Chapter 63 - Not My Servant

Rong Zian rose from his slumber much more relaxed than before but Wu Yange wasn't beside him. Slightly panicked, he got up from the bed looking for him only to find him fixing his belt all dressed up as though planning to go somewhere. Wu Yange turned to look at him with a dazzling smile and spoke, "You are finally awake, are you feeling any better?"

"Mm," replied Rong Zian leaning against the wall staring right at him, "Last night you said you had something to tell me, do you want to talk about it?"

Wu Yange let out a low chuckle while walking towards him, "I remember but I have to go take care of something. What I want to say is rather important and can't just say it in passing," he said now standing right front of him with no regard of social distancing rules whatsoever.

The prince didn't touch him but Rong Zian felt goosebumps all over his body suffering in silence unable to take his eyes off him. He never thought Wu Yange's teasing would upgrade in the next instance. "Have you taken a bath yet?" asked Wu Yange twirling his finger around a strand of Rong Zian's hair.

The poor guy was stupefied his entire body numb, with no shred of intelligence left. "No," he replied shaking his head like a fool.

"Uh, I have but I am willing to take another bath so wait for me to come back then we can save water and spare the servants from tiring themselves by drawing two baths which is unnecessary," he suggested with amorous eyes that Rong Zian had seen before. The 'I am going to eat you up' eyes that he was now all too familiar with.

"Tha-, that sounds like a great idea, Save water, save the planet, right?" he said feeling parched. 'Save the water my ass! I just want to eat some tofu!' he secretly thought now wearing a foolish grin.

He knew how silly Wu Yange's save water and spare servants excuse was, but boy he was desperate and would not refute anything Wu Yange would say right now. Even if the prince said let's have sex to exercise instead of paying for gym membership he would gladly pick sexercise any day.

Wu Yange though thrilled he was highly sceptical of Rong Zian's speedy agreement, he didn't even have to convince him even though the prince had clearly given an unintelligent excuse. "You agreed too quickly. Does it mean you would accept anyone who asks to take a bath with you because I clearly remember the first time we met, you undressed right in front of me? Do you do it in front of others too?"

"No I would never," denied Rong Zian though he was reprimanding himself within, 'That's a fuckin' lie. I wouldn't accept bathing with other people but I have definitely undressed in front so many people in boarding school and almost undressed in front of Ying Tie once. Oh including another Wu Yange from another universe. Fuck, I kinda feel slutty." He might have thought it but he would never say it out loud.

"Good, from now on remember you are not allowed to do so. Be good, I will be back soon," said the prince before walking out leaving Rong Zian in a stupor.

The prince left for Zhao Mansion leaving behind the smile he had before. The Zhao family had escalated things and if left unchecked they would become more brazen with time and screw with him every chance they get. His initial intention was to burn their mansion down as a warning but soon dumped the idea when he thought of Zhao Huang involving the empress.

His mother was the most difficult to deal with, she has a tongue as sharp as a double-edged sword. Because of that, he didn't want to cross paths with her ever again. They couldn't co-exist in one place otherwise things would end up bloody as history had shown.

Wu Yange walked into the mansion expecting to find Zhao Huang swearing like a sailor but the man addressed him politely and asked him to join them at the table. He knew something was definitely up but he couldn't figure out what Zhao Huang's game plan was. Wu Yange agreed to sit down but remained vigilant as he studied the man sitting opposite him.

"Your Highness, I would have to apologise for my daughter's actions today. In a lapse of judgement, she insulted the servant at your house which is my fault as a father. I failed to teach her well an-" said Zhao Huang before Wu Yange angrily cut him off.

"Not my servant," he replied with a dark expression.

Zhao Huang was confused but didn't show it on his face and so replied, "I understand your relationship with the young man and my daughter overlooked that causing trouble to His Highness," gesturing for Zhao Lee to kowtow before the prince.

"I have reprimanded her for her bad behaviour. She's not allowed to stand up till His Highness forgives her for her atrocities," continued Zhao Huang as Madam Zhao poured out some tea.

Recalling how shaken Rong Zian was Wu Yange's anger intensified. "What did you do to him?" he demanded in a terrifying roar that had Zhao Lee shaking like a leaf. Zhao Lee didn't respond in fear keeping her mouth shut but Wu Yange wasn't having it. "Speak!" he bellowed glowering.

Zhao Lee swallowed down her fear and spoke in a soft tone, "I-I poured som-some tea on him and spoke harsh words. Your Highness, punish this servant for committing such a grave sin," she said as she raised her head with a pitiful look. Wu Yange finally saw the strangulation marks on Zhao Lee, Ying Tie had mentioned it while Rong Zian was sleeping but he didn't imagine they would be this bad. He was impressed with the man's ability to stand up for himself, Rong Zian was no longer a coward.

Sipping his tea, he couldn't help but think what Rong Zian would do if he ever had a harem, not to say that he wanted one but he could imagine all of them being dealt with by a cute but vicious cat ready to strike down his love rival. 'A jealous Rong Zian would look so cute,' he thought finishing off his tea. He was ready to leave this place and go tease his cute cat but as he stood up, he suddenly felt ill.

The feeling was familiar to him, it had only happened once when he was sixteen when he drank his first and last drop of alcohol. He didn't touch the stuff because of this and would never drink it willingly. Zhao Huang suddenly smiled seeing the prince's drunk appearance and rushed to steady him so he could lead him to Zhao Lee's room. "Your Highness, you don't look too well. How about you lie down and leave when you feel much better," he said nudging towards the east wing of the mansion.

Wu Yange pushed Zhao Huang away with such great force and sent him flying till he hit the wall with a loud bang. Coughing up blood, Zhao Huang got up with Madam Zhao assisting him. He was about reprimand the prince but Wu Yange asked in a loud voice, "Was there alcohol in there?"

Zhao Lee stood up trying to appease the prince but before she could hold the helm of his garment, Wu Yange staggered out and fell kneeling on the front garden groaning in pain. "Get out, get out," he mumbled in a low voice that Zhao Lee could barely make out what he was saying.

Wu Yange suddenly stood up and roared like beast yelling, "GET OUT!"
