About an hour later, Pei Siyan’s car had finally made it to the B.O.M

A furious mid-aged man in a white coat with stubble on his face came to them the second they entered the front gate of the B.O.M.

He pulled Pei Siyan by his collar and snapped, “You prick! I told you to come over here in ten minutes and you took an hour? Are you courting death?”

The mid-aged man was the ‘Big Funder No.1’ who was on the phone talking to Pei Siyan; his name was Pei Hao

Pei Siyan didn’t show any emotions on his face when his collar was being pulled. He just said indifferently, “I was at the suburban areas of the city, so it took me a while to get here.”

He then looked at Pei Hao with his cold eyes, implying him to let loose.

Pei Hao knew that he would get himself in trouble if he pushed Pei Siyan to his limits so he let him go with unpleasantness.

Suddenly, his eyes fell on Jiang Sheng who was standing beside Pei Siyan. He looked Jiang Sheng up and down. He then got close to him and sniffed him.

Jiang Sheng was scared by that, so he hid behind Pei Siyan right away.

‘Holy sh*t! Is this weird guy a hentai (i.e., pervert) or something? Why was he sniffing me?’

As for Pei Siyan, he frowned immediately and stared at Pei Hao with even colder eyes.

Pei Hao explained right away, “No no no, I don’t have any intention. It’s just the smell of him is familiar to me, very similar to an a**hole I know.”

‘Smell? Shouldn’t that be scent?’

Jiang Sheng complained secretly and sniffed his own arm by the way, yet he smelled nothing.

“Wait, did you get a new wife?”

‘His smell is somehow similar but different from Lan Yuan. What’s his deal?’

“Are you still living in the stone age? Lan Yuan has died centuries ago.”

Now Pei Siyan was able to remain calm when he talked about Lan Yuan; he was no longer aggrieved about it.

“Oh yeah! I’ve been in the bureau for centuries, so it slipped my mind.” Pei Hao mumbled to himself.

“Centuries? You are also not a human being?” Jiang Sheng was shocked.

“Of course I’m not. What? He didn’t tell you about me?”

Pei Hao replied to Jiang Sheng and raised his eyebrows at Pei Siyan.

“No he didn’t, but your tag on the phone is ‘Big Funder No.1’.” Jiang Sheng was quite straightforward; he just said what he saw.

“Puff! ‘Big Funder No.1’?”

Pei Hao was about to throw up a gulp of blood.

“I’m your uncle, man! What is ‘Big Funder No.1’?” Pei Hao poked on Pei Siyan’s forehead and lectured him.

‘What? What what what? This hentai is Pei Siyan’s uncle? So he is also a Majin! Damn, so this uncle is also an old geezer!’

“Can you still be considered as my uncle since you’ve left the family for hundreds of years?”

“And you little prick has also left the Pei Family. How dare you even lecture me on that?” Pei Hao was getting grumpy over this.

Pei Siyan didn’t talk back; he just looked at Pei Hao indifferently.

Words couldn’t even express how mad Pei Hao was. He pointed at Pei Siyan and said nothing but “You!”.

But still, he didn’t forget to ask about the business, “What’s your deal with the magic fish? I’m running short on stock here. Are you trying to get me in trouble?”

“I just don’t have it. How am I supposed to make them appear out of nowhere? Can’t you guys return to the magic world and catch them yourselves?” Pei Siyan’s voice was cold as if he had nothing to do with it.

“You are just trying to get us killed! Can we still return to the magic word now? There hasn’t been any Majin living there for almost a thousand years. That place is now covered with devils and demons!”

“Then wait longer, and I’ll send someone there to catch more.”

That didn’t mean Pei Siyan could be safe in the magic world, but he could only say it in that way for now. After all, he couldn’t just say that Jiang Sheng had eaten all the magic fish.

“Then hurry up.” Pei Hao agreed, but then added, “Come on! That is something serious that you should not mess around with. Do you have any idea how many non-humans are living here? If they run out of drugs and go ballistic all together, then this city will be doomed. You don’t need me to tell you that, right?”

Pei Siyan knew the consequences, so he remained silent and didn’t talk back.

Jiang Sheng couldn’t just stand there and watch Pei Siyan being blamed because of him, so he walked up and apologized, “I’m sorry. I’m the one who ate the magic fish. You can blame me if you want. Pei Siyan has nothing to do with it.” Jiang Sheng looked down on the ground and said.

“You don’t need to apologize for that.”

Pei Siyan stroked Jiang Sheng’s head and told him not to kick himself.

“But it’s my fault after all! I can’t just let you take all the responsibility!”

Jiang Sheng said that quietly with his voice full of apologies.

Pei Siyan was stunned for a while because Lan Yuan used to mess things up and left him hold the bag.

But Jiang Sheng was different, he would confess his wrongdoings.

Pei Siyan slowly cracked a smile, ‘I was right. You are my ideal man indeed.’

“What? Did you eat all of the magic fish? That’s billions yuan of ingredient of drugs, bro!” Pei Hao was so shocked that his jaw was about to drop.

“I’m sorry.” Jiang Sheng looked down and apologized again.

“There’s no use for you to apologize now! There’s nothing we can do about it since you have eaten them!”

Pei Hao was getting anxious over this, but what was even more surprising was that Pei Siyan didn’t blame Jiang Sheng on that! That was quite a lot of money even to a businessman like him.

‘I’ve never seen him being so gentle even when he was with Lan Yuan back then. Who is this little dude who looks like Lan Yuan?’

Pei Hao couldn’t help but gave Jiang Sheng another look out of curiosity.

But then again he frowned, ‘The more I look at him, the more he looks like that son of a gun little prick to me! Are they relatives or something? Goddamn it! Then he can’t be anything good either!’

Pei Hao was mad just thinking about him, which told how much he hated that “little prick”.
