Chapter 87 - What The Fuck Just Happened?

In the parking lot, when they reached Lu Jun-hui's driver was nowhere to be seen. Annoyed, Lu Jun-hui dialed his personal driver's number not getting the phone answered, Lu Jun-hui cut the line just as he was about to call the security guard. A message came from the driver.

Before Lu Jun-hui could click open the message to read. A man came running towards them, his clothes slightly disoriented. He rushed forward tucking his shirt into waist.

"Who are you?" asked Lu Jun-hui.

"Boss, your driver for today. I was asked to take Liwei place. He told me he'll inform you about me." The man bowed his head. Lu Jun-hui frowned, opening the message he read the text, that his driver had an emergency at the hospital.

Lu Jun-hui began to inquire about the man checking his driving license and reviewing while asking all sorts of questions about him and his driving experience. He can't just let any random driver drive his expensive car.

Li Na was lost in her thought when from the corner of the eyes she saw something unusual. Her eyes snapped at the man's face answering to Lu Jun-hui's inquiring. The junior ȧssistant stood at a distance near the car's door, given chance ready to open the door.

She removed the hairpin unclasped a strand of her silky ashes hair, as soon as the hairpin slipped her hair fall on her temples like a veil. Her impulses were booting high alarming her of the danger. Her eyes roamed around the lit but the empty parking lot with only a few cars parked sweeping her gaze over every corner and car.

The man answering to Lu Jun-hui began to sound a little irritated and impatient. A tinge of frustration in his voice as he took a long to answer.

She clenched the hand into a tight fist before breaking the hairpin into two pieces forming a sharp end. Tips edgy enough to easily prick into the delicate skin, brushing her thumb over the keen points she looked at the man in front of Lu Jun-hui. Her doubtful gaze on his hands turns decisively sharp.

The man seems to have noticed some movements he turn to look over Li Na's side and saw the blazing eyes of the girl as he was failing to provide the asked information on the security terms asked by Lu Jun-hui.

Just as she was about to raise her hand to stab the soft spot of his throat, suddenly the man grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards himself. His other hand swung back grabbing the gun tucked on his waist. A flash of anger and coldness passed through her eyes, utterly displeased with his touch, two nut-brown eyes narrowed wildly.

To the man's surprise, flicking out with her wrist, she stabbed the hairpin into his beating artery penetrating the thick walls instantly oozing a creek of blood from his wrist.

The man ġrȯȧnėd when she pressed it deeper before twisting to tear the skin making a deep and wide cut, slitting his wrist.

In a fraction of second, she twirled his wrist backside up into a reverse grip freeing her wrist from the man's sturdy hold. Before the man could react further, Li Na's left hand grabbed his other hand holding the gun.

Ignoring the bleeding wrist, the man got extremely violent and furious when she touched his handgun as he raised his blood streaming hand like water to shake off the blood and shove the girl away.

Bang! The gunshot fired, shattering the camera at a corner into pieces of shreds. The sound made the man look at his hand holding the gun, his eyes widened in shock as he was sure he didn't pull the triggered she pressed his pointer finger.

She didn't give him a chance to recover and stomped down her heels as hard as she could, stabbing his feet harshly, exerting more strength grinding and twisting like crushing a mosquito under her heels, the man instantly lost his body balance while trying to step back.

Till that time, the other man came forward standing behind Lu Jun-hui and has pulled out his gun and now pointing on Lu Jun-hui's head from the back. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, Li Na shouted looking behind the man, " Watch Out!" as if warning him, his eyes stretched but he didn't turn back, but his fingers quivered holding the gun thinking of security behind him but there was none, he opened to issue a threat of having Lu Jun-hui at his gunpoint but then Bang!

Those two seconds of hesitation was enough time for Li Na to nailed a bullet in between his brows. 'There were no footsteps. Idiot!' she muttered under her breath. Sure enough, they were not here to kill but to lure the target out of the den. Moreover, they both were targetting Lu Jun-hui, not Li Na.

Thud! the man's dead body crashed on to the ground. Lu Jun-hui stood frozen, his ears playing a long beeping tone.

The man bending in pain, saw his friend's dead body collapsed, still his was gun in his hand, he was utterly horrified seeing her accurate aim, she did hit her target twice just as he ċȯċked his head to look at the woman still holding his hand and the gun then bam, "Ahh!" he ġrȯȧnėd in sheer pain her elbow bone broke his nose bridge, tinting his face with own hot blood.

The time between the first gunshot and last fired was hardly six to seven seconds when the security men rushed hurriedly, after hearing the first gunshots laced with weapons and armors, firearms pointing forward reading to open fire. Amidst all several footsteps, Li Na took a step towards Lu Jun-hui.

"Lu Jun-hui, are you alright?" Li Na asked worriedly. Seeing his paralyzed expression he doesn't seem shocked but deadly shock-like traumatized, encountering gunshots for the first time. Obviously, a bullet just passed by whisking so close to his right ear and hitting the man behind him. Li Na can understand his lost state.

"W-W-What the fuċk,"

" J-just happened?" Stunned, Lu Jun-hui stammered with wides eyes, his ears numb he can't hear anything acutely nor see clearly, his complete subconscious was dazed. All he remembered was the driver all of sudden pulled Li Na and shot the security camera then he felt the gun on his head before Li Na shouted and Bang! everything after that was a long beep. It was too quick and swift movements for him to grasp.

Inside Lu Jianjun's office, Lu Jianjun was flipping through the pages of the file, all of sudden the two landline phones and his private cell phone, as well as the working cell number on his table, began ringing one after another within two seconds.

Sound of several nonstops ringing and vibration buzzing filled in his office. The man looked up from his file, discretely sweeping his gaze over the table when Ethan also rushed over with a phone in his hand at his door.
