I opened up the sketchpad and discussed with Hiko-sama with the number of employees and their roles.

I checked and rechecked with Hiko-sama that our number of employees is growing and we should impart the skills to them to make the production line run smoothly. Since the moulds for the Karada Soap and the evaporating wooden tray that is commonplace in this era could be safely 'transported' from the Realm of Mind to this world.

"Kid, it seems we are a shortage of a few more workers which are 12 girls for the Kurin and Feroa Kurina, 6 for Karada Soap and 4 more for the workers in the machinist shop which he would the manpower himself. Here comes the owner from the kitchen supplies and see if he got a blender of some sort or not."

Seeing the owner who had came to ask how was the cauldron and to deliver a few more funnels for free and tiny brushes to clean the funnels with, Hiko-sama asked if they have any types of heavy-duty blenders to grind stuff into granules.

I drew a picture of an upright manual meat blender with the side crank and a disc with tiny holes on it for changing the size of the granules and he said that he has them in stock. There are smaller ones for the household and bigger ones for the heavy-duty market types to make patties and so on and he has stock for them.

He showed how big the sizes are and I need two of them and extra disc blades in case it became blunt. He told me the prices and I instructed to be brought here and I added 3 more cauldrons with their metal wrought Iron stands. I also asked for his assistance to inform the calligraphy printer owner to send the remaining labels to Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha. I told him the owner knows what they were.

He immediately went back to get the items and I told Hiko-sama that we would regularly make 2,000 Refined Iron and then send the moulding sets for the Karada Soap as well as the wooden evaporating trays for the Kurina and Feroa Kurina.

We both went into the warehouse and arranged the set up for the Kurina and Feroa Kurina for which the picnic benches were utilised. We placed the balance onion skin papers that would be turned into paper bags soon and placed 3 crates with individual paper bags that had been made and tied into bundles.

We made another section for the process of the Karada Soap which we place the 2 long table and a few empty pallets and stacked the onion skin wrapping papers and all the stamps and stamp pads in a small basket.

I looked at the setup, it was a bit tight but it's worth it. We went out and saw a messenger and asked to send someone from the grain shop, vegetables and fruits shop to head over here so we could order and stock on food considering that we need to feed these staffs.

Full stomachs make the work revolve faster.

When the messenger had left, a group of girls appeared at our yard and were told that we were offering employment for girls from orphans and single-parent families.

We checked against our lists and against the number of girls and informed them that we need 6 more and 2 ran off to find the others. I a short moment later we had gathered 18 of them.

Hiko-sama briefed them since he saw me writing in the sketchpad and entertaining the shop owner who had arrived with the cauldron and other stuff and gotten the 2 delivery boys to help arrange the set-up. As more space was needed, the storekeeper's table and shelf had to shift and now are placed to give more space to work with for the production area.

After making the arrangements, and the line leaders mentioned that the space to move about is spacious, I briefed both line leaders and assistant to pass down the message to the 2nd and 3rd team so that they can delegate the work around and monitor the progress of the 3 production lines.

Simple instructions passed down and they both understood. I explained that their roles would be increased as they need to monitor the 3 lines in order not to have a single mix up.

This time, they would be handling the process of how to produce the Karada Soap and also the thin layers in order to produce the 3 Scented powders. I reminded again to pass down the message so if they had any difficulties in understanding they have to get back to me soonest possible in order not to disrupt the operations.

They nodded and proceed to monitor the Hae Shanpu production that was currently online.

At the Hiko-sama briefed the 18 girls that he required a certain number of girls per shift and all volunteered readily. Since the actual process would start tomorrow, the 1st shift should report work the next day but in the meantime, they are free to get into the warehouse to see what's happening there.

Since no one was below the age of 14, they were considered as matured enough to work on this production line and the oldest in the group was 16, making Hanna and Izumi the eldest in the production line.

After Hiko-sama had made a roster on my sketchpad, based on the number of girls required and the deployment, roles and duties like their names and age so I would be able to address them properly.

Phew! Too many names and so many sides and extras on the set. Too many to remember so I decided to address them by their shifts and by their production line. I looked at the list and found names such as Ami, Baba, Choya, Daya, Iko, Jen, Kim, Lin, Miko, Nara, Obe, Pika, Qoo, Rin, Sumi, Tara, Uni, Wang, Ying, Amoy, Buya, Cena, Dono and Em et cetera on top of our existing Eko, Fei, Gin, Hanna, Izumi and Riko.

Haiyooooo what a mess but in order to organise this, it would be best if I separate the girls in separate lines into colours of head scarfs. So I noted that we have to get about 36 head scarfs for 36 workers. We had a total of 42 employees alone on the production lines and 10 for the warehouse, 8 for the machinist and 4 managers which the payroll has to be maintained for all 64 employees.

Ara ma... So many to monitor. But I had to depend on the initial 6 line leaders and line assistant to ensure smooth operations. I pointed to 2 girls who looked rather cute and shy and asked them who they were staying with and they replied were single parents.

