It is a huge sum for both of them but they know that this is only a one-time thing so they have to be wise on spending the money they've earned. Especially for Myrtle who probably wouldn't earn this much if not for Cyril's help.

Right now, they didn't have to share their profit with the Association and there weren't taxes as well. Aside from that, this exploration is truly just meant for them to earn something. There was no way they could earn this much again in their next Low-Class Arcane World exploration.

After all, there wouldn't be any treasure hunting in their next Arcane World and instead, they would have to consider it as pure exploration, beast hunting, resource hunting, mapping, and studying of the other world…

"Right… Take these two Arcanite Fruits as well… It would be better if you master your Aura Control as quickly as possible."

Cyril said as he gave her the apple-like fruit to Myrtle.

Perhaps, she's already getting drunk from the wine she's sipping from time to time as she just agreed with his decision.

"Thank you then… I will work hard…"

"Good… If you have time, you should also start studying basic array formations and runes… They can help with your Aura Control mastery."

"Really? Is that how we practice our Aura?" Myrtle asked in confusion. She had never heard anything like that before.

The only thing she knows is that wielding compatible Artifacts is the way to enhance an Awakened's control with his or her Aura.

The lady no longer asked a question and only nodded her head.

Myrtle now has money with her so it wouldn't be huge trouble to check out these methods of creating runes and formations.

The two finally separated after deciding to exchange their emails. They decided to contact each other in case they would be exploring an Arcane World.

With his backpack and a small bag in his hands, Cyril decided to return home.

While traveling, he also didn't forget to check the news regarding the recent attack at the nearby Torstein City…

"Two suspects are still on the run, huh…" Cyril muttered as he read the article.

It was indeed noted here that the incident was just a group of small-time Awakened… Apparently, there are pieces of evidence that they used prohibited drugs before they decided to commit arson just for fun…

Well, the Association did their best to make it look like that they didn't encounter an organized attack at all.

Cyril continued checking his phone to find other articles…

If only a single guild is doing this, the people would probably not notice that something is happening.

Cyril thought as he finished reading. He wasn't too focused on the news before as he was too busy with his part-time job… However, now that he's a full-time Arcane Explorer, he realized that he was just too uninformed in his previous life.

Nevertheless, he's quite excited as he's clearly aware of what going to happen this month.

'It's not officially announced yet… However, it should happen soon. Should I contact Vanessa to get me a slot? Or should I ask Valerie first?'

Cyril knows that the Awakened Association should be gathering these beads right now. This is the reason for their large-scale explorations.

They should've discovered a part of the bead's power right now but they know that it is still very dangerous…

'However, I'm not sure if they already made an agreement with the government about this human experimentation… They might get suspicious if already asked for a slot when it should still be a secret…'

Cyril wryly smiled as he thought of another solution.

He decided to just get closer to these officials so once the announcement was made, he could quickly contact them and help him save a slot.

Then, as soon as he was about to turn off his phone, there has been an update about the incident in Torstein City.

One of the two remaining suspects was already captured! Though the last one was still hiding, his identity was already confirmed!

"Cody Jackman. 28 years old. C-Rank Awakened. He was a member of Smiling Robes, a guild that was known for its large-scale gambling business in many cities, until he committed a serious crime... He was now a wanted criminal after killing his fellow Arcane Explorers to steal a precious Artifact. He created a small gang with his fellow criminals and thought of destroying the Association's building in a whim because of his intoxication to prohibited drugs…"

"Well, no wonder I didn't think too much of this before… However, it's actually Cody Jackman?"

Cyril smirked as he recalled this person's name.
