Chapter 24 - Exeggutor

Sam went to the ghost tower and uses the shiny bar as he plans to catch a ghost type pokemon for training.

He went to the tower and entered it. He felt that the temperature has dropped as soon as he stepped into the tower.

The atmosphere in the felt like prehistoric is alway staring at him. The pokemons usually present in the ghost tower are Gastly , Haunter and Gengar. They used to make pranks on each anyone who enters the tower but now they atmosphere felt wrong as if someone has suppressed them all.

Sam climbed the tower floor by floor upwards and found a lot of Gastly and Haunter there. But none of them tried to play prank on him and only stayed in their original position , silently absorbing the ghost energy present in the air.

Sam defeated all the Gastlys with the help of Mewtwo and Exeggcute and sent them to his Small world. Sam went all the way unhindered till the penultimate floor where a shiny Gengar was standing there as if guarding the door.

Sam got curious about what it was guarding and at the same time also felt a familiar atmosphere but he can't pinpoint it.

Sam gave the leaf stone to Exeggcute and soon a white glow of evolution surrounded Exeggcute's body. Exeggcute grew in size as its six heads changed to three heads and grew a tree trunk body and a pair of short legs and there were dark orange leaves above its head.

Upon evolution Exeggutor's accumulation burst out and it reached the bottleneck of top stage. Now both Exeggutor and Gengar are facing each other and Mewtwo stood on the side of Sam to prevent Gengar from attcking Sam.

"Exeggutor, use Psychic."

The battle between the two pokemons began as soon as Sam ordered Exeggutor. The invisible Psychic struck Gengar and injured it, then the Gengar went to hide in the shadow.

"Trying to hide, its not so easy. Exeggutor use Grassy Terrain." A green light spread from the legs of Exeggutor and spread on the whole floor eliminating any shodows. Gengar was visible again.

"Exeggutor, use Seed Bomb and Bullet Seed all over the floor." Exeggutor did as Sam said and showered a lot of seeds from top of its head. Gengar tried to dodge but was only able to dodge a few and soon was caught in series of explosion.

When Gengar was visible again it was bruised all over. Gengar got to know that it can't hide so it began a frontal confrontation. It first uses Toxic towards Exeggutor and then follewed by Shadow Punch and Sucker Punch.

"Exeggutor, counterattack using Wood Hammer." Exeggutor's heads shone with green light and then it hit Gengar. "Exeggutor finish it with Giga Drain." And soon Gengar fainted and Sam captured it using pokeball.

Sam then went towards the top floor and was shocked to see a large yellow shadow. As soon as Sam saw the whole body of the pokemon, he got surprised.
