Chapter 102 - 54 - Zapdos!

As they went in farther and deeper, everything seems to be getting creeper and darker, due to the lack of lighting. As the flashlights consume their phone batteries, Rico doubted that they couldn't find Zapdos, nor ȧssure it was there.

"Don't worry, Rico," Ash responded back, "I'm he lives here somewhere..." Then, just as expected, they arrived at the main power room, where Zapdos was sleeping peacefully. They then took cover behind a fallen off concrete pillar and peeked at the Legendary Pokémon. In order to talk without disturbing Zapdos, the group must whisper to each other.

"Now, what should we do here?" Rico asked Ash in a low voice.

"Let's just say hi to it and had a chat," Ash replied back in a low voice. "But we have to be very quiet and silent, or else it'll attack you." They nodded to say yes and in agreement, come out, and tried to approach Zapdos slowly and quietly. All of them didn't open their mouths nor accidentally stepped on a debris, but Rico stopped, feeling something that went into his nose, and felt that he would sneeze. Upon hearing it, Ash and the others stopped approaching, and shut Rico's mouth and nose, preventing him from sneezing. Sighing in relief, they removed their hands off him, and, without any warning, Rico sneeze and let out a big "achoo!" across the big room with repeating echoes. This wakes Zapdos, and it quickly got up and looked at them in an intimating demeanor. Of course, everyone except Ash and his Pokémon got scared by Zapdos.

"Rico!" Iris scolded Rico for making such a noise while being scared.

"Sorry!" Rico responded back in desperate while being scared.

"Now we're done for!" Clemont shouted in desperate. But Ash was looking at the Legendary Pokémon seriously, as if he already knew it before. Zapdos is about to use a powerful Electric-type move on them, but seconds later, it aborted its attack and instead laughed at their faces, so as Ash. It was a scare for them. Lowering their guard down, they realized what Zapdos had been doing, and asked, "Uh, Ash? What's going on?" Laughing at their faces, Ash answered back, "Oh, man, just look at to your faces. It was just a joke."

"Ash! You just scared the life out of us!" Serena commented in response.

"I can't I got scared by that Pokémon," Trip added a comment in calming state. "And it was joke? How hilarious that was!" Finishing laughing, Ash told them that Zapdos won't hurt them, and only hostile to others. As a result, the rest and their Pokémon laughed it off. It was a successful find, but with hilarious results.

Then, a few minutes later, suddenly, without any warning, Team Rocket bursted in from the roof, captured Zappos, and appeared in front of the group in style of victory. This Ash, Rico, and the rest quickly and retaliate by yelling, "Team Rocket!"

"Hi there, twerps," Jessie greeted them in style. Their Wobbuffet then responded with saluting.

"What are you think you're doing with that Zapdos?" Rico demanded an explanation. His Pokémon then responded with demanding.

"We will be taking this Pokémon and give it to our boss," James retorted back, "Thank you very much."

"We'll be promoted to the higher ranks of Team Rocket!" Meowth added in style. Angered by this, Ash said to his team and friends, "Guys, let's stop them!" His group the seriously nodded in agreement, and call out their Pokémon, Luxray, Serperior, Axew, and Greninja, and they stepped into battle seriously. Lucario then stepped into battle with seriousness. Upon seeing Greninja again, Team Rocket got frightened again and commented like, "Ah! That Pokémon again?!"

"Heh, don't you remember this Pokémon?" Ash asked them in style. Greninja then responded with seriousness. Team Rocket then snapped out from being scared and tried to act brave and tough.

"Ha! We'll beat that Pokémon!" Jessie declared. She then called her Arbok out, and it stepped into battle with a demeanor. The Pokémon at Ash's side really outnumbered Team Rocket's, giving the former a lot of advantages.

Then, the battle had began.

"Axew, use Dragon Rage!" Iris commanded Axew with seriousness. Axew then used Dragon Rage, creating a light blue orb of energy inside of its stomach. It then fires a powerful blast of blue and black energy in the shape of a dragon at Arbok.

"Arbok, dodge it and use Acid!" Jessie quickly commanded Arbok in style. Arbok then dodged Axew's attack and used Acid, spitting a black acid from its mouth.

"Delphox, use Flamethrower!" Serena quickly commanded Delphox. Delphox then used Flamethrower, pointing its wand stick at the Acid and forms a red-orange flame at its tip. It then fires a red-orange stream of fire from the tip of its wand at the attack, burning the Acid into nothing. This shocks Team Rocket, and in retaliation, Meowth charged towards the opponent Pokémon, jumped high, and used Fury Swipes, while yelling, "That's it! Fury Swipes!"

"Serperior, use Vine Whip!" Trip commanded Serperior seriously. Serperior then used Vine Whip, striking Meowth with slender, whiplike vines, causing Meowth to be sent back to its original side in pain.

"That Pokémon was insane!" James commented in shock.

"Lucario, use Bone Rush!" Rico commanded Lucario in serious style. Lucario then used Bone Rush, putting its paws together and spreads them apart, creating a light green bone of energy. It then hits Arbok with it, striking it with great effectiveness. Arbok was a deep pain, shocking its Trainer a lot.

"Greninja, use Cut and free Zapdos!" Ash commanded Greninja seriously. Greninja then charged towards Zapdos and used Cut, forming a white needle in one hand and cuts the net, freeing Zapdos from its captivity. Upon noticing that, Team Rocket got shocked by this, failing their mission severely.

"Now, let's finish them off!" Ash exclaimed in confident style. "Greninja, use Water Shuriken!"

"Delphox, Flamethrower!" Serena commanded Delphox.

"Luxray, use Discharge!" Clemont commanded Luxray.

"Serperior, use Solar Beam!" Trip commanded Serperior.

"Axew, use Dragon Rage!" Iris commanded Axew.

"Lucario, use Focus Blast!" Rico commanded Lucario. Then, together as a team, Greninja, Delphox, Luxray, Serperior, Axew, and Lucario then used Water Shuriken, Flamethrower, Discharge, Solar Beam, Dragon Rage, and Focus Blast, forming and combining them into a beam of power, coupled with Zapdos' Thunderbolt, and fire it towards Team Rocket, striking it so much power it created an explosion and punched the hole into an even bigger one. And out of the smoke, Team Rocket and their Pokémon are blasted out to the skies as they shouted, "We're blasting off again!" They then disappeared towards the sky with a blink of a star. It was an insane battle, but really worth the effort and energy.
