Chapter 5 - Celadon City And Report

Professor Oak took Sam towards the Celadon city. Professor Oak was riding his Dragonite while Sam was riding Professor Oak's Charizard. It took 7 hours to reach Celadon city at top speed of champion level pokemons.

They landed near the outskirts of Celadon cuty and went towards the pokemon center. They registered there and then came to the hall. "San you have time till evening , you can roam the city. Make sure to come back here by evening."

Sam went around the whole city sightseeing and eating snacks he also saw the Celadon University where he will be giving his presentation tomorrow. While roaming he saw a depleted warehouse but the strange thing about it was that a lot of masked and hooded figures were going in and out from there.

Sam tried to go there but was stopped by a passing old man. "Boy , the black market is not the place where you should go." "Black market , what is that ?" asked Sam.

The old man looked at Sam in surprise as he thought that Sam knew about black market and was thus going towards it. "Black market is counterpart of league market but the things sold in black market are obtained illegally such as snatching from others and hunting in wild. It is jointly organized by the underground forces of the region."

Sam tried to get more information about thr black market but unfortunately the old man refused to tell him anymore as the old man purpose was only to scare away Sam from the black market. Soon it turned evening so Sam returned to the pokemon center. He went to his ȧssigned room and lay down on the bed. He didn't enter the Small world as he thought it would be dangerous if someone came in the room saw him disappear and appear in thin air.

'So this wirld also has black market. I never saw about it in Professor's computer as it might not store its information. Looks like I have to make slight changes to my plans.' murmured Sam and soon he got asleep.

Next day Professor Oak took him to Celadon University where media people have already gathered. He also saw many bigshots of Kanto region as well as several professors from other regions. He saw the President of Kanto Alliance , Elite four Lorelei , Professor Birch from Hoenn , Professor Juniper from Unova and many other professors which have not appeared in the game or anime.

Professor Oak went to the stage and greeted all the guests and talked about the topic for which all of them have gathered and then called Sam for his report. As Sam came to the stage , Professor Oak went and sat down amongst other professors.

Sam took a deep breath and relaxed his tense nerves and then started his report, "Good morning everyone , you all know about todays topic so I will go straight to the point. I observed and proposed the theory that the multiple evolution routes of Eevee are due to its unstable genetic composition. The known three evolution routes that can be done with the help of huge elemental energy present in evolution stones which help Eevee stabilize its genetic structure and thus making it evolve. If we can provide Eevee huge elemental energy by other means it can also stabilize its genetic structure making it evolve. I would like to invite Miss Lorelei to show her pokemon which evolved from Eevee named Glaceon."

Lorelei took a pokeball off her belt and then threw it in air and a Glaceon appeared in front of all. "Wow a new pokemon." "It looks beautiful and graceful" "It looks like its ice type pokemon" Several professors discussed fervently about the Glaceon that appeared before them.

"As everyone can see that this pokemon evolved from Eevee by complementing its genes with ice type energy. Another trainer who was tasked with another evolution of Eevee named Leafeon was unable to come here due to some reasons but he has sent the video of his pokemon , I will now display it on the screen." said Sam and turned on the video of Leafeon gracefully jumped in the forest. Soon murmuring started among professors.

Next was question answer session as Sam answered them one by one and also asked system for help if he couldn't answer it. Soon it was over and everyone clapped for Sam. Thr President of Kanto Region came and gave the certificate of Assistant Professor . "Congratulations boy , you have become the youngest Assistant Professor in the world. Now what are your plans for future ?" asked the President. "I want travel around the world with my pokemons and do research along the way." replied Sam.

"Congratulations Sam" Professor Oak came and said. "Thank you Professor , it wouldn't have been possible without your help." said Sam. "Haha don't be modest , it was your hard work that you achieved this honor." said Professor Oak.

The President of Kanto Alliance came with a light brown pokemon egg and gave it to Sam. "We hope you can continue your work and this Eevee egg is your gift from the league." Sam took the egg from his hands and held it excitedly.
