“What’s wrong with the two of them?”

Bai Hao looked curiously at Hei Ming who was holding Bai Haotian in his arms and muttered.

“Guess Master Haotian was to answer the nature’s call.”

Uncle Mo quickly explained. He could always help Hei Ming when he needed it.

However, Bai Jiaojiao looked at the black of Hei Ming, and suddenly said, “That little boy, he won’t live long!”

Uncle Mo’s eyes instantly widened. He quickly covered Bai Jiaojiao’s mouth, then frowned and warned her not to speak nonsense.

Bai Jiaojiao pouted but was not shocked.

Bai Hao was stunned, but he didn’t take it seriously. He bent down and smiled as he said to Bai Jiaojiao, “Jiaojiao, you can’t say such nonsense!”

“I’m not talking nonsense.”

Bai Jiaojiao immediately mumbled. Luckily her mouth was covered by Uncle Mo, otherwise, Bai Hao would have heard it.

“Madam, please go inside and wait for Master Haotian. I left something in the car, and I’ll go get them.”

Uncle Mo quickly found an excuse trying to send Bai Hao away.

“Do you need help?”

Bai Hao asked.

“No, no, I can handle it myself.”

“That’s good then! I’ll go check on Haotian and Hei Ming.”

Bai Hao replied.

“There’s no need. It’s probably he ate somthing wrong. So won’t smell good.”

Uncle Mo was freaken out, so he immediately stopped Bai Hao.

Bai Hao thought for a moment and then gave up.

“Alright then! If you can’t hold them all, just call me. I’ll go help you.”

“Okay, please go in! It’s cold outside.”

Bai Hao was confused. Cold? The current temperature was at least 20 degrees!

But he didn’t ask more. He just walked into the hall.

The moment Bai Hao left, Uncle Mo sighed in relief.

“You can let go of me now!”

Bai Jiaojiao looked at Uncle Mo and asked.

“Sorry for what I did just now.”

Uncle Mo took his hands off Bai Jiaojiao’s mouth right away.

“I won’t mind then.”

Bai Jiaojiao replied and walked back to the hall.

“Wait a minute, Miss Bai.”

Uncle Mo suddenly stopped Bai Jiaojiao.

“What now?!”

Bai Jiaojiao turned around impatiently and stopped.

On her face, Uncle Mo saw something mature, but she was clearly a little girl.

“May I ask why you said our young master wouldn’t live long?”

Uncle Mo did not waste time but directly asked.

“You guys know that little boy couldn’t live long, don’t you? Otherwise, why do you hide it from that elder brother?”

Bai Jiaojiao looked as if she was asking why asking her while knowing the truth.

Uncle Mo immediately explained, “We know that because we know the cause of this illness. But you just saw our young master for the first time, how did you tell that?”

“If you want to ask why, all I can say is I don’t know. I just saw it.”

Bai Jiaojiao replied as if she was also puzzled by this.

“You saw it?” Uncle Mo was stunned. “So, you are able to see the fate of people?”

There was an additional hint of excitement in Uncle Mo’s voice, but Bai Jiaojiao asked him in a daze, “What does fate mean?”

Uncle Mo was stunned, and his eyes turned smaller.

He frowned awkwardly. “So you can’t see his fate!”

That’s natural. Just a little girl. How’s that possible for her to see fate?

This unique ability was something that only city managers possessed.

Uncle Mo breathed a sigh of relief. If Bai Jiaojiao really had such ability, it would really be something against the heavenly will. After she grew up, she would definitely be the successor to the city manager.

But just as Uncle Mo let out a sigh of relief, Bai Jiaojiao said, “I don’t know what you are talking about, but I saw that the flames around the younger brother’s body were about to dry up and only the core was left. Usually, when I saw people like this, they usually died very soon, which was why I said that just now.”

Uncle Mo was shocked. This was exactly what only the city manager could see.
