Chapter 87 - Aquacorde Town Festival

"Why can't we see around in the Small world? You pulled us out right after breakfast." Serena complained to Sam as he didn't let them explore the Small world.

"We don't have a choice, do we? We have to go to the Vaniville town to meet your mother and return as well within fifteen days. If we stopped to explore the Small world it would take a lot of time as it is quite large in size." Sam said slowly.

It took quite a while to appease both of them. Both of them understood that it is not the time to explore when Sam explained to them but they were still in bad mood.

In the afternoon, Mewtwo and Mew returned with rest of the species of pokemon that they had not collected yesterday. After Sam put them all in the Small world, he had collected all the species that reside in the Santalune forest.

They spent one more say before reaching the Aquacorde town in the evening. The whole town was brightly lit with lights and a lot of people seem to be roaming on the streets. They went to the pokemon center and inquired about what was going on in the town. They got to know that a festival was going on in the town.

The Aquacorde town is a classical town with European styled building layout. The whole town had a medieval Europe like feeling and all the people in the town had dressed up in medieval era costumes and a lot of people were dancing around the bonfire in the center of the town.

Sam, Vivi and Serena also bought dresses from the shops in the town and joined the festival after changing the dresses. They also released their pokemon so that they can also have fun in the festival.

Froakie just sat on the shoulder of Sam and just ate the cake. Both the Ralts joined the people around the bonfire started to dance with them. As the emotions of the people who were dancing were cheerful, both the Ralts were having a good time with them. Fletchling sat on the other shoulder of Sam and enjoyed the view. Serena went to the shops and bought a skirt for Fennekin and a hat for Skitty. Vivi also dressed her pokemon according to her style.

Sam asked both Vivi and Serena for a dance one by one and bought up their bad mood. They all danced together with the townsmen till midnight and then returned to the pokemon center to sleep. Although they didn't plan but they had a lot of fun because of the festival.

Next morning, they had breakfast in the pokemon center cafeteria and then left for the Vaniville town. Serena was excited to meet her mother and show her mother her new pokemon partners. Sam and Vivi were also affected by her enthusiasm and unknowingly got excited.

"Hey Serena, what does your mother do by the way?"

"My mother is a Rhyhorn racer. You won't believe but she is really one of the top racer in the kalos. All my cooking skills were also taught by her. But she is also annoying when she keeps me pestering about becoming a Rhyhorn racer like her." Serena started to praise her mother first but in the end it turned into a complaint.
