Chen Zi Tao's eyes were full of bewilderment. He could not understand what his granddaughter was saying but Chen Zi Tao knew that his granddaughter would never lie to him. He stared at XuanRong's eyes. Her eyes were very clear, not an ounce of malice and deception were reflected inside her pupils.

Without any rejection, Chen Zi Tao smiled at XuanRong.

"Maternal Grandfather believes in Rong'er. Whatever Rong'er do, maternal grandfather will always support Rong'er."

Hearing her maternal grandfather's trustful words, XuanRong's eyes could not help but turn misty. She inwardly vowed that she would do her best and would not let her Fourth JiuMu and her BiaoDi die in vain.

XuanRong and Chen Zi Tao were only whispering with each other, thus, no one was able to hear their conversation. Imperial Physician Gong snorted and opened his mouth to speak.

"Rong'er, what are you doing?"

Chen Zi Tao was shocked. He could not understand his maternal granddaughter.

"Rong'er would like to apologize."
