Chapter 492 - Revenge 493: Were Sick And Was Dying

Name:REBORN: Revenge Author:C_J_Taganna
"That's nonsense!" A certain reporter who heard that said. "I mean look at the corner over there. Aren't they a member of the Coleman family? This must mean that the Coleman family is finally going to announce who will the successor of the family."

In most rich families, when the successor of the family is going to be announced, most members of the family are not happy about it. And the people who are at a certain corner are definitely not happy. For him, his conclusion made much more sense than the union of the Robertsons and the Colemans.

"Maybe you're right..." Somehow, listening to that reasoning make much more sense.

After a minute of discussing their assumed conclusion, the door burst wide open. Everyone looks in that direction and all of them have all sorts of expressions on their faces. The reporters who have been intently been trying to find any dirt to ruin the Coleman family has this shocked expression on their faces. It has been years since they last saw him, but he is easily recognizable.

"No way. Am I seeing this wrong? Or this is real?"

While some reporters are having a hard time trying to guess who is the man next to Mary. They even got to the point that the man next to Mary is her lover.

The members of the Coleman family, on the other hand, some of them have a scowl on their faces. They are not willing to welcome Arion back

They have no idea what really happened to Arion, and they don't want to know. Arion, who left his responsibilities years ago, should not have been allowed to take over the family business once again.

'How can Marcus let his son take over again? This should not have been allowed.' One of them inwardly said.

Despite all the stares Arion is receiving, it didn't seem to be affected by it at all. From one person's point of view, it seems that Arion is more like ignoring everyone and just waltz his way in front of the crowds.

"Well, isn't this quite a shock to everyone," Arion said with a smirk plastered on his face. His expression looks so cold, to the point that it sends shivers to everyone who saw it.

If there is one more thing that most people remember about Arion, that would be the fact that he always wears a cold expression whenever he is out in the public. Seeing him in front of them wearing that same expression, all most reporters believe that this man in front of them is the real deal.

Soon after, Arion gave his speech. He told everyone that from here on out, he will be taking over the company once again. "...since I have a very busy schedule today. I only have less than twenty minutes to answer your questions. So please, start asking now."

Truthfully, appearing in this press conference is the only schedule Arion has for this day. He only said that so that he can leave this place right away and continue investigating their ongoing mission.

As soon as everyone heard that, the reporters immediately raised their hands up. All of them are desperate for their question to be answered.

Looking around the room, Arion noticed one reporter who doesn't even seem like he is as desperate as everyone else. Having his attention caught by him, Arion points at him and said, "You, what's your question."

"Years ago, everyone, including your family, believed that you are dead. So, Mr. Coleman, my question for you is, why did you suddenly disappeared and pretended to be dead? Or is it that you and your family are facing some kind of feud, then they decided to fake your death so that they can get rid of you, is that it?"

In just one glance at this person, Arion can tell that he is not just an ordinary reporter. Aside from wanting answers from him, this reporter has some kind of motives. Arion has no idea what it is, but for now, he would like to know play along with this reporter's game.

"Such nonsense. My family didn't decide on that. In fact, it is me who decided to disappear. As for what reason, I was in an urge of wanting to travel in places that I have never been to."

Mary silently scoffed at the lie Arion just said to the reporter. Traveling is one of the things that Arion hates the most. If possible, he would like to stay in one place at all times.

The reporter's eyes squinted. From the tone of his voice to his expression, Arion seems to be not lying to them, the reporter is not believing any of Arion's words, there is nothing that he could say to prove it.

"If you wanted to travel, then why go to the point of saying that you are dead?" Most people in the room started to wonder that as well. It is only traveling, but revealing the news that he is dead while he is traveling is quite far fetched. "Did you decided on that because you never intended to come back, is that it, Mr. Coleman?"

Although it is him who decided to play along, Arion is now starting to get annoyed by the questions he is receiving. While trying to hold back his temper, Arion spoke, "I was sick. There was a chance to die. Not waiting for it to happen, I convinced my family to announced such news. Now that I'm not sick anymore and far away from dying, I decided to come back."

While he was talking, Arion was signaling his wife. A signal that says that she should do something before he loses his temper and say something that could give them problems later on.

With a sigh, Mary went beside her husband and said, "I'm sorry everyone. Your questions will be answered later on. There is some urgent matter that my husband and I must do right away."

Without waiting for anybody to say something, both Mary and Arion waltz their way out of the room. Some of the reporters tried to approach them, but thankfully, the guards were on time to stop the reporters.

Before leaving the room, Arion glances at the reporter who's been trying to push his temper. 'There is something fishy about that guy.' He inwardly said.

After getting out of that place, Mary pinched Arion's cheeks. "Out of all excuses, why did you say that you were sick and was dying from it?"

To say something like that in front of the media is not the right action. Once the article is released, everyone will doubt Arion's excuses and it's going to be a headache when people start to dig deep to find out the truth.

"My patience was running out and at that time, that's the only excuse that I've got." After they went inside the car, that was the moment Arion realize that his excuse was the worst one he had ever said.

"For goodness sake, Arion." Mary is now frustrated. "Why do I feel like you're doing this on purpose?"

While Mary is scolding his husband, back to where the press conference was, the reporter from earlier approached an elder from the Coleman family.

"Excuse me, Sir." He said.

The elder turns around and saw him. He recognizes this person right away. 'This is the reporter from earlier. Is he approaching me for answers now? How desperate.'

"Yes? How may I help you?" Despite that elder's disliking to him, the elder still maintained his expressionless face. He would like to see what kind of show this reporter will give to him.

"Since earlier, it seems like you didn't like the idea of Arion coming back. Would you mind telling me what your thoughts are?" Just one statement out of the Elder's mouth, he can make an article that can cause a big stir in Arion Coleman's life. 'It will such an interesting show to watch.'

The Elder coldly looks at him and said, "Do you think I'm stupid enough to tell you anything? Whether or not I dislike the idea of Arion coming back, it doesn't change the fact that we are family. And since we are a family, dirt on him will reflect in me too, after all, Arion and I share the same last name."

After he said that, he turned around and left. He felt like if he stayed longer, this particular reporter will manage to get a statement out of him. With this type of reporter, it's best to avoid to them. 'He looks so simple, yet gives off the feeling that he's a cunning type of person.'

The reporter watches the Elder walk away and he couldn't help but scowl. "Is it too hard for them to give me something good to write about?"

All he wanted is to write a good article, and yet these Colemans are way too good in keeping their mouth shuts.
