355 7.83 Unveiling My Level 13 With More Than 18,600 Points Per Sta

The second and third battle was also being observed by Hugo as we advanced into nearly deserted ruins of a graveyard and the Assassin made a report of the whole situation before coming back to quickly form up the necessary formations as we advanced...

"Watch out...! Traps inbound...!" I shouted as we advanced slowly and took cover against the towering tombs and hollowed burial grounds as we watched skeleton soldiers, skeleton warriors, swords wielding, axes welding, shields and spears wielding skeleton emerges from crypts.

These were easily brought down by the Assassins and ranged attacks from the Archers, Amazonian Fighters, Mages, Druids and Necromancer as the rest of the Swordsman and Barbarians just hacked and slashed their way through.

It was almost a walk in the park when suddenly hordes of these skeletons came up from the rear and it made Hugo nearly jumped out of his skins as he was not anticipating a rear defensive and offensive force from the skeletons.

"SHIELDS UP AND FALL BACK" I shouted while a few choruses within earshot that enabled everyone to move 30% faster to protect the rear end and reversed the whole formation again.

We had cleared the rear and settled back and wondered what we had been given a reverse role again and this time we covered our rear tracks with ice spikes and ice walls from the Mages, Druids and Necromancer.

"Assassins, KITE...." I commanded and they rushed forward and feigned injury as they walked the flanks and brought those enemies forth and initiated the attacks when they had kited the enemies far from their safety zones.

"SHADOW CLONES..." I shouted and several Doppelganger moved up and slashed the emerging enemies from their crypts. A few exploding chests sounded and the Doppelganger vanished into the air and another half dozen were deployed.

It was a cat and mouse game and by 15 minutes, the place was littered with bones and all their weapons and Armor was deposited into my storage bin when suddenly their Skeleton King emerges from underground with the elemental skeletal forces that were hiding underneath our feet.

That's where Hell broke loose with barrages of Arrows, frostbite, hailstorm, death from above, axes slashes, swords strikes and other spells and strike attacks were deployed and within 3 minutes everything was subdued.

There were some injuries to the adventurers and that only amounted to bumps, scrapes, scratches and other superficial wounds. They were taken aback and surprised at the last attack that was totally unanticipated.

Fortunately, with their new skills, they were able to gain an upper hand after being numb for at least 10 seconds due to the 'Fear Factor' that the Skeleton King had cast when he rose from the ground.

"Oh hell... We were surrounded a minute ago and you guys took care of it like nobody's business. These are Level 81 to 100 and there 160 odd of them against your army of 80...!!" said Hugo as he dusted himself off when he fell into one of the empty graveyards the moment the earth shook and everyone was almost swept off their own feet and stumbled.

After we had exited from the teleportal, we tend to our injuries as some paramedics were scrambled with their first aid kits and came to check on us. They made sure we were ready to battle the last party raid and made a report for the Chief Medical Officer that all the men are fit for combat.

The Chief Medical Officer gave me a report for the health and wellbeing of all the 80 adventurers and rode off in his ambulance back to the General hospital.

The rest of the adventurers broke out some MRE (meals ready to eat) and shared their biscuits baked beans and chocolate with the rest of their members and drank hot cranberry tea that the Elder had somehow brought along with her.

"Don't mind me... Just passing through to see how is my little cutie pie is doing... Hehehe." the elder said as she passed a bottomless pot of cranberry tea around as everyone filled their mugs and rested before beginning the last assault.

"Robin, my friend. I'd like to take back my words since I've said that these party raids is not comparable to boss raids. At this level, it's almost like sending our men to the slaughterhouse and it's even harder than it seems. Flaming Arrows might not even last 10 minutes and we would expect heavy casualties."

"Don't worry Boss Hugo... I don't take it to heart. Actually, we are here to Level up on our skills. Hang on I ask one of the adventurers here. Our young Mage, can you tell us your level and skills level for Juggernaut?" I casually asked one Mage that was lying on his sides and relaxing like it was a picnic for everyone.

"Oh, Sir Robin... Sorry I was just lazing about. All of the adventurers had reached Level 7 and our skill levels had been raised at least 30% across the board. One more of this battle would raise it to another 2 to 5% and we can end our day."

"Level 7, young Mage? Skill levels at 30%? I know you are not speaking in codes but even at this level you seemed more formidable than our level 9 Mage." exclaimed Hugo wide-eyed as he was referred to a Mage as an example. The Mage was wearing his usual garb over which he had the 8 pieces of Studded Leather armour.

"REVEAL your stats, Young Mage and show it to Mr Hugo here from the Flaming Arrows." I casually inquired the young mage and as soon as he revealed his stats, Hugo's mouth was wide open as he saw that his damage rating was more than 3,000 points.

"This can't be...! He looks so simple with a wooden staff in his hands. And the same Studded Leather armour he had on just like the rest. Damage rating above 3,000 for a Level 7 mage? If all of your men are having these rating, how about yourself, Robin..."

"Please... REVEAL it to me so I could satisfy my curiosity once and for all... "Hugo implored as he grabbed my arm and looked deep in my eyes and he was so close that I could see his day-old whiskers growing on his upper lip."

"Just this once and only for 3 seconds," I said as I REVEAL myself and HIDDEN back the stats. The moment Hugo had seen just my Strength attribute and my Level, he fell to the floor in a kneeling position, holding on to my knees and was frothing at his mouth like a mug of A&W float.

"18,600 Points based on strength alone without wielding a weapon, based on types of equipment, accessories and Level 13 Humble Master... I'm sorry for belittling you before, Master Robin..."

"Haiya... Please stand up. You're embarrassing me, you know. I haven't even passed Cheng 1 and it would be ages before I would hit Level 14. I don't know what else I could do to surpass the Cheng levels. Looks like I'd be around in this Level for some month soon."

I said as I picked Hugo off the ground by pulling on his full plate armour and he was damn heavy I tell you. Stupid full plate armour, once you fall you become an overturned tortoise. Stupid heavy metal Armor...

"One more to go, buddy... Later you can review your GoPro videos and see what you need to improve your team. I guess you might need something like 20k gold coins to start with."

"That's a small sum to pay. I knew it is based on a dollar to a single gold coin, so gather up some rich fat sonofabitch pay2win kids and have them divide the 20k to get the necessary spells for all your men."

"You mean you spent 20k gold coins for your men to have additional passive skills and spells?" Hugo asked as he heard about the 20k gold coins that need to be invested.

"Err... Actually, it was like 250k gold coins or more for the upgrades, enhancements, refinements, accessories, weapons and armours. Just their coat of arms with 5 diamond sockets already cost me 10k gold coins for the 80 adventurers."

"250k gold coins? Where the hell I'm going to dig this money from, Robin...? You are not a pay2win sonofabitch, and does the rest of your army... All of you are free2play adventurers and yet you have so much money to splurge...! How do you do it?!?!

"Simple, build up your fortune being a trader first, skimp on spending unnecessarily and battle your own battles and once you are ok, start small and upgrade them as you go along."

"I have about 180 or more men than you... Most are pay2win and no one is willing to sacrifice for the band. Should I restart from scratch? Disband everyone and then restart back to a noobie Level 1?"

"It sure looks that way, discuss with the rest since you will lose everything, not sure if you would lose those inside the storage spaces. Ask the Game Master, who is also the announcer for the arrangement for this party and boss raids. He will give you the best solution." I advised and felt sad to lose a friend who had made a wrong path in the way of an adventurer.

If only there's a guideline on how to properly form a band and party, then these people won't be in such a mess they can't get out from.
