208 6.2 The Next Order Of Business

During lunch, I looked through my sketchpad and found everything that I had written down was still there. Thank God...! I thought that this series I would have to start from scratch again... So right now, I have to regard my Leap as successful and began to continue the life if Himura Kenshin.

I looked at Shippo and his oversized sketchpad the was almost 4 to 5 times his height. "Shippo, you can manage to draw on that sketchpad soon? It's so big... How can you manage?"

Shippo looked me midway from his lunch and said that he would use a clean cloth to slide over as he draws. This is to prevent the sketchpad from being smeared. He would do a rough sketch first and then would be adding the shades et cetera. A single drawing like this would be completed in a week for his father's original form as a fox.

I nodded as he explained how he would be drawing and since the sketchpad is large, it would normally take him about a week to complete the project.

"Himura, what would you be doing here in this town while we're gone for expeditions? Won't you get bored or something while we're all gone?"

Kohaku asked as he missed the same age travelling buddy when on the last expedition. As he had his sister, the feelings were different as there's no one of the same age to talk and fool around.

"I would be busy here for the next month or so. This little town needs me and Hiko-sama, the execom members as well as the Plant Managers. We would be having another 24 warehouses on top of the existing 12 this we have, we would be promoting a total of 216 employees to become the Plan Supervisors and Assistants."

"Once the warehouses are in place, we would be relocating the production lines in a cluster of 3 per lot. Then the recruitment of a total of 3600 more people for the line production employees. A total of 24 female cooks and assistants. 240 male support personnel and security guards."

"There will be a 2 storey dojo and 2 storey business conference buildings with spaces for dormitory and a 3 storey community building here. So we would be needing another 30 male support employees and 12 more female cooks."

"That would sum up to be approximately 6000 employees per 24 hours shift that includes the Youkai Taijiya members, cavalrymen, and the guards at the outpost. This number of employees would have covered the entire outermost residents and the surge if new residents as well."

"Wow...! 6000 employees? That's the whole number of working adults in the whole of the outermost residents! You really can manage all this alone?"

"Nothing is achievable without the assistance of Hiko-sama, the 4 Execom Members, the 6 Plant Managers and also the 216 Plant Supervisors and Assistants."

"A lion can stand in a mountaintop alone, but it would need an army to hold it in place. I can't be doing this alone, I need the assistance from all those around me to make it possible."

"Just like you, Sango-Chan... You need to have some people backing you up in case you meet with a nemesis that you can't face alone, right? No one can achieve something alone and many hands make the work lighter."

Sango and the rest nodded in comprehension and was so surprised earlier when I mentioned the total amount of residents that make up the total number of employees.

I took my sketchpad and wrote:

I made 4 copies while others watched what I had written. Once I'm done, I gave each one to the passing messengers and told them to announce it to the outermost residents who are unemployed as well as those who had just migrated here. I paid some silvers to all 5 messengers which I had taken from the charity box.

Once they had gotten their services paid, the messengers went about and asked every household in the outermost district who were not working to come and register to be part of Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha.

I went to the house and took out 3 lined pads that looked like the modern-day foolscap paper and got my reed pen ready beside me. Each page has about 36 lines and I separate them up with a wooden ruler and made 3 columns that would consist of their names and age.

On the cover, I wrote in bold for each shift so the would-be employees would be assigned to their shifts and would be notified of the commencement date. Since everyone knows each other in the district, I would put an asterisk next to the names of those new immigrants only.

The members of the Wonder 8 looked at me in amazement as I managed to organise my work even through lunch. Once I had set aside the foolscap pad, I continued my lunch and I smirked at them when they looked at me.

Hiko-sama who was sitting beside me tapped my shoulders and poured me a cup of yumeshu and I finished up my lunch and burped in front of them without covering up my mouth. Hahahaha. Damn rude...! I then took a sip of the yumeshu and sighed outwardly.

Since I was assigned back to this body and era in this Leap, might as well put the business back in order and on the fast track...!

I summoned Kayu-San, the head of buildings and constructions as well as the foreman for this humongous project. He came hurriedly as he had just completed his lunch and asked me if I needed anything from him.

"Kayu-San, how was the construction of the houses for the relocation of the residents here to their new place? Could you kindly give us a progress report on that and the usual stuff as well?"

"Ah, Young Master. We have 20 men assigned to each plot of land and had gotten 240 men working in the 12 projects at this moment and also about 120 men working on 4 plot of lands for the new development simultaneously."

"The 240 men working on the relocation plot would complete their work around 3 days time as they would be doing some touch-up works as requested by the relocated residents. Once they had completed the project, the next thing they would do is to demolish the houses, clear the land and make a layout for the 3 warehouses, a quad outhouse, an outdoor seating for the meal area and prep and dirty kitchen."

"Once the workers start their work on the intended plot of land for your restructuring of the expansion, it would take a week or less for the completion. Rest assured, the work would be completed in due time."

"I also need a few buildings to be built on this plot of land... A dojo on this end, a 2 storey conference business building, and a 3 storey community building in this plot of land. This land, however, would be left empty except for the water tower that needs to be shifted. There will be a marked area for a small plantation plot within this area."

I pointed to Kayu-San of the projected area and to leave it blank first as the construction of the warehouse has to be prioritised. He acknowledged and would let me have a look at the blueprints of the intended houses that I want to be constructed for the dojo, conference business and community building.

He excused himself and went back to his projects and ushered the men to work faster since there would be more projects going on after the villas that the replicated residents were constructed.
