Chapter 147 - Weirdness Spreading

'Isn't the class president a little too happy today?'

Nick glanced at his seatmate and saw the jolly mood of their class president. However, that was not the only out-of-the-ordinary thing in the class.

The first subject was about to arrive, however, there are still two of their classmates who have yet to arrive. Of course, that would be Teren and Iesa.

'Fufufu, I have finally taken a step forward in conquering the Devil Himself. I hope that psychotic mentally ill woman is not here, I want my thoughts to be free today.'

Lina thought while she hummed and swung her head and feet.

'Although it's just a dream, I can still feel it in my mouth. Goddamn, I want the real thing!'

Her eyes shone the moment she let out her desires in her thoughts. Even without the ability to hear thoughts like Iesa, Nick could feel that Lina was up to something weird. It's because he was already aware that this class president is not that kind as she seemed to be.

Meanwhile, Mike and his group were frowning as they glanced at each other. When Catherine arrived at the room, they immediately surrounded her.

I heard that you were out with Teren.

Did something happen?

Of course, they were in a much private area when they talked about it - in the emergency stairs. However, there was no way that Catherine would say that they went to karaoke just for Teren to teach her to sing. Even if she said it out loud, even she wouldn't believe her own words. Also, she would hide the fact that her voice was basically trash when singing.

'But after a month or so! If I continued this regime, I will be able to sing like an average person!'

She confidently smiled but noticing others' stares, she hid it. Furthermore, she was also concerned about Teren and Iesa's absence.

Catherine and her group were always checking their phones to see if Teren updated it. They didn't believe that Teren would just skip class because of something light. They don't know the reasoning but they just thought that he wouldn't.

But it was definitely strange, Teren and Iesa were the only ones not there and there were no updates in the group chat.

They wonder what happened. Teren being late is normal but Iesa too? They just know that the two have a special relationship but that's the extent of their knowledge.

Hanon came in and saw the heavy mood again. He was getting worried about what was happening but he saw the root of the problem.

He then clasped his hands.

"I see, your idol is not here so that's why you all have long faces. Come on, let's stretch them out, literally!"

With a smile, he rhythmically clapped. Eline immediately followed quite the enthusiasm. They already know what to do since this was not the first time so everyone else followed.

Hanon moved and stretched his body which the class followed.

This was unsurprisingly a good way to start the class. And right after they finished with a bit of sweat, the door opened and two people came in.

"Oh, look who came la-"

Hanon looked and stopped. He saw Iesa and Teren but there was something different that he couldn't quite explain.

He just laughed it off and went on with the attendance. He would've made the late students do the stretching alone in front of the class as punishment but since it's Teren, he let it go.

Lina's nose widened as she stared at her two classmates at the back.

'Why...'

Iesa glanced at Lina and smirked. In response, Lina popped a nerve out.

'Why do they have the same scent...???'

Iesa normally have this sweet scent that would spread around the class once she entered. However, this time, Teren has the same scent, what's happening?

"Oh..."

Mike whispered which Catherine elbowed him and asked.

"What is it?"

"They've done it..."

Mike whispered.

"What done?"

"Sex"

"..."

Catherine's jaw slightly dropped as she looked at the two at the back. Definitely, the usual bashfulness that each other has was no longer there.

Instead, there's this maturity and unity between them.

However, the biggest question was:

Are they a couple now?

The answer should be obvious, however, for Catherine and her group, it was quite complicated. However, for Catherine specifically, this was bad news. If they've done it, they should be a couple, right? She wished they are. But if they aren't, she remembered Teren's words back then as clear as a day.

Catherine sweated. She had this anxiety that someday, Teren will finally release his urges to her. For her, the probability is not zero. This time, since Teren have done his first and he had experienced how good it felt, that probability went up by a lot.

There was a weird mood in the class that day, caused by the weird couple.

Teren and Iesa glanced at each other. They were aware of the chaos that they were causing inside the classroom. If someone were to ask them right now, they have already prepared an answer.

The day went on and lunchbreak has arrived. Unexpectedly, none asked the two. Maybe it was already obvious?

Meanwhile, Lina's face was red the entire time. It was as if she would snap at anyone if they tried to talk to her. It was the first time, they saw her like that, even her friends from other classes.
