Chapter 104 - Progress

In the past few days, the people who had visited Elven Town only knows three or five words. These people gave them the first batch of Holy Artifacts.

Because of this, the Elves can't really make a proper reception or even invite those people in their town.

As soon as they receive the Artifacts, these people would leave immediately.

Nevertheless, now that Cyril is here, they can finally have a proper conversation and discuss their future plans.

"It's good that there are another four humans who wanted to learn our language… Lucien, Arein, Felix, Frank, and Adrian… The five of you can visit our small town every day." Druindar said with a smile.

When the five specialists heard this, they didn't immediately react since they are trying to decipher his words.

They only understood a part of it after all.

Noticing that they would take time to realize what Druindar just said, Cyril decided to translate it to them making them extremely glad.

"Whoa~ Thank you very much!"

"We will frequent here…"

"Yes… Me too. However, do you know how to make me an elf?"

"Right, I want to become an elf? Can you help me change my race?"

Cyril gaped as soon as he heard their shameless request. Nevertheless, he decided to wait for Druindar's reply since he's also curious about it.

"Haha! You guys wanted to become like us? I don't blame you guys…"

Druindar heartily laughed after hearing their words. Since they wanted to be elves, it only shows the superiority of their race.

After calming himself, he added, "Unfortunately, you guys aren't good enough. If you want to try your luck, you have to meet the Elven King which is probably close to impossible at this place... Hehe."

The five immediately felt dejected upon learning that they can't do it here but Cyril was different.

'Elven King? Perhaps I should consider this option instead? Will my life span increase if I change my race to an elf? Or maybe any other race like demon, vampire, or werewolf?'

Cyril didn't think of this before. He had never considered changing race as it feels like he's betraying humanity… He's also thinking of the repercussions if he ever changed his race, he's unlike these five madmen who only want to achieve greatness in Runesmithing.

'Maybe I'll consider this if I really can't find any clues about the Tree of Life in three or four years…' Cyril thought as he kept this information at the back of his mind.

After waiting for five more minutes, the six of them were finally allowed to meet the third princess.

"Princess Ava Elisen Xyrkalyn… It's nice to see you again." Cyril greeted the princess as soon as they've met.

"You too, Cyril. I heard that you guys brought another batch of Artifacts with Holy Attributes.."

"That's true…"

"Well, I guess we have to send more Elemental Scrolls… Or do you guys need an intermediate level Runes Creation Book?" The princess asked.

"Intermediate Level? Not really, princess. We can't even fully learn the books you gave at the elementary level. It will only be a waste to us."

"Ohh… Maybe because of our racial attributes? You humans seem to have awakened an interesting ability allowing you to wield any type of weapons or equipment… However, it probably limits your ability to learn other races' powers as well. I guess the god is fair."

The princess said which truly made a lot of sense.

All the Awakened's power is basically just an ability to wield all kinds of Artifacts according to the level of Aura they possess.

Even if they could learn the specialty of other races, it was only at the most basic level and just a waste of time.

Cyril then allowed the five specialists to have a conversation with the Princess about their future trades.

Soon, they left the town leaving Cyril here.

Well, Cyril was allowed to make his own transactions with the Elves as part of his deal with the director of the Aeson Company.

Previously, Cyril learned that the only ones who know the location of the Tree of Life are the Kings and Queens of the three major races, the Elves, Fairies, and the Dragons.

Aside from this, he learned that the Tree is protected by the Dragons in their Sacred Grounds.

This is all he got from the princess as she was no longer able to provide any more information about the Tree of Life.

"Princess, is it possible for me to meet the Kings and Queen of your race? I know that you already rejected me before, however, this time I came prepared. As long as you allow me to meet them, I will be helping you all to meet other elves in a different Arcane World…"

Cyril said with a determined look.

"What?!"

"Are you telling the truth?"

"How would that be possible?"

Not only the princess but also Commander Druindar and the rest of the officials of the town were shocked as soon as they heard Cyril's words.

"It's possible… Though I can't do it right now, I know of a method to bring you all outside so you can all access an Entrance Crystal where other elves live."

Cyril wasn't lying… The fact that the three Vampire Worlds owned by Saint Torido Clan cracked is already proof of it. However, the problem with his proposal is that it would still take six years for that to happen.

Apparently, after the Vampire Outbreak, something seemed to have changed to the world allowing many magical creatures and intelligent races to live outside.

Though the Association did their best to regulate this, there was no way that they could really control the situation of other Awakened helping magical races to visit Earth.

"This is an interesting offer… However, even if we accept it, we don't really know where the King and Queen are. At most, I have an item here with me but I'm not sure if this would be able to help you."

Princess Ava then took out her necklace and handed it to Cyril.

"Princess! You can't just hand it over to him!"

"That's the Queen's gift, young princess… This—"

The others quickly tried to stop Ava but she remained firm in her decision.

"It's just a necklace. We're already trapped here on the island anyway.. I would rather gamble and bet that this young man here can really help us."
