Xiao Tianyao looked at her sideway and brought back the medicine box away. "I hope I don't have to treat your wound again."

"If you don't want to treat my wound, then I will ask someone else to do it." Senja reached out her hand and started eating another apple on the table. She was quite hungry actually.

Xiao Tianyao stopped in his step and turned his back. "I don't know if you have a plan to get hurt again." He said agitatedly.

Senja turned her body to face him and gave him a sweet smile. "As long as you protect me, no one can hurt me. Therefore, will you always stay by my side?"

"Stay here. I will look for Jun." Xiao Tianyao chose to not answer her question and walked away, leaving Senja chuckled happily because she managed to tease him again.

Hmm, their interaction wasn't as awkward as Senja imagine before. She still been able to tease him and he was still as stoic as before their kiss.

Senja would find another time to ask him, why he kissed her when he even declared that he didn't like her. If Xiao Tianyao thought Senja would be too shy to bring up the topic then he was totally wrong.

The moment Xiao Tianyao left, the door of the room slowly open as Xiao Jun strolled inside the room with calm expression as though he just came back from enjoying the night view instead of someone who just killed someone else.

"Young Miss Senja." Xiao Jun greeted her politely.

Senja stood up and slightly bent her body. "Prince Xiao Jun, your brother has gone out just now to look for you."

Xiao Jun didn't heed Senja information and signaled her to take a sit again before he also sat across her.

"Prince Xiao Jun, thank you for saving my life." She said with the courtesy that she knew.

"You must thank Tianyao. Actually I almost killed you at that time." He gently stated.

Xiao Jun honest and calm declaration made Senja jerked her body when she remembered the bloody scene when both of them killed the assassin and Feng Chang.

But, along with that Senja realized another thing. That was why Xiao Tianyao had shielded her from his brother, because Xiao Jun had an intention to kill her due to of her ability? Senja shivered.

If that time Xiao Tianyao wasn't there to stop Xiao Jun, she would have been dead by now.

Xiao Jun made his sentences in such a way that could implicitly show his intention to give a way and threatened Senja at the same time. "I will act accordingly with the way you use your ability."

Both brothers really have the same ability when it came to words with hidden threats. They could threaten someone while talking calmly.
