145 A talk with Magi-kun part 1

When I wake up, I feel completely revitalized. Ahh, life is good, life is good. I can now truly appreciate not being in constant agony! How blessed am I! Ah, calm down, calm down, I'm getting to excited. There's still stuff to get done. First, I should find Hypocrite and thank him for everything.

Fully replenished, I move out of the main tree and into my fairy body. As my body was forming I hear a familiar but dark voice behind me,"Fairy!"

I turn around to see a disgruntled, slightly angry Magi-kun point what looks to be a gun at me and shoots before I could understand the situation. I could only look at him in shock before whatever shot out hit me. My vision turned dark and I once again lost consciousness.

I'm face to beak with Mister bird once more. This happened a lot sooner than I though it would. I think Mister bird thinks so as well, because he only stared at me in silence instead of its usual greeting of chirps.

I take this time to reflect on what just happened. ...What did...just happen? An angry looking child with large bags under his eyes look at me in fury and shot me... Why? The quick glance I got told me that Magi-kun's action was a momentary lapse of judgement. Meaning he was overcome with emotions and let his anger drive his actions. I know...I know Magi has his reasons for being angry, and I'll acknowledge them, but I will not forgive him. I will not forgive the trust he's betrayed.

I find myself clenching my fists until the turned white. I calm myself by petting the sparrow.

I'm given little time to think as my consciousness is swept away once more. My vision is fuzzy as I slowly open my eyes. I use a lot of effort to sit up, as my body feels like a ton of bricks. My eyes start to focus and the first thing I see is a still angry, but somewhat apologetic Magi watching me intently.

As I force my body to sit up, I watch him open his mouth wanting to say something, but nothing comes out. He collects his thoughts for a few moments and says in a weak and heavy tone,"...I'm sorry."
