Chapter 68 - Revisit

It was already evening when Cyril managed to return home.

He learned from Britta that large guilds like Reckless Twin Blades, Blood Knights, and Saint Torido Clan are gathering large amounts of Star Garnet Stones and he would earn a lot of money.

These things may not be rare stones in the Arcane World but during massive explorations or when many guilds are doing large-scale explorations at the same time, their supplies would still run out for a while.

'Well, although these stones can only replenish a small amount of an Awakened's Aura… It would still be very useful in crucial times.'

Cyril thought as he finished taking a shower… He felt mentally exhausted after running around the whole day.

'But if remember correctly, there should still be three or five more items that can replenish our Aura… Are they too expensive right now?'

Cyril mused as he decided to check their country's Awakened Marketplace online. Because he now has a license card, he can already purchase items here as well if he wanted to.

Anyway, he checked the Miscellaneous Items category and viewed Aura Stones.

The units used here weren't that reliable at all. After all, the quality of aura would depend on the rank of the Awakened.

It means that the 10 units of Aura from F-Rank Awakened is probably not even 1 unit of an S-Rank.

Nevertheless, in this website, the units are used in reference to the lowest kind of aura stone which is the Broken Aura Stone.

So if Cyril has 100 units of Aura in his body and used the Broken Aura Stone with supposedly 8 units of Aura, as an S-Rank, he wouldn't receive the replenishment of that amount.

This is all because there is no technology that is truly capable of quantifying an Awakened's Aura. Even their Awakened's License Exam, one only needed to know how thick your aura was to pass as an F-Rank or S-Rank.

Due to this, they can only quantify the Aura inside the Aura Stone but its effectiveness with the user would still depend on their bodies.

Cyril refreshed the webpage and sure enough, the previous Available 194 Low-Class Aura Stone and 19 Low-Class Mystic Stone disappeared immediately. It seems that the guilds have someone monitoring the Marketplace and hoarding them as soon as they disappeared.

"I wonder how much are these items in the Black Market…" Cyril mused but he immediately shook his head. He'll just wait for Britta's report.

Anyway, he trusts her completely since he knows her work ethic in the past… or perhaps, on the other timeline.

Then, he decided to look for good weapons. With his money, he should be capable of purchasing a high-quality item that would suit his style.

He wasn't adept with swords or spears in his previous life. However, he's confident with using daggers or short blades aside from his martial arts.

Of course, he still wanted to become a good gunner, this is why he purchased that musket in the first place.

However, there aren't too many firearms in the Arcane World so he needed to have other Artifacts with him.

If he would rate the firearms that could be found in the Arcane World, the lowest would be the Goblin's Musket with such a terrible firing rate.

It would then be followed by the Dwarf's Swivel Gun that has an explosive power but a bit slow firing rate.

Then, the ones that would probably be at the higher ranks would be the Vampire's Silver Gun, Witch Hunter's Gun, and Soul Buster Gun. Cyril wasn't sure what ranks are they since he was only an F-Rank before but he knows that they aren't something he could even touch before.

Of course, someday in the future, there would be crafted guns that could be used inside the Arcane World as well…

One of them would be called a Nightbane Rifle and he can still remember how it was advertised by the Palais Kingdom throughout the whole world.

"I wonder if there are already good guns in the market…"

Cyril said as he checked the list online.

However, as expected, the guns being sold were only the Dwarf's Swivel Gun for 230,000 Ains. It was very expensive.

As for the Goblin's Musket, it wasn't allowed to be sold here because using such unreliable items is too dangerous. The Association wouldn't allow such items to be sold online.

If someone would purchase it, it must be in person to be tested and under the Association's record.

It means that the musket wasn't completely banned yet.

Apparently, out of 10,000 goblin muskets, there should still be 1 or 2 muskets that would work just fine. Someone can also purchase them for the sake of research so it's not that difficult to carry them as long as you have an Awakened License.

In Cyril's plan, once the Old Crafter fixed the Goblin's Musket. He would immediately register it as a safe item by using Ulf's name so he could bring it to any Arcane World without any troubles.

After confirming that there aren't any more interesting Artifacts listed online, he decided to visit the Red Goblin's Arcane World.

Gaarm, the goblin chief, was surprisingly obedient and would always follow his words. He immediately gave bags of precious stones to Cyril and even gave a couple of unknown stones to him.

The two look like a piece of gold nugget and a rough diamond. Cyril wasn't all-knowing so he plans to have it checked outside.

Anyway, Gaarm even prepared a room for him where he could rest if he wanted to.

The room was big and considered luxurious by their standards.

"Haa~ You've really worked hard… Alright, stop your pretense, what's the problem inside the dungeon." Cyril said as he can guess what the goblin is thinking.

Gaarm could only laugh awkwardly as he reported that some humans started blocking the exits of their dungeon!
