Chapter 33 - 33(The truth part 2)

Dust was riled up all around the corner of the wall. Shrouding the entire perspective with the sandy touch of the debris falling over.

*Thuds!* *Thuds!* *Thuds!*

*cough!* *cough!* *cough!*

"Damn it! quick! get up!"

Elder Li shouted with vigilance as he strumbled himself to stand up once again. Though his ċhėst had been buckled in quite slightly by the prior collision. Added with the dripping blood flowing away from the corner of his mouth.

His subordinate also suffered the same fate. But with a distinction of the degree of injuries. Since Elder Li is stronger than them naturally they had been injured even more seriously.

"Captain! I think it's her!"

One of the cloaked men shouted next to him.

"I know..."

He acknowledged with a pressing expression on his face as he wrapped his ċhėst with one of his arms. Slowly standing up as he heightened his senses once again. Attempting to perceive the hidden attacker from before.

"Show yourself Senior Weyn... "

"Elder Li... it seems you are that kind of a person after all!"

Suddenly... the air in front warped before their very eyes as in the next instant a peerless figure walked out from it. The cold blue dress added with her long jet-black hair. Magnifying in with her graceful figure and her piercing red pair of eyes. A true beauty indeed.

"Humph... you know nothing about kindness. Senior..."

Elder Li worsened his tone as he slowly extend his left arm away from his ċhėst.

"Kindness is the result, Elder Li... but you and your agenda focused more on the process."

"And that process harms more than what was expected to be achieved."

She continued with her words as the temperature suddenly plummeted considerably.

"..."

A brief silence permeated the whole atmosphere

as Elder Li had no way to refute her words...

The air appeared to be stagnant... but unawares

*claps* *claps* *claps*

Sounds of a hand-clapping together tingled behind her as this ultimately steer all of their gazes in that direction.

Veering around their gazes back towards the origin of the sound... there stood a small figure with a proud and cold face. His mocking smile already confided them how much of a ruthless person he is.

"Bravo! bravo! you guys sure love to create drama!"

Eli spoke lightly as he paced onwards next to Senior Weyn. Reaching there... he slowly squeezed his arm against Senior Weyn's waist... but to everyone's surprise! She's didn't refuse!.

"Master... "

A tiny pink blush twinkles on her cheeks as she timidly put forth her innocent look.

"You did a good job Weyn! "

Eli said with a huge smile on his face. Tightly gripping his hand onto her slim waist.

"Hahaha, I never thought that someone like you! Someone like you! to be hidden so deep inside that half-crippled academy!"

Beholding the scene transpiring before his very eyes... Elder Li cackled with contempt and amazement as he had never foreseen this.

He had known that within the academy there was this one child that had always been deserted... talentless and miserable.

"Eli... was it?... hahaha... I had looked down upon you! No, I even didn't take note of your existence before... But I had never expected you to be such a deeply hidden person"

"Well... Then what are you going to do about it?... kill me?"

"No... I won't be able to kill you since Senior Weyn is protecting you"

"Then how about I ordered her to kill all of you?... sounds like a fair trade right?"

"Hahaha! yes, it does sounds like a fair trade! but...."

"I beg to differ!"

Suddenly his voice came to a pause.

*swoosh!*

In an instant, he dashed towards the giant crystal pillar in the inner of the altar while the rest of his subordinates shot towards Eli and Senior Weyn.

"Stop her for me!"

"Yes!"

*Clang!* *boom!* *boom*

Not to be outperformed... Senior Weyn quickly cast a spell wherein a large circle of runes materialized out of thin air obstructing all of the cloaked men's paths.

While this was transpiring...

Elder Li eventually arrived before the giant crystal as in the next second he took out a weirdly odd dark dagger.

*Stabs!* *crack!*

Without hesitation... he impaled the dagger into the crystal.

"Master! Please help us! "

He screamed with eagerness as his face was filled with awe and admiration.

*cracks* * crack* *cracks*!

A blinding dark glow detonated from the crystal cracks as they circulate about throughout it.

*Boom!*

*steps* *steps*

Finally, the giant crystal rumbled into pieces as in the next second a tall and burly figure wrapped in black twilight armor walked out from it.

The height alone stands at 2.12 m added with the dark hair and his sharp eyes. Explosive muscles were protected under the heavy armor as he slowly crossed out his arm and peered towards his surrounding with ridicule.

"What's the matter?... you waking me up from my sleep must have a solid reason"

The man conversed unhurriedly towards Elder Li.
