Chapter 487

“Mommy, I’m so scared. I wanna go home, I wanna go find my grandmother.”

It was a conversation among the crowd. The mother was holding the child and comforting her. She was afraid too, but she didn’t dare to cry.

Because she knew very well that these exorcist were no match for those monsters.

“Of course we can, but we can’t do it” Pei Siyang answered.

“Why?! Since you can help them, why don’t you do it?”

Jiang Sheng shook Pei Siyang, wanting him to help.

Jiang Cheng and Bai Hezhi had already gone there, even Bai Jiaojiao got off the car,  but they didn’t take any action.

Hei Ming helped Pei Siyang answer his question, “Because we are dangerous people who are included in city management. We are not allowed to participate in any disturbance because…”

At this point, Hei Ming stopped and turned his eyes to Jiang Sheng, “Because we are more terrible than those monsters. Once humans know the existence of us, we will be eliminated by you humans. This is how the current food chain runs.”

“Humans will not allow races more powerful than them to stay in their own territory. They will join forces to deal with us.”

“At that time, we wouldn’t be able to help humans to deal with monsters, what’s worse, non-humans might even fight with humans.”

“My family is rational, but not all non-humans are as rational as us. They couldn’t want anything more than non-humans fighting with humans and then leaving them to occupy the city.”

Hei Ming told Jiang Sheng so much because he didn’t want Jiang Sheng to force Pei Siyang.

Before when Pei Siyang made his move, no exorcist was there, so nobody noticed his identity.

But there were so many exorcists on the site, once they made a move, their identities would be exposed and cause more panic.

Becuase the exorcists would definitely tell the public that they were not humans, they were as scary as the monsters, and they were all creatures that eat people.

Jiang Sheng lowered his head and fell silent. He didn’t know that the non-human’s situation was so dangerous.

“What about Uncle Mo? Didn’t you send Uncle Mo out to help the humans? What if he werediscovered?” Jiang Sheng was scared.

Pei Siyang caressed his head and consoled him, “Don’t worry, Uncle Mo has lived for thousands of years. He could defeat those monsters only with his common power, there’s no need to show his magic power.”

But it there were exorcists around him, he might be suspected.

Pei Siyang began to worry about him.
