76 3.33 The Wedding Kiss that Seals the Fate.

As mentioned with Akiara about the idea of procuring akiya houses within the district, a property agent was engaged and had met with us the day earlier and was shown the houses within the proximity of Lake Ikura.

We had gone for a house to house visiting and found one that was very ideal for us. At 25,000 yen a month and a tenureship of 20 years, we could basically have the house to ourselves by that time.

The house was quaint and well maintained both exterior and interior. It had a large living room upon entering, 3 bedrooms and an attached toilet and bath in each room. A large dining hall with an attached kitchen.

There was a centralised air-conditioning in the house, a partition separates the kitchen and had a large exhaust fan plus a cooker hood over the 4 burner hob. Partitions separating the bedrooms as well as the living room and the dining hall. A hallway meets us at the main entrance of the house that leads to the main living room.

The interior finishings were tip top, well maintained by the owner and the past tenant as it was rented out before. The exterior was immaculate as well. There was a drive in garage as well as an outdoor parking space.

A Sakura and jasmine garden adorned three-quarters of the house front. There was a large bench swing set for adults to sit in. A set of decorative wrought iron table and chairs were available for afternoon teas.

It was simply picturesque. After completion of the paperwork and group of general cleaners, maintenance personnel as well painters moved in and completed their works within 4 hours and the house looked extremely homely and liveable.

We went to a nearby furnishing shop while the workers were doing their jobs and had bought several more necessary furniture as we as electronic appliances. Since the owner had left some furniture that we could recycle and reused along with the existing air conditioner, refrigerator and cooker hob and hood.

The movers came after the general workers had left and installed the rest of the furniture while the earlier property agent had reinstalled back the electricity and water supply when we had submitted the papers much earlier.

Neighbours looked at the efficiency of how we youngsters had planned to acquire the house and managed to complete furnishing and moving in before the end of the day. After we had done so, we locked the house back and returned to the hotel for our stay for the last night.

The next day after another some rounds of a sumptuous and gastronomical trip of breakfast, this time with the crew of this particular series, we headed to Omiya Sengen Shrine Okumiya for the commencement of the wedding. Once the priest had made it official, both Akiara and I were pronounced as husband and wife and I may kiss the bride among the spectators of the crew.

We returned to the hotel and packed our bags and by midday, we checked out and along with the crews, we all headed to our new home. The Director had arranged for a catering service for everyone in the garden and pops of champagne as well as glasses of wine were passed around.

A giant 3 tiered wedding cake was placed in the middle of the garden and we both were soon cutting the cake up and photos were shot for eternal remembrance.

The wedding reception simply flowed to the streets as everyone within the district was invited and everyone had their moments as joys as they brought along potluck added a more sumptuous food galore to the wedding. It was truly a food fiesta in that particular town.

Everyone was happy, the Director was delighted, the crew was joyous and the three of us; Akiara, her aunt and I simply felt blessed with all the company and with the neighbours'.

A huge red ribbon was strung outside the main door of our new home. A huge prop pair of scissors were presented to us and we held to it before cutting the ribbon and a few snaps of photos were taken. It's our first step of a journey as a newlywed couple with a brand new home and fully furnished to suit our tastes.

As we cut the ribbon the crowd began to cheer and loud applause can be heard to welcome the new family into their neighbourhood.

As a custom, I princess-carried Akiara over the threshold after cutting the big ribbon and through the main door. Everyone was basically performing a wedding sent off ceremony where they threw coins, rice, as well as sweets towards the house and kids of the neighbourhood, ran to pick them up.

At least the Town Council workers need not worry about the mess afterwards and pigeons, mynahs all flocked to the scene and gobbled up the rice thrown by the crowd.

We waved at them before we closed the door and me still princess-carried Akiara through the house and straight went to the bedroom. The house looked immaculately new with the rush cleanup and maintenance and paint job even. With the added new furnishings, the house looked very homely and welcoming.

I placed Akiara gently on the bed and I sat down beside her. I looked deep in her eyes and said, "Darling, today is the day we started our lives together. I dedicate my life to you and will protect you against any harm. You are my life and the only one that I will spend the remaining life with. I love you as I love myself and I will never love you any lesser every day. I am your first and your forever and eternity."

Akiara beamed with joy and tears were jerking at her eyes again as she remembers the day the moment she woke up from her coma right to this day, her heart had never betrayed her and had told her that love within will remain and the one in front of her is her only one and a true hero.

Akiara hugged me and brought me close to her as I lay my body next to her. I kissed her softly and gently and it began to increase its intensity. Akiara release her lips from mine and whispered, "Please be gentle, darling" as I suddenly felt a sudden blue light surrounding my body as I slowly disengage from Shinjiro's body and appeared in the black vacuum zone again as I had successfully changed the life path and history for the original Akira Ashiteru now known as Akiara Sato and Shiro Takashimaya, now known as Shinjiro Ajinomoto.
