"I agree with everything that we have decided upon today, I don't have any discomfort in proceeding with it for sure." He Yiyuan was the first to voice his approval. "I have to thank you Advisor Xu. If it wasn't for you, how could we have achieved this kind of understanding?"

His kind comment was not made simply because he wanted to curry favor with Xu Jiaqi, but rather because he genuinely admired her, who was able to think in a fast speed akin to none when dealing with the tough topics that they had to bring up for the sake of their major moves.

Xu Jiaqi was logical, concise, and decisive. If he had to name a person who could be considered his equal, it would be her. And only her.

She was so perfect that his standards were raised to impossible levels, making him unable to look away and search for another potential partner. He didn't know whether this was a blessing or not, because truthfully, he didn't need any woman in his life to rule.

If Xu Jiaqi was by his side, it would be the best outcome to ever happen, but seeing as to how resolute Xu Jiaqi was in keeping her promises, the chances of that happening was zero.

"Yes.. It should not be a huge burden if we advance like this, with the help of everyone." Another representative joined in, hints of surprise clear in his eyes because of how fast they managed to solve the matters. "The same goes for me. I came here a bit worried, but my old friend He Yiyuan looked particular murderous when I almost rejected his offer!" Laughing hard, another opinion chimed in.

The representatives were all leaders of big groups- individual ones with large power. They were all influential, and had lots of encounters with He Yiyuan before.

If He Yiyuan was not here, this cooperation would not be possible. Naturally, Xu Jiaqi felt quite thankful for this convenient chance to prove herself.

"..It's a great honor on our part as well. I would have never expected big brothers to come and join me like this without brother He. Then, off to a good cooperation! I hope that we will get along well for the rest of the time we are going to spend from now on. Please take care of me!" Xu Jiaqi responded with the same amount of enthusiasm.

Synergy was important in plans like this. She couldn't move in a haphazard manner since her enemy was still much larger than herself, so borrowing the hands of another is the most suitable plan if she wanted to achieve her goal fast enough.

Clapping sounds resounded throughout the entire room as everyone was pleased, going home with great anticipation for the upcoming events.

"I must say, I'm really troubled that you don't have a speck of interest towards my Land of Xi." He Yiyuan chuckled as he approached Xu Jiaqi, being the only one who hasn't left the room aside from Xie Yongrui.

"..It's not that I don't have any interest. If that was the case, I would have never agreed to spend my precious time there." Xu Jiaqi answered. "Alas, we are going to become comrades whether we like it or not. Only by doing this kind of thing will we be able to change the world's momentum at once."

Changing the people's minds was also a major point. It was a relatively similar tactic with the ones she used to usurp the Holy Land and the Empire last time. She skillfully inserted her influenced into scattered places, gathering favor from all parts of the world.

The Empire won't regard us as that big of a threat, but if it's the Land of Xi's King, personally.. What do you think?" Xie Yongrui answered in Xu Jiaqi's stead, looking at him like he was an idiot.

A clear displeasure was shown, as he knew that He Yiyuan purposely said that to try to incite disharmony.

"...Ha! How cruel, I didn't think that you would say it that way. When the time comes, don't blame me if I drag you down." He Yiyuan said, faking haughtiness.

"Could you afford to do that? I'm not an enemy you should make light of."

"...I, out of all people, would know that the best, Qiqi." He Yiyuan stressed the nickname the woman had, 'Qiqi'. It rolled of his tongue so well, and reminded him of all the times she had boldly scolded him, the esteemed King.

She was so brilliant. So dazzling that.. it became his biggest loss when he let go.

He had traces of regret on his face, but he didn't sow it for long before he turned around to leave the couple alone.

As the vicinity was devoid of any other presences, Xie Yongrui hugged Xu Jiaqi from behind, lying on the crook of her neck.

"Qiqi, when you were there, did he confess to you?" He asked.

"Yes." Xu Jiaqi replied instantly. She had enough trust in Xie Yongrui that he wasn't dumb and foolish. Rather than lying and risking the credibility of their relationship, she just went ahead and spoke about the truth.

"I know you declined, or else you wouldn't be here by my side." Xie Yongrui pinched the tip of her nose and sighed. "But.. Haa, that man still hasn't given up on you. Should I do something?"

"Why would you? He's a very useful man, and important part of our plan."

"I didn't say that I was going to do anything to He Yiyuan." Xie Yongrui released her from the hug, but instantly twirled her around, a coquettish grin showing up as he kissed her neck, drawing a long, straight stripe of saliva as his tongue glided against her skin.

Xu Jiaqi blinked a couple times.

"..You're getting bolder. Is this the result of my own teachings? Wow." Xu Jiaqi smirked, playing into the tone Xie Yongrui created and grabbing the back of his head with one hand, using her other hand to touch him in separate places.

A few light moans appeared here and there as they began to bask in each other's loving touches. Xie Yongrui was tempted even further with Xu Jiaqi's generous bodily response. His hands travelled through her supple skin, leaving noticeable pressure.

Lifting and prying apart her legs to dig deeper, Xie Yongrui lowered down her underwear and reached her flower cave. He began to tease her with his long fingers, inserting them and playing around in a circular motion.

Xu Jiaqi's body was sensitive, a layer of honey instantly gushed out and coated Xie Yongrui's digits. 

With a scissoring technique, he began to loosen up her accepting hole.

"Someone might come in here.. Let's move to another place. It's not good if we are seen in such a professional scene." Xu Jiaqi said, tugging on the hem on Xie Yongrui's clothes. She shuddered under his touches, but she still hadn't forgotten where they were. She had brought a handkerchief with her and used it to muffle her moans, but there was no telling if somebody was going to enter and discover them indulging in this kind of action.

In response, the man bit her lips, aiming to silence her worries.

"..Stop, Rui. We can take this.. somewhere else." Xu Jiaqi pushed him off, smoothing out some wrinkles in her clothes, trying to restore her refined state.

Xie Yongrui pouted, pulling her in for a kiss one more time before moving backwards to tidy up his own clothes, giving in to her requests.

"The little King is unsatisfied?" Xu Jiaqi glanced at him flirtatiously, wanting to push him to his limits.

"Qiqi.. can we just announce that we are together to the entire world?" Xie Yongrui mused as he finally finished his clean up, looking just as presentable as ever.

It turns out that before the meeting was held, Xie Yongrui had already somewhat mingled with the rest of them. The topic of Xu Jiaqi going to Xi and spending five years there, bringing plentiful benefits to the prosperous land was brought up. The capable representatives praised her abilities, which made Xie Yongrui elated and proud.

However, with it, they also nudged on He Yiyuan and Xu Jiaqi's ambiguous relationship. Right, ambiguous. That was what it seemed like to the public. After all, who would just let a woman like Xu Jiaqi, with unknown origins, come to Xi and be given an opportunity to soar? He also let her return after five years.

Very, very strange. It wasn't out of his expectations that they questioned whether the King of Xi and Xian Ruo's Advisor had a special bond behind their work backgrounds. However, hearing it straight was still a bit.. jealousy-inducing.
