Chapter 2 - 2 Years

Next morning , Sam got up early and got ready for going to Professor oak's lab. He reached the lab and greeted Professor Oak. "Good morning Professor", " Good morning Sam. Are you ready?" "Yes Professor"

"Follow me" Said Professor Oak and went to the backyard. Sam followed him and heard him saying , " Your first job is to take care of all the pokemons here." "Ok Professor" Sam said and got to his work.

Soon a month passed and Sam was busy whole month taking care of pokemons in Professor Oak's backyard.

"He is a hard worker and quite patient. Really a good boy. It looks like he is suitable for being my ȧssistant even though he is only 5 year old." Professor Oak was secretly watching Sam take care of pokemons. This whole month was Professor Oak's test for Sam as he can't just accept anyone as his ȧssistant. Sam loves pokemons and thus passed Professor Oak's test.

"Sam come here , now you have passed the test so you can officially be my ȧssistant from tomorrow. So get ready." Sam didn't knew that it was a test so he was a little confused but he didn't care as Professor said he has became his official ȧssistant.

Next morning , Sam reached even earlier than everyday. He saw Professor eating noodles and greeted him. "Good morning Professor" , "Oh, good morning Sam. To be my ȧssistant first of all you should have large amount of knowledge about pokemons. I have made a folder on my computer desktop so you have to memorize all the things in it."

"Ok Professor" said Sam and went to his computer as there was a folder by his name on the desktop. He opened it and was going to read as he heard the sound of system in his mind.

'Large database detected , whether to copy ?'

'Yes' Sam said in his mind.

Large amount of pokemon data

Reward : Pokedex (Detailed Real world)

Sam was pretending to read the data as he heard the sound of system informing him of conditions fulfilled for second function. He got surprised.

Soon he got to know what this Pokedex is. It stores all the data about pokemons that has been researched till now. It is similar to Pokedex issued by league but more advanced.

Then Sam begin to memorize all the things in the folder. It wasn't difficult for him as most of the things were similar to his past life games. He got to know that only 3 of Eevee evolution has been researched till now and there is no news about mega evolution or gigantamax pokemons.

'Right now I can only touch evolutions of Eevee if I want to have some achievements as mega evolution and gigantamaxation involves huge forces of pokemon world. With my current self its death seeking behavior to get involved in them.'

Soon two years passed in blink of an eye. During these two years Sam learned a lot of info about the similarities and difference between game and real world.

First of all the species strength of all the pokemons is same as it was in the game. The major difference is that the shiny pokemons are stronger than there counterpart but it is not clear by how much as shiny pokemons are rare itself.

Sam can take care of pokemons in lab backyard , he can also help Professor Oak in his research. Today he is going to propose his theory for evolution of Eevee to Professor Oak.

He has nearly figured out how to make Eevee evolve into other types with the help of system. Theoretically Eevee can evolve in any type as he wants some achievements in research field before traveling.

"Professor , please see this. This is something I have been working on lately." said Sam. " Oh, Sam let me take a look at what you have been secretly doing. Hmm, this.. this.. this.. did you really write it Sam.", "Yes , Professor I think that evolution of Eevee is due to its genetic instability and fire stone , water stone and thunder stone is only a way to convert the genes of Eevee."

"If what you wrote in this theory can be proved than you will really be doing a great contribution to the research field but how much are you sure about this theory." said Professor Oak.

"Professor , I am 90% sure about this theory but rest still needs to be varified experimentally. I have a few suggestions about how to repair Eevee's genetic instability other than using evolution stones. For example we can keep Eevee in a snow mountain and train it there as the ice energy present there might affect it , similarly in deep forest huge grass energy might also work so that we can get a ice and grass type evolution of Eevee."

"Ok I will ask my old friends to do these experiments and if they are successful then the benefits are needless to say , you can get the certificate of ȧssistant professor based on it." said Professor Oak.

"Really Professor , that's great." said Sam. " If you can become an ȧssistant professor then you would be the youngest to become one. And I can also brag to those old fogies about you." said Professor Oak.

"Sam Sam , your mother is calling you back home urgently." said Ash as he came running from outside. " What's the matter Ash?" , " Sam's father's Charizard is going to give birth today."

"Ah, I totally forgot about this , Professor I will go and come back tomorrow." said Sam and he ran out at full speed. Professor Oak watched him running out and once again looked at the papers Sam gave him and then went to contact the league about this matter.
