255 A KISS

"And I said for the last time. This is not your damn business!" Senja was angry as well. Why he always threatened her? As long as it's not involved a sword, she didn't mind to argue with him.

He needed to know that she has her bottom line too. Even though Senja had said that she likes him last night, that wasn't a reason that Xiao Tianyao could treat her as he like.

"You think you can hide something from me?" Xiao Tianyao released Senja's hand and scrutinized her arrogant posed.

"You can't force me to talk about something that I don't want to!" She needed to make sure this man received her message clear and loud that she didn't like to be treated the way he treated her.

"Are you sure that I can't?" A devilish smirked appeared on the corner of his lips.

"Once we return to Roccaleaf Tea House, I will go back to my house and never see you again! Let's see what you can do then." Senja shouted imperiously.

That was right. Once they got back, she has a small chance to meet Xiao Jun or Xiao Tianyao. That was why Senja needed to know everything that Xiao Jun knew about her and probably to find Yun, since he knew him, there must be a way, and also the mysterious stone in her possession. However, here Xiao Tianyao was in the way.

Well, Senja do like him, but not to the point she wanted to give up the chance to return to her own era… at least, she did not feel it yet. Because later on after so many things happened between them, she would realize there was nothing that she wouldn't willingly give up to be with him.

A sinister intention flashed in Xiao Tianyao's eyes when he heard Senja's confrontation. "Just because you think that you will return to your home and that give you the audacity to challenge me?"

"You like a challenge right?" Senja smirked and folded her arms as she provoked him further.

"Such a mouth." Xiao Tianyao murmured.

However, before she could say another word, Xiao Tianyao drew her toward him as he put his arms around her neck, steadily held her head and lift up her chin. His face was so close until Senja could smell his scent.

Senja hasn't had a chance to process it when she caught Xiao Tianyao's eyes flaring with emotion that made her heart thumping frantically and her throat clogged.

"You didn't know who you are challenging." He whispered on her ear that made Senja trembled as he leaned even closer to her. But, before she could ponder it further he put his lips on hers.

As cold as he was, Senja thought his lips would be cold as well, but Xiao Tianyao's lips were so warm and soft against hers.

Senja gasped in surprise as her lips parted Xiao Tianyao bit down her lips.

It wasn't a hot kiss as it happened only for a second, actually Xiao Tianyao only caressing her lips with his and added a soft bit into it. Even so, it managed to make Senja lost her breath by his sudden action.

After sensing the girl in his arms froze. Xiao Tianyao withdrew and released her. The girl shocking expression was the first thing he saw.

There was no guilty on his face although he had done something inappropriate by kissing the girl that even wasn't his, or breaking the unspoken rule.

Afterward he calmly spoke. "Just so you know that I will return to M City with you and grandfather."

After Xiao Tianyao informed her, he strode away, leaving Senja who was still processing the incident that just happened.