I summoned the girls to call their mothers over now and they ran off to their homes to fetch their mothers. When their mothers came, I later learnt that they lost their husbands during pillage some years back and managed to fake death by hiding under the corpses of others until the bandits left.

The ladies were in their mid 20's and I asked them if they could be the prep cooks for Jiyu Residence and they said they would love to. I instructed that they had to cook 6 meals per day for the 42 employees and the food supplies would be sent here on a regular basis. And their remuneration would be 5 silvers per week.

I asked Hiko-sama if it is alright for the cooks to prep in our kitchen or in Jiyu Residence because we do not want them to fuss in the house and disturb the rest for 2nd and 3rd girls.

Hiko-sama suggested cooking outdoors like a shared kitchen in the outermost section at the midsection of the plot of land where the water tower is situated. Hiko-sama then called the delivery boys and security to prepare a prep table and a cooking area outdoors with a simple overhead shed near the water tower. There would be 3 rocket stoves and cooking utensils could be used from Jiyu Residence.

The shop keeper for the vegetables and fruits and grain came. I informed that delivery of a sack of grains to be sent weekly starting tomorrow and I noted of the price. ThenI ordered fruits like 5 kilograms of apples, pears, persimmons, saba bananas suitable for steaming and bananas for eating raw and be sent here every 2 days.

I informed the vegetable shop owner to send 5 kilograms of squash, tomatoes, potatoes, yam, sweet potatoes, sweet corn, leek, garlic, onions, ginger, green cabbage, water spinach, caixin and spinach every 3 days.

I asked a favour to pass to the meat and poultry seller to send 5 live chickens, 5 kilos of saba fish and 2 trays of eggs for every 2 days. All these must be documented in a receipt and paid upon delivery.

All of them took note of it and suggested that they would like to bring extras fruits and vegetables in case I want to mix in their varieties and I said OK. Hiko-sama noted in his sketchpad and made an estimation that to provide daily meals would cost 1 silver and 5 coopers per 4 people and estimated the marketing would be about 7 gold and 2 silvers per day or about 216 gold for the whole month.

I smiled at Hiko-sama and said we do not have to worry about feeding our employees as long as they are well-fed, they would literally able to perform their jobs well. I reminded that we have more or less 950 gold coins hidden in the storage for our daily necessities and he laughed when he remembered that it was from the initial 3 sales that we had achieved in the 3 towns.

+-==Meanwhile, back at Aizuwakamatsu) ==-+

The ambassadors were riding on their horseback and soon arrived in Aizuwakamatsu Town. They asked the business district if there is a commonplace where they can conduct a meeting because they need to address to some merchants concerning products of their interest.

The business department was made of up several offices and there are several temporary conference halls where it could be rented by the hour and the 4 ambassadors chose the largest one and paid for a 2-hour session. They asked where they could hire messengers and informed that they will summon those who were waiting for despatch and reported straight to the conference hall.

Their idea is simple, rub the messengers hands with Karada Soap, and they will run off and let the cosmetic owners smell their hands and then tell them that the ambassadors of Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha from Kitakata are in the conference hall for the next 1 hour, as they need to showcase their products that would benefit the community.

They discovered that in Aizuwakamatsu, there were 10 cosmetic shops and the messengers quickly despatched their message and was paid by the 4 ambassadors. They took their time to arrange the products of Karada Soap, Kurin, Feroa Kurina, soap dish bowl and luckily the storekeeper had also packed 6 bottles of Hae Shanpu, 3 with labels and 3 without.

After displaying the products and soon one by one the cosmetic shop owners came in and saw the ambassadors had fine timepieces hanging on their necks like medallions and knew that these men had the wealth as well as status.

After 10 ladies had gathered in front of them, they saw the products on display and wanted to approach when Miroku raised a hand and introduced themselves first. He had the best PR among the 4 with the highest charisma ratings.

"Good morning, my dear ladies who operate the fine cosmetics and beauty department of Aizuwakamatsu. Our names are Miroku, Kami, Hide and Toshi, and we are brought here today on a glorious morning to share something new and innovative to you and improve your business (kaching, kaching) as well as improves the lives of the residents of Aizuwakamatsu (kaching, kaching, kaching!)"

"We are the ambassadors of Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha in Kitakata and had been assigned to deliver these message from our corporation as Kitakata had assigned an agent to solely distribute this in her cosmetic shop since its the only one."

"To make it fair for everyone please feel free to come forward one at a time to inspect whatour corporation has to offer and we will let you know the price and the recommended retail prices, but best if you could make a guess on these prices first."

The Ladies went up to the display table and held the products in their hands and can't help to sniff and felt invigorated by the fresh new scents they had never smell before.

The Karada Soap they held in their hands were 5x more potent than their single vial of perfume that they are currently selling in their town for as high as 5 gold coins.

