"ARRRGHHHH!!!"

Angered by Grim's provocative words, Mars charged towards him in his giant suit of crystal armour and swung his giant fist down at him.

"Heh." Grinning at Mars's rage filled charge, Grim copied his actions and charged towards him with his beast swords in each hand.

"GRIM!!"

"DIEEE!!!"

Hearing the voices of Mars and his comrades, Grim watched as the fist grew larger in his eyes, relying on pure instinct alone, he dropped down to his knees and slid forward bȧrėly avoiding getting his face destroyed by the clump of crystals. Feeling the air pressure from the crystal fist brush against the top of his head, the shadow of the fist briefly covered his body as he slid between Mars's legs.

*Schwing!*

*Schwing!*

Passing through his legs, Grim's swords easily slashed through the crystal legs before he span around and charged towards Mars's back. Having cut through Mars's support, the giant crystal armour was in the process of toppling to the ground. But before that could happen, like a relentless animal Grim was back on him as he appeared behind Mars and holding his swords in a reverse grip, he ruthlessly stabbed them through the crystal armour had them pierce Mars's ribs.

"AHHHH!!"

'Not exactly crushing them, but good enough for now.'

*CRASH!!*

Jumping off before the armour hit the ground, Grim landed several feet away from the downed diamond mage and de-materialized his swords.

With Mars's defeat, the crystal clones that were attacking the clover kingdom mages fell apart as they had no one to control them.

"He... He did it..." Still unable to believe what had just happened, Klaus was in a heightened state of confusion as the events of Mars's defeat replayed in his mind.

"Yeah." Noelle nodded and helped Mimosa to her feet. "He did it."

*Clamp* *Clamp*

Locking the unconscious Mars up in Claus's steel magic bindings, Grim turned to look at the steel mage.

"Will they hold him?"

After seeing the way in which Grim fought and feeling some of his absurd mana, Klaus had begun to subconsciously treat Grim better.

"Considering how wounded he is it shouldn't be a problem."

"Good." He nodded before turning to look at everyone. "Now onto what really matters." He pointed at a large door. "Who gets to go into the treasure room first?"

"Ahem." Hearing him, Klaus decided to step forward.

"Since we were the first one to find the room, we of the Golden Dawn will be the first one's to enter." He pushed up his glasses and continued. "However, due to recent events that have taken place, we will allow you to enter as a thank you for your help."

"Hey guys, it looks like the door is was made with some powerful magic. I don't think we'll be able to get through it using normal means."

"Normal means?" Everyone turned to look at Grim and Asta.

Asta then made a smug face as he looked at Klaus.

"So you can't get through the door because its made of magic. Well that's something isn't it. But you Golden Dawn folks can easily do deal with something like that can't you?"

Listening to Asta's attempt to sound condesending, Klaus lost all his drive as he realized that his group had no real way to open the door.

'Why are the nobles of this kingdom so weak willed?'

Watching the conversation between Asta and Klaus, Grim sighed and called Asta over.

"Can you do it?"

"Of course!" He gave him a thumbs up and sliced open the door.

While Grim could have done it, he couldn't be bothered to do the grunt work so he asked Asta if he could do it for him.

---

"Woah! Look at all this gold!!"

Rushing into the treasure room, the members of the Black Bulls and the Golden Dawn started rumaging around.

"So how come your group came as a 4 man team instead of a 3?" Mismosa asked her cousin as they searched the area.

"Me, Grim and Asta are all new to the squad and the captain wanted all of us to have some dungeon exploring experience so he had Luck come with us and show us the ropes."

"Oh..." Mismosa nodded.

---

"Useless, Trash, Garbage." Pocketing some of the gold coins, Grim threw around a couple of magic tools as most of them were useless for someone like him.

While he was busy throwing them around, Yuno's attention was drawn to a weird scroll sitting in on an altar.

"Ow, ow! Stop pulling me Nero!" Lead to an ordinary looking wall by his anti-magic bird, Asta started complaining as Nero kept pulling on his hair.

Suddenly feeling a strange wave of mana, Grim turned around and saw that Yuno guy holding a glowing scroll. But before he could think about it any further, both he and Luck felt a sinister mana signature approaching them.

"EVERYBODY RUN!" Luck suddenly yelled as Mars came bulldozing through the entry way in his giant suit of crystal armour with a bang.

"Urgh!" Covering their faces from the dust cloud, a malicious light flashed through Mars's eyes as he found Grim's figure located among the treasures.

"ARRRGGGHHHH!!!" He screamed as tens of crystals shot out of his body.

'What the hell...'

Staring at the newly awakened Mars, Klaus's eyes went wide couldn't believe what he was seeing. Despite having clearly used crystal magic from the moment they had encountered each other, the current upper portion of Mars's body was bathed in flames.

"Flame recovery magic, phoenix feathers robe."

'Flame recovery magic! Its impossible for someone to have more than one element! Is-Is this the result of the Diamond Kingdom's experiments."

Just then, he heard the laugh of someone he was recently aquainted with.

"I didn't think you'd have this more energy left. But now that you're here, I guess I can fulfil my promise of breaking those ribs afterall."

Releasing his own magic, a soft coat of orange light coated Grim's body as everyone felt the temperature around them rise.

"F-Fire magic..." By this point, Klaus was ready to give up being a magic knight as he felt like it was begining to have a negative effect on his heart.
