to him with a questioning look before asking.

Ghira: "How can a child so small like you deal with Grimm without being killed. Grimm aren't weak or fragile. Even grown men and women would be killed if they aren't trained properly and have combat experience.

As Ghira mentioned this the others that were walking beside him and the one carrying Shallot stopped to look at him for an answer not completely sure if they should bring the child further into the town.

Shallot was thinking of a way so he doesn't seem threatening since right now he was utterly exhausted and if they could help him recover he knows that he would at least get a zenkai. He needs to get stronger as quickly as he can but knows that even Goku who was a combat genius reached a power level of 260 when he was only 12.

Shallot: "I come from a clan of warriors who send out their children to become stronger after they become three years old. In my clan, if you are too weak you will be seen as nothing more than a burden. My older brother who is only 2 years older than me would have easily handled the situation back there without a scratch.

My clan only values strength, and if you aren't capable enough, you will be seen as a failure. I had learned to talk at one year old, run at two years old, and fight at three years old. The airship I was on crashed and I ended up in that forest."

Ghira and the rest listened to him but Ghira could tell that some things were off when he mentioned about there clan, but let it be. The child had told him pretty much everything he wanted to know but was interested in the boys' "clan".

Ghira had originally jumped in to save the boy himself because he seemed defenseless and was reminded of his daughter who was only 4 years old about to turn 5 in a week.

Ghira: "So kid, what are you going to do here?"

Ghira asked him while continuing walking forward causing the others to keep walking.

Shallot: "I just want to find a place that can teach me how to catch some food so I can survive for know. Once I get older I'll go and look for a job so I can supply for myself."

Shallot told Ghira since he figured he was in the world of Remnant and how he needed to be strong to survive since he knows that this world is crawling with Grimm. He wasn't sure about what type of threats could be here.

He was sure that if he could even become as strong as Goku was in the beginning in the Saiyan saga nothing should be able to go against him. He wouldn't stop training even after then though since he wasn't exactly sure what this world was capable of.

Ghira: "Well kid if you need to stay somewhere you can stay in a guest room where I live since I'm the leader here of this group. As there captain, I can't go force them to take care of someone else when I can do it."

Ghira: "So kid what's your name you never told me."

Ghira questioned him since he heard about everything else from him but still wasn't told his name even when he introduced himself.

Shallot: "My name is Shallot, Mr. Belladona. If it's not a lot of trouble but where do you live."

Shallot asked since he didn't know much about him. The farthest he gets in the show is the end of season 2 but he did here that Beacon fell during the third season.

Shallot: 'Hold on, Ghira Belladonna? Isn't Blakes last name Belladonna. Maybe they are family.

Ghira pointed down the street towards the largest building there that had some space from the rest of the buildings.

Shallot tried to head and could bȧrėly see the building but could tell that Mr. Belladonna must be someone very important since he lives in such a big house.

_ _ _ _ _ _

Ghira had carried Shallot back to his house while asking him some more things while Shallot tried to word things as the best as he can so he doesn't stand out much.

Ghira: "So ... what do you think of the Faunus here?"

Ghira asked Shallot after running out of things to question him about where he came from and what's it like even though he wasn't expecting much from a kid that didn't appear any older than his daughter.

Shallot would just speak about a small number of things but not much since he should be a small child who shouldn't know much so he would play that role to his advantage.

Ghira made it to his front door before opening it before yelling out.

Ghira: "KALI I'M BACK AND WE HAVE A GUEST! Oh right ... kid welcome to Menagerie.
