Chapter 59 - 59 (What?)

" W-what should we do now?!"

She stuttered within her words with her face crammed in panic.

Gripped her ċhėst tight as her breath staggered from time to time. The cold floor below with their breath hidden under... not daring to move a single step as they prayed for their safety.

The monster tilted his head slightly towards their location... but then that was it. Was it an act... was it truly happening?. A demi ancient being tricked by an item?.

It seemed the item that Keylon had used has proven its worth. The monster did not notice them. For now, they were safe...

" Life is good... what a childish method... "

The monster grumbled on its own. Slowly walking away towards the exit with his claws dripping in blood.

Stepping over those corpses and finally exited away from Evelyn's group line of sight.

*gasped!*

Their body limped downward...

Gasped for air as they panted heavily from the lack of oxygen. They had been holding their breath all this time.

Especially when the monster tilted his gaze towards their location. All of them felt it...

The feelings of being crushed under a mountain for a brief second. It was extremely suffocating to the extreme. Sweats drenched about on their back with their spine dropped low.

" We should leave now... "

Keylon said as he peeked from the corner. Looking over the exit area vigilantly with his eyes shining in a mysterious light.

" M-maybe we should wait here a bit longer, Keylon... "

Evelyn hurriedly grabbed his hand. With a pleading look of fear... she stared at him.

Not daring enough to step out from the same exit that the monster had used. What if the monster was still there?... or even not too far away from the exit area?.

Keylon naturally understood her thoughts. But she had missed a lot of information from the previous battle.

It was too... deliberate.

" Evelyn... That monster was playing around. it's not what you think it was"

He muttered with a serious look. Shifted his robe as he leaned his back against the wall.

"W-what do you mean?"

" It means what it means. He was toying around with those soldiers. He could easily wipe them out in an instant if he wishes so... but then... "

He halted for a while as he shifted his gaze towards her face.

" But then... why didn't he do it?. And you guys also saw it didn't you?"

He twisted his gaze to the rest of the silent guards. Asked for their opinion on this matter while the pendant was slowly losing its effect.

*gulped*

"Y-yes Sir Keylon. We did notice it but... maybe it was unintentional?"

One of the guards responded in a stammering voice.

" No... It was too obvious and also... deliberate. That's the problem. It's like a child looking over a small toy. Pretending that he didn't see us but then... it was too obvious"

Keylon shook his head.

He was no fool to believe that the monster's action was unintentional. Judging by the battle before... he roughly estimated the monster strength to be at least on the Emperor level.

An emperor level could easily kill those soldiers in seconds. But that was the weird part about it...

" B-but we can't leave through that path! what if we stumble against that monster again!"

Evelyn added in.

" No... we will directly punch our way up... "

"Huh? punch our way?"

"Yes... "

Keylon nodded as he pointed his finger towards the ceiling above.

The rest of them followed their gazes towards the ceiling. Pondering and pondering with a puzzled look.

"Sir Keylon... that is impossible to be accomplished. It is 50 kilometers deep from the surface area to this evacuation center. Even a normal demi emperor expert might not be able to do it. "

Since such an idea was simply an air talk rather than action. They were simply a normal lord-level expert. And the strongest would be Keylon at the King level expert.

Just how in the world would they be able to accomplish such a feat that even an ordinary Demi-Emperor couldn't?. Dreaming!...

" Don't worry... I have a plan. "

He smiled mysteriously.

-

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Back on the surface area.

Vince and Zerof were suppressing Saya with hand-to-hand combat. Fist against fist... legs swiped all around and with those shockwaves that their punches radiated.

*BOOM!*

*TREMBLES!* *TREMBLES!* *TREMBLES!*

Saya parried both of their punches with her arm crossed on the front. The earth shook and caved in under her feet with her eyes shining in red.

"Humph!"

*BOOM!*

She stomped her feet downward. Bombing the whole area with the immense power of her physical strength.

