The night sky was full of stars and so quiet.

After Georgi received the order from Joshua, he immediately set off to observe the movements of the nine-tailed fox clan leader.

On the first day, the nine-tailed fox clan leader was very busy with all the matters in the village.

At night, he was also much more diligent than any other person in the village.

Georgi understood this very well. After all, he had seen the way Joshua had been working over the last few months.

After many days, Georgi had confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the nine-tailed fox clan leader.

Early in the morning, Joshua woke up early because there were too many people on the bed. There were a total of five people squeezed into one tiny bed.

After he got up, Joshua tried his best to move out of bed and not wake them as he put on his clothes and went into the living room.

He took out the leftovers from yesterday and heated them up, before making a cup of tea from the tea leaves that Malina had specially prepared for him.

After breakfast, Joshua immediately went to the police station, looking for Georgi to prepare for their morning training.

However, he found a problem. Georgi was unexpectedly not here today and their training had been put on hold.

“Did you drink too much with Alger after finishing the training?”

Alger, who was far away, sneezed after he said this. “Who is it! Who’s talking bad about me!”

With no other choice, Joshua had to take the place of Georgi and lead the new students to do morning training.

After completing the morning training, whether Georgi had appeared or not, Joshua went straight to his residence to look for him.

After walking around, he found nothing. The weapons and equipment in the room were all gone.

He came to a large open-air market located in the center of Puba Village. There were peddlers everywhere, filled with demi-humans who were selling on the street.

Joshua walked to the edge of the surrounded construction site and found that the land level had been completed. They had entered the construction stage.

Alger was wearing a hard hat and was directing the construction.

Joshua immediately greeted him. “Alger, is the situation going well?”

Hearing the shouts, Alger immediately walked over. “Village Chief Joshua, everything is going well. Today, I’m just helping out a bit. From tomorrow onwards, there’s nothing for me to do.”

“That’s good for you then!”

“I’m just going out for a walk. You don’t have to worry about me.”

After saying that, Joshua turned around and left, preparing to go home for lunch.

Before he reached home, he met Georgi who was hurrying on his way.

“Georgi! I’m here.”
