Chapter 42 - Peel Off The Skin

It was almost late in the evening, dark clouds were hovering above the sky, thunderous lightning flickering with loud growls of dense clouds. Soon, the heavy cloudburst began to shower ruthlessly.

At the same time, inside a speeding Maybach Exelero, rolling down the streets dashing through the rainwater has a similar ambiance inside the car when defied to outside pouring.

Thunderous...

A jerked up Li Na sat on the passenger seat, absentmindedly staring out of the window while watching everything along the road rushing back. Her mind was in absolute chaos. Not a while ago she learned about the bitter truth of their ambiguous relationship, and now they were, together, sharing the same brief space. Right now, Lu Jianjun was the last person on this planet Li Na wants to see or talk to. And all of sudden, he just steps in front of her. Just because he was taking her to meet Grandma Li, that she, nonchalantly accepted to go with him.

With the Little Tiger's existence, nothing remained as earlier. A lot of things has changed for Mei-Xing. Whatever she has planned for her future now it felt somewhat impossible. She never felt so unsure and doubtful in her entire life as if she was out of the world.

Before she could think or plan any further she needs to know more about Li Na's family. Who were her father and mother? Where are they? What do they do? At least she needs to know a few of the important person's in her life. She doesn't want to miss any one of the close persons, just the way she missed out on Little Tiger. As she was highly anticipating, that, maybe the old lady could be a good help for her.

Meanwhile, the journey felt like a never-ending road. Even the slightest movement from his driving side like changing the gears or his glances on rear-mirror was actually frustrating her to no avail.

Now, Lu Jianjun's mere presence was felt as endless torture to her. Whatever the fuċkɨnġ past, he and Li Na had was like a sickness to her. The more she thought about it, the more disgusting she felt towards him.

For a man like him, there are many mȧturė and beautiful women, he could have to satisfy himself, why does he have to do it with a teenager?

Doesn't he have a conscience to even think about once, before touching a small girl, on top of that, he actually, actually...did have ɨntėrċȯursė with her? What kind of pŀėȧsurė does he get from a little girl, which a grown woman won't be able to deliver to him? This is pathetic... why an adolescent?

And Why do pathetic men like him even exist in this world? The gritting of Li Na's teeth made Lu Jianjun throw a glance at her. He can sense her indifference towards him.

Li Na let out a heavy breath as she closed her eyes to stop tormenting herself. At the same time, she was not only feeling disgusting towards Lu Jianjun but also towards the dead Li Na. That crazy girl even gave birth to a child for him.

That innocent little child...

Li Na snorted disdainfully, at least Lu Jianjun adequately took care of the boy. Her eyes flew open while flashing the coldness. Unfortunately, now that Mei-Xing has become the mother of his child, so, the day she took over her position back, will be the last day for Lu Jianjun to see her child.

She just needs to find a way to convince her parent that she is Mei-Xing and everything will fall into place. Afterward... all that's left was to roast those fuċkɨnġ bastards.

Obviously, with Little Tiger's existence, she doesn't know how to approach Zhang Han. Previously, she was planning different ways just to see her boyfriend once but now...everything was shattered into pieces. What should she say to him? Firstly, she came back to him when she couldn't have a child and now she had to return with a kid. Mei-Xing herself felt like a joke. Zhang Han deserves better, much better, than, what she was giving to him.

He may feel like she is testing his love but it's his love that's testing her each time...

Thinking about love...

Li Na's finger tightly clutches on her left wrist. From the very first day, Mei-Xing was reborn and she saw that serene like, image of Lu Jianjun surfaced on her mind when she read the embedded tattoo on her wrist, she could guess that this dead girl was high over heels for this man. Maybe she would have happily accepted his advances. Anyways, the dead Li Na was a growing girl but Lu Jianjun, he could be acted a like an ȧduŀt. What was his age?

"How old were you?" Li Na couldn't restrain as she asked him disdainfully.

Shocked, Lu Jianjun couldn't understand her purpose and the question she asked. His brows frown slightly as he asked. "What?"

Slowly, Li Na turned to face him, whereas trying, not to kill him. As it wasn't her right to punish or judge whatever he did, one thing for sure, they did it together.

Meanwhile, her eyes shooting daggers at him, to bore her hatred but his vacant eyes were so deep that she felt like she was falling into that black hole. No, nothing was beautiful or charming about him, nothing but frightening and scary as hell.

Who says she didn't witness the hell after being dead, he was sitting right beside her and the torture of having a body, they used for his pŀėȧsurės was giving her unbearable torture that she just wants to peel off the skin on her body and rip off his name engraved on her wrist.

Her intense eyes struck Lu Jianjun like a lightning bolt. She was looking at him with the eyes filled with filth and disdain. His pupil's shrunk sharply as though trying to suppress his anger but he couldn't hold her blazing gaze.

"Before Little Tiger was born, how old were you?" Li Na said in a frosted tone.

The moment Li Na was left alone and collapsed on her knees was also the moment Lu Jianjun's clean image was trash into pieces. His image wasn't a handsome man but of a disastrous beast. The kind of man she hates from her core. The type she wouldn't wince before executing him. He was giving her creeps as if there was no trace of humanity in him.

Isn't she was too naive to judge him? Having a crush on him? Fuck those feelings...No ways, she could allow her heart to soften for a man like him.

Lu Jianjun's knuckles turned pale white tightly clenching on the steering wheel and he shifted the gears while he pressed on the gas pedal accelerating the speed as he ferociously turned back to look on the road. His jaw was clenched together but he couldn't utter a word in his defense.