"She's quite tricky... "

" A monster having such a high battle iq like this is extremely rare... "

Both Vince and Zerof backed away from the area.

Tapping lightly on the ground as they glanced towards the crater on the front.

Her eyes peered from left to right with her hair swirling elegantly on the back. Being watchful against the other 3 hiding divine with their weird attacking method.

" What a hassle... this law concept is such a problem. "

She complained secretly.

The suppression not only hindered her movement. It also made her energy appear to be extremely sluggish.

Who created this law?. What a problematic concept.

Well, she understood the meaning behind this concept. Which was to formulate balance among the powerful beings inside this world.

Just because you can destroy hundreds of kilometers worth of area easily. That doesn't mean you can't be killed by those who are weaker than you.

But luckily, This was not his true body. Or else it will be such a huge problem.

'System is there an auto-battle mod?'

She asked within.

(Ding, yes host. Would the host like to turn it on?.)

(Note: host can deactivate it at will)

"Do it... "

Her eyes were brimming in fighting spirit.

Hiro bȧrėly possessed any fighting experiences. All he did before was simply a deterrence of high-level physical strength and energy.

It was simple and yet still overwhelmingly powerful that he managed to compete against those experienced divine.

They are veterans among veterans when it comes to this matter. Physical skill, spells, and years of fighting instinct.

Hiro's fighting instinct of 1 year old can't be compared to years or even hundreds of years of constant sharpening.

Though his physical skill, spells, and even high level of energy toppled all of that with a large gap.

*ziss!* *ziss!* *ziss!*

Her body suddenly steamed out hot gasses. Erupted like a flare as the surrounding area was quickly filled up with fog.

Right now, Hiro and Saya were in the same situation. They can feel their body but they can't control it at all. It was like a movie but seated tightly. With the screen flashing away scenes after scenes for them to watch.

" What's happening?... what's with this fog?"

Vince frowned a bit as he changed his posture. His fist readied on the side with his eyes peering forward vigilantly.

Zerof was standing next to him. He also was feeling a bit uncomfortable at the moment.

" She's changing her battle tactic. This is bad"

Zerof said with a serious voice.

A monster that will fight them head-on is better compared to those monsters that fought with tricks and tactics.

Especially when it comes to a situation like this.

They know that they can't do much damage to Saya in a short period. It was pretty much a balanced fight before, but now if the monster finally decided to play on the same book.

Then, it will be much harder. Luckily, the suppression was still there, or else they might have been pummeled to the ground already.

The fog soon covered all of the places. The sky was blocked with its presence and even the sunlight couldn't pass through it.

Naturally, they won't be on the defensive too much. All of them hurriedly attempted to clear off the fog with all of their might.

A slash that could cut a mountain, a fist that could blast the moon, and even a giant that could sweep the continent. But none of those attacks prevail.

But instead, the fog kept on getting thicker. Blurring their line of sight as they were forced to use their energy to look around.

This without a doubt restrained them by a large amount.

"Tch... this monster is playing tricks now?. This is bad... "

Mildred couldn't help but cursed silently. Standing behind a large rock with his eyes looking around in concern.

It was a mistake to distance themselves from one to another. Now they don't even know where the rest were lurking. Divided in a flash... and all it took was a simple move.

" My energy sense is extremely limited. If I were to use it on a large scale then my location will be exposed to that monster. What a troublesome method!"

He gritted his teeth. Slowly walking in the dark fog in readiness. Not knowing what will happen next.

Somewhere on the corner. Kai was currently standing on top of a building with his glasses reflecting those thick fog within it.

" Hey hey... what a horrible method. She divided us in a flash and we can't even do anything to stop it"

*swooosh!*

He slashed with his sword.

Suddenly!.

A giant energy blade bulleted through. But then it disappeared into the fog... as if it had been consumed with no traces behind.

"Hey... horrible!. "

He patted his head.