The only Scented Soap they had in their shops was a musty smelling goats milk that costs 2 gold and 5 silvers that had long been collecting dust.

They looked at the dainty porcelain soap dish and found it paired well with the soap and the design was not found anywhere.

Next, they held the bottle of Hae Shanpu, the first of its kind that they had heard and seen this product. The moment they opened the 3 caps, they were intoxicated with the rich, sweet-smelling perfume-like milk that was inside. They used the bamboo skewers provided and dipped into its solution and rubbed on their hands as instructed by Miroku.

It was like having strawberries, apples and grapes in their hands and the women subconsciously dabbed it on their hand. They were all very excited and filled with ecstasy. They asked if the 4 ambassadors were carrying stock of these kinds but unfortunately the ladies found out that these products were used as a bait for them to place their orders.

They also saw a Detergent that can be used to wash clothes and it was packed with an explosive lemon scent.

They also noticed the Feroa Kurina that they had never seen before and sniffed the packs and were met with the subtle pine and smooth and relaxing smell of eucalyptus.

These products before them were out of this world!

"My dear, fine and beautiful ladies. Could you tell me how much would these Karada Soap, Hae Shanpu, Kurin and Feroa Kurina costs?"

Excited answers came from the ladies as if they were running an auction house and the prices they mentioned were as high as 3 gold for Karada Soap, 10 gold for Hae Shanpu and 5 gold each for Kurina and Feroa Kurina and 2 gold for the porcelain soap dish.

Miroku explained that there are 10 scents for Hae Shanpu and narrated the main scents and it made the ladies wild! They never knew there were so many scents.

Miroku somehow learnt how to be a Hitokiri by using a Reed pen. He took out the sketchpad and announced.

"If we could prove to you that the prices of these fine products are much lesser than what you are thinking off, could we start by taking orders of taking small orders of 50pcs of everything except for the soap dish that you could pair up and sell together with the Karada Soap?"

"If you suggest 50pcs, it would mean the prices would be astronomical right?" a lady that looked like a Tai Tai and adorned with lots of accessories on her hair and neck.

"I will place some gold and silver coins in front of you to indicate how much it would actually cost!"

When Miroku places a single gold coin in front of the Karada Soap, Kurin, Feroa Kurina and the soap dish, everyone gasped at the price and we're clutching their hands gleefully at their chests as they never knew it would cost this low. He proceeds to place 2 gold and 5 silver coins for the Hae Shanpu and they were shocked that it costs only 25% of their prediction.

They agreed and wanted to order on a weekly basis based on the order requirement that Miroku had proposed. In the end, the figures for the items are as follow:

Karada Soap 29 scents x 50 pcs each x 10 pax

Hae Shanpu 10 scents x 50 pcs each x 10 pax

Kurin Lemon 50pcs x 10 pax

Feroa Kurina 2 scents x 50pcs x 10 pax

Soapdish 1,450 x 10 pax

Miroku quickly passed the sketchpad to them to write their names and locale names so the ambassadors could update them of the date of delivery and new products. He quickly checked the amount that needs to be paid by each of them and noted in the sketchpad

"Ladies, we do not collect a single payment from you at all and would only collect upon the delivery of goods during that time, please get ready your delivery boys so that the drop of the items would be made here."

"Total payable per locale would be 4,300 each. This small investment goes a long way."

The Ladies nodded in agreement as some of their costliest product may reach a few hundred gold coins for the nobles as they wrote their names and their locale names.

"Thank you for your kind patronage with Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha, my dear ladies. We would like to take our leave now and head to the next town to spread this joyous news."

The ambassadors packed their stuff and made their way out even before completing the 2-hour rental duration and had made a killing with the sales presentation. The ladies left with them and remarked how well the gentlemen looked and also flirted with some of them.

To the ambassadors, making small tall is harmless as long as they can make the ladies eat from the palms of their hands.

They visited the Treasury Department and seek attendance with the ahead of Treasurer and after showing the master copy of the head treasurer that signed the proposal and since they had been notified earlier of this, the head of the treasurer signed and sealed the agreement.

Similar results were achieved at Yonezawa with the same sales tactics and the proposal for the head of the treasurer. In Yonezawa they had met with 12 ladies from the cosmetics shops and had achieved the same orders.

Upon reaching Shibata, they decided to meet with the treasurer first since it was almost closing time for the treasury department and they achieved similar results too.

In Shibata, they had 16 such cosmetics locales and after spending some time, the same minimum figure was achieved for each locale owners. 4 of the ladies however invited each of the ambassadors out for late supper and had to stay back in Shibata to entertain their clients.

To the ambassadors, it was part and parcel of the dangers of dealing with the ladies and now they were termed as lady killers and not like before where they had to wield katana but this time with their Odachi underneath their hakama.

In fact, those 4 ambassadors really enjoyed their evening amidst throes of steamy lovemaking session with men that smelled like fruits in their hair and flowers on their bodies.
