Chapter 70 - Reincarnations And Reincarnates(2)

In the sky above this world, there are said to be Supreme beings living. Is it just a Legend or is it really true? Is it heaven there or is it just a higher plane? The word 'heaven' itself is a vast topic to explore but if heaven means people fighting in factions for each other's throat to conquer another portion of 'Heaven' and they fight to gain more power as the weaker races perish amidst the chaos, then yes, the Higher Realm is 'Heaven'.

Honestly, that doesn't really sound any different from someone's life on Visca, does it? If you think that then you are grandly mistaken, my friend. They are far more prideful and ruthless than they seem. They all have a God complex in front of the other races and they take their own race as superior to other races. Such is the truth of the so called 'Heaven'.

After fighting for God knows how long they came to a conclusion that it can be settled in a more 'peaceful' way, where they don't need to fight at all. It is rather obvious that the meteor they chose to fight this time with was the same lower races they looked down at. They created a system of Champions. It was but a simple solution, they have to choose a champion and those champions will be called from one world and teleported or transported to another world. But the miscalculation they made was in the selection of candidates.

Some candidates had a peaceful life, others just wanted to die. Some were on an odorous journey to save their world. Now, what would you think will happen when you force transport someone like that against his wishes. To let him know that all the hard work he had done to save his world ended up being washed away by some God's game? To let him know that his world can't be saved anymore and it is his honour to serve the so called 'Gods'? Obviously, he will retaliate. And so did that happen too yet only ashes remained in the end.

After another 10000s of years or so the 'Gods' improved slowly but surely. Do you know what they changed after all these years? Haha..you will be surprised if I tell you. What they did was that they stopped telling the people about why they were sent here. They sent people without any concern, they didn't explain why or how. They just did...poof...and you are here. Then they will leave you in this world or maybe the other ones to survive and reach back to them. Slowly get stronger using the knowledge that is special to you. Becoming the best of the best, so that they will give a choice once you reach them. A choice to win and fight for them and in return, they will send you back to your old world. Or else you can just live in this world.

But do you think they are merciful enough to let you live after you have ashamed them? NO! They will trap you, and force you to go back to them, beg to them. So that you can fight for them and in return you will be given what they wanted you to want.

Morpheus, in this world these people, they weren't here from the beginning. Originally this world belonged to an Ancient Race, Gizem. Some say that Gizems looked like elves and humans others say they were small like fairies. The only records are those of its existence in rocks and other fossils, everything else has been washed away with time. The Gods, then they set their sights on this world to rule and make their playground. Slowly n slowly they bought people from all other worlds here. Transmigrators had their powers with them but no knowledge of this world. Reincarnators had their powers reset from the beginning but also new powers to use.

Regressors had knowledge of the future. People with Systems, people with a different type of energy in them, people with gifts like extra mana or aura and people with an extraordinary power that defies law and nature. In this world, you will find all types of people you can think of.

These people slowly joined together and fought for a piece of land against the Gizem. Gizem, Gizem being the natural ruler of this land, would have won fairly and easily but then the 'Gods' once again interfered. They gave special powers to these already special people. In the end, after centuries of war, the result was the total annihilation of Gizems. The other races however used too much of their power so they could not be of any use for the Gods. The Gods somehow miraculously did not kill them and let them live in this world. Such was the start of the new civilisation of this world.

Since there are so many different people in this world, if there had been no rules to follow, half the races existing today would have completely vanished from the face of this planet. The rules are simple but absolute.

1. Do not get in the eyes of any God.

2. Do not tell anyone about the way you came into this world.

3. Stay low key and know your own place.

4. Do not cause any changes to this world's momentum.

The first rule is made for people especially like us. We are failed candidates who have chosen to live freely in this world. We do not seek to fight the Gods but a place for our races to live peacefully and also to nurture strong ones to help us in doing so.

The second rule is so that strong people do not end up seeking others from their own world. If somehow, anyone ends up reaching to his lover and starts a life here because he has no reason to fight, now that won't be a good thing for the Gods, would it? Or maybe someone who kills other people's reincarnators in order to have revenge on the 'Gods'? There are people in this world who had certainly done that. We call them Apostle Hunters. Nobody knows who they are or where they are, it is just that they are strong and we should be careful of them.

The third one is similar to the second one. If you get too strong, people will notice you and then you will end up being targeted by unwanted enemies. Simple as that.

The last one is kinda important. You see, once there was a man who was capable of joining all the races at once. He was charismatic, strong, brave, smart and wise. He had all the qualities necessary to rule over this world. Do you know what happened to him? Obviously, you don't, I mean, even I don't know what happened to him. Literally, he was just...gone. Like that. If I had a hunch then it must be the Gods' doing but that's only a hunch in the end.

That's all about this world I can pass on to you. It's not that I trust you or anything but I just didn't want any ripples to happen around my Kingdom right now. You probably don't know but the next selection of one of God's Champions is going to happen soon.

Well, not that soon but in 5years from now on. Whatever you do Morpheus, don't end up involving my Kingdom in this.. I am the type who avoids fighting but if your shenanigans ends up even as much as scratching my Kingdom, I'll kill you in the most brutal way possible.
