Chapter 33 - Deal

"What's this?"

The lady asked after seeing the unusual bottle of liquid. It has a murky color of red and she hadn't seen this kind of tonic or potion before.

"This is a lesser healing potion. It can cure almost all kinds of illnesses in our real world. It can even cure most diseases that people can get after entering the Arcane World…"

Cyril started explaining its effects which dumbfounded the woman.

To begin with, this kind of potion wouldn't need a dealer like her and would be sold easily as long as its authenticity is proven.

In addition, she only has a small shop! There are tons of other trustworthy trading businesses he could choose from.

"That's incredible! I didn't know that this kind of potion exists! If you're telling the truth, then this can be very expensive!"

"Don't be too excited. It's just a lesser potion." Cyril said hinting that he could still have something better.

"Haha! I like that, young man. Anyway, I still have to appraise this. I have an Artifact I can use for that."

'Yes… That's why I'm here… At the moment, you probably have the best Appraising Artifact.' Cyril mused as he watched the lady do her task.

She brought out a magnifying glass Artifact or what she calls her Appraisal Glass.

She took about 30 seconds to look at the item before she nodded at its authenticity.

"This liquid has powerful healing powers… Can you supply more of this?" She asked.

"No… I don't know how to make it but I still have a few bottles with me. I just found them in a low-class Arcane World."

"I see… By the way, you can call me Britta." The lady introduced herself as she extends her hand to the young Awakened.

Right now, this young man might become her business partner so she had to make sure that they get to know each other.

"Britta? I understand… I'm Arial… So, if you have these potions, how would you like to sell them?"

"Hmm… Since you came to me, I bet that you don't want to be known or remain anonymous."

"Correct…"

"That's easy… and since I will also be using my large network of connections, then I guess you wouldn't mind if I take 9% commission."

"Well, I don't mind." Arial smiled. This shocked the lady since she didn't think that he would agree so easily.

Nine percent is quite huge at this kind of deal even if they are in the Black Market. However, since Britta is still full of debt, she needed more money so she could pay them and start with her expansion plan.

Anyway, Cyril has plenty of methods to earn more money once he managed to get his own Entrance. So he didn't really mind if he could help this woman quickly…

After all, this lady would also be his gateway to meet various S-Rank Awakened or future S-Rank… She would also become connected to many organizations that even the rarest Rank A or Rank S Artifact would not be impossible for her to find.

This is the reason why Cyril wanted to have a connection with this lady as early as possible.

He knows that he has limitations and it's impossible for him to find an exact Entrance to an Arcane World that he wanted…

There was no way for him to monopolize the best Arcane World.

With that in mind, he only has to ensure that he's connected with someone who can help him. Birgitta, or Britta as she wants to be called, is the best choice that he currently has.

"Alright… Since we only have limited stock and this is such a precious potion… We can probably sell each of them at a price similar to Rank A Artifact. If we tried auctioning them, we might be able to earn a lot more money but if we do as I say, we can make a connection with the River Sculptor and the Old Crafter… How does that sound?"

Britta asked as she started writing their contract. They have to agree with the base price for these bottles of potion to set their expectation about their profit.

On the other hand, Cyril smiled after hearing the title of the two reclusive Awakened. In the future, their items would become very useful for him so it's a good thing that Britta could make a connection with them just with those healing potions.

Right now, he doesn't even know where they are. So having Britta work for him is really a good decision.

"I'll leave it to you… Let's do the binding contract."

"That's better. I'll shoulder the price for this contract so don't worry." Britta replied as she stood up and close the door of her shop.

The Binding Contract that they are about to do requires a one-time-use Rank C Paper Artifact. Once the contract was finished, they would have to suffer a permanent internal injury if they decided to break it.

Since they will be doing a contract that involves a huge amount of money, Britta didn't mind spending 800 thousand worth of Paper Artifact to seal the deal.

Aside from that, if they used this Paper Artifact for their deal, Cyril would be able to avoid the Asura Guild's transaction commission.

"I will sign first… However, are you sure that you don't have any other requests?"

"I'm fine with this, Britta."

"Very well."

As soon as they signed the contract, the paper was burned into ashes as the two felt a warm sensation in their bodies.

The contract is finished!

"Amazing… This sensation is quite pleasant. Ahhh! This is the first time I have used this Paper Artifact so don't mind me. Thank you for trusting me, Cyril."

"I understand. This is also my first time."

Cyril replied as he stood up.

It is finally time to leave this place and look for his first Purple Crystal. Right now, the crystal price of low-class Arcane World is 200 million Ains so it's not a good idea to purchase them.

With his Crystal Hunter and Xagan's help, he's sure that he'll find one in less than a day!
