10 USELESS SUPERPOWER

The atmosphere increased along with the soldier's perplexed expression.

"What is she talking about?" A few soldiers whispered among themselves.

The pressured was too intense for Senja, she clutched her chest tightly.

What is this? Are my senses getting sharp? I can feel their emotions. It's too tiring.

Then, some words of the old woman resound inside her head.

Is this what grandma said with 'increases my senses'? huhh… it's not helping at all. Why don't you give me something more powerful? Like shoot a fire from my eyes, fly in the sky, teleport to another place or else, the ability to disappear? I really need the last one now.

"Excuse me…" Senja talked in low voice, however it's enough to make all the soldiers quieted down and looked at her with anticipation. She could feel that too. She sighed before continuing "Can I have some clothes please?" She said awkwardly.

There was a pit drop silent afterwards, nobody moved, nobody gave a reaction.

"Clothes please…?" Senja repeated it again in reminder tone. She needed to get rid of their emotions because they were not related to her own. She got annoyed with their reaction and became more furious because of the feeling of anxiousness they gave to her.

She stared at them one by one while the other parties were avoiding her eyes.

"Give her clothes and take her to Captain Hua!" The previous soldier gained his awareness and gave an order to a soldier behind him. Not long after that, someone brought a grey lousy robe. Senja frowned upon seeing that pieces of clothes, she had never worn something so lousy like that, but wisely didn't utter a word.

"Quick. Wear this. It's not good to see." Said a soldier while he handed the robe to her.

Not good my ass. You are blushing now young pal! Senja grumbled in her heart. She quickly wrapped her body with it. The robe is very big, the length is almost covered her knees, when the sleeves made her hands gone. Ugh!

"Bring her to Captain Hua!"

After the order was said, four soldiers unsheathed their swords and then surrounded Senja to escort her.

"Wait, what is this? You don't need to draw your sword, do you?" I can't fight all of you. I don't have basic martial arts anyway.

But the soldiers didn't say anything and just gestured for Senja to move. Out of option, Senja just follow. It didn't feel like they would kill her soon.

While she was walking with the soldiers that escorted her, she was able to analyze her situation. This was the craziest things that came true, but she still hard to accepted this. She still felt like Sian would pop out from somewhere anytime and told her if this situation she was in now just his stupid pranks like usual.

But even if this just a prank, Sian would definitely couldn't pull it trough! This is surreal, this is the real deal. Was the old lady throw her back to ancient time? How she could do that? Is she really a witch?

Senja shook her head, dizzy with that possibility.

After short analysis, Senja realized three things. First, she was inside a fortress. She quiet sure about it.

Second, this fortress filled with anxious soldiers, seems like there was something big going on.

Third, she was in another world ancient time. This is completely insane! Oh, and one more thing that she knew, she became more sensitive to the mood of people around her and if she couldn't controlled it, it would affect her own emotion. It feels like she turned out to be a human mood detector. This revelation dawn to her just like that.

Great! Now I have a useless superpower.
