A good amount of time passed unnoticed, as they remained silent for a while, standing there.

Li Na thought a little before she said faintly. "Lu Jianjun, although I don't know how to pacify a child. I still, don't want you to take all the burden for him. Don't you think Little Tiger is too unstable? And he relies only on you." immediately realizing something peculiar, she said.

"Oh, Don't take it otherwise, I'm not complaining or questioning you in any way. I was just..."

Lu Jianjun lowered his lashes, staring at the black wristwatch he wore on the hand holding the doorknob. Then he silently, shut the door before he turns to face Li Na.

Walking over to the long couch in the living area between their rooms. He sat there and lifted his head motioning her to take the sit.

Unprepared, Li Na just looked at him for a few moments before she walked slowly while studying his face. She had expected him to shut the door on her face and ignore her. Or he would have just reminded her, of her own illness and weakness. To be open, she was feeling anxious and useless.

Deep inside, she was been critical for herself. That on what basis she had asked him.

In the past, Li Na was never part of their life because she had never done anything voluntarily or rightly, so now, she doesn't have any right to question them, specifically, not to Lu Jianjun.

Single parenting is not easy or a joke to crack when the other one is messing with the child's emotions.

In their case, she happened to be the troublemaker.

When she was sure that he wasn't angry or indifferent towards her, then she sat down on his front couch.

Lu Jianjun remained silent, patiently, waiting for her to speak.

When she couldn't make her mind to speak or found the right words not to involve any misunderstanding between them, so she sat there silently for some instants, seemingly debating something to herself, after which she looked at him with an unusual complex in her eyes.

"Do you really want to do this?" Suddenly, Lu Jianjun asked her.

Li Na blinked a few times. "To help you with Little Tiger? Then, yes. I want to..."

"Why?" Lu Jianjun restored instantly without bating his eyes.

Li Na was caught off guard."...Ah, why? because I also love him."

Shocked and puzzled, but Li Na was extremely unhappy with his words. They kind off nailed on her soft spot. Her feelings were questioned roughly.

After, all of her efforts and troubles. Is he blind? Either, he doesn't want to acknowledge her efforts behind all the yesterday's arrangements, she made herself without anyone's help, just to welcome Little Tiger back? Isn't she staying back in this manner when she had millions of other reasons to flee away and go after her personal goals and family? She chose this child. Wasn't all this evident enough

for her love?

But she couldn't tell him.

" If you don't know me, Mister Lu. Then, don't..." Li Na's temperament slowly began to raise but she has controlled herself.

Lu Jianjun didn't plan to hold back anything, " Then, what is your purpose of behind all this? Yesterday night, You willfully wore that blue dress?"

Li Na frowned in confusion.

What's wrong with blue? Does the dead Li Na also have some fetish over blue shade? That why he is ȧssociating with her faking amnesia or he is tricking me into something.

"So, I intentionally chose that dress, because I like the blue color," she replied doubtingly her voice low and slow.

" And all the dishes you cooked. Was that intentional too."

Li Na's frown deepened.

He even has a problem with yesterday's menu. " I asked Lu Junhui about Little Tiger's favorite food during our jog. You can ask him."

" Are you sure those were the only dishes you cooked. Nothing of the charts.", Li Na thought over as she had cooked a variety of them which wasn't for Little Tiger. She didn't reply to his question as she doesn't know about Li Na's choice. Did we also share the same favorite food?

This must be a coincidence.

Lu Jianjun: "Ok, What about the books you read."

" Books? I just..."

"Don't say that you randomly picked those books and then you also generated the sudden interests to finish an entire book of thousand pages in two days, that too...without ȧssociating to their previous Volumes. I don't think a person with amnesia could just skim through pages and still remembers clearly.", he paused. " And if I ask you a question on any concept, I'm sure you can easily answer it. Without. any. confusion."

Although during her digging into Li Na's stuff, she had thoughtfully picked up those books. Those books were from Li Na's variety of book collection spectrum, mainly consisting of books on mathematics, architecture, science, literature, medicine, psychology and a few more.

This is the reason Mei-Xing couldn't guess Li Na's working field or her interests major. She's young and perhaps choosing a particular field. Naturally, she ȧssumed that she might be a part-time working student. So, it's obvious, she would be picked a book related to her, Mei-Xing's field of interest, and totally irrelevant to Li Na's preferences.

Was it a coincidence too?
