Chapter 80 - 39 - Shut up, Team Rocket!

Team Rocket won't stop until they captured Ash's Pokémon, including Pikachu, their long-time target. So, they shot an electric net towards Ash's Pokémon, rounding them up into one trapped group, but except Greninja, who managed to escape the attack in ninja speed. This stresses Team Rocket, who had showed up several meters away from the kids' location, severely, commenting, "Ugh! That Greninja was too fast." Upon hearing them, the group turned towards the criminal group in alert, only to see Ash's Pokémon being captured in an electrifying net. His Pokémon are in desperate for help as electricity guarded them within the net.

"Team Rocket!" Ash shouted at them seriously.

"You meanies!" Isaiah joined his brother with shouting. Then Team Rocket, standing on the ground in stylish, cool, and villain-style pose, then greeted, "Hello, there, twerps." Their Wobbuffet then responded with saluting.

"Ugh, why you guys won't shut up?" Rico asked them in annoyance. His Lucario then responded in anger and annoyance.

"Not until we captured Pikachu," Jessie replied in style and in a singsong-like voice.

"And we'll give it to our boss," James added in style.

"So we will get promoted and had a great reward," Meowth added another in style.

"What?" Isaiah responded in stunning. "A talking Meowth?"

"Yeah, there's such Pokémon existed," Iris seriously answered him. Her Axew and Excadrill then responded seriously.

"That's right, you twerp," Meowth responded in style. Ash and his group then growled in anger and resentment.

"Let us introduce our selves," Jessie said. "Prepare for trouble!"

"Here we go again," Ash replied in annoyance. "Their motto."

Team Rocket then continued their motto:

"Make it double!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth! That's right!"

But, while Ash, Serena, and Iris are angry at them, Rico and Isaiah are rather confused by them than being stunned.

"Uh, what?" Rico commented. "To denounce the evils of truth and... love?"

"That's right," James replied in style. "Why? Don't get it?"

"I think you're ignorant and stupid," Jessie insulted Rico. Snapping out, Rico got mad and responded, "What? Ignorant? No, I'm not! I'm just confused, you... you...!"

"Because people like you don't care what us Team Rocket does," Jessie responded in style. Wobbuffet then responded with saluting.

"Oh, yeah," Rico retorted in anger, "that's not lawful, you bunch of gold-diggers!" Angered and stressed by this, they got mad at him.

" Alright, that's it!" James retorted in anger. "You insulted us too much! Let's have a battle then!"

"Oh, no, you just made them mad," Ash said to Rico in stunning. His Pikachu then responded with a facepalm of disappointment. In response to battle, Jessie called her Pokémon, Woobat, out and it stepped into battle seriously with levitating. Meowth then stepped into battle, joining Woobat.

"You're going down, kid!" Meowth responded with confident style.

"Who's that Pokémon?" Rico asked in stunning while pointing at Woobat for a second.

"That's a Woobat," Iris seriously explained about Woobat, "A Pokémon from Unova." In response, Rico pulled out his Pokédex and point it towards Woobat; his Pokédex then responded, "Woobat, the Bat Pokémon. A Psychic and Flying-type. Its habitat is dark forests and caves. It emits ultrasonic waves from its nose to learn about its surroundings."

"Okay, that's a weird Pokémon," Rico calmly commented upon hearing that. He then put back his Pokédex in his jacket pocket and focused on battling the criminals. Serena, Ash, and Iris then called their Delphox, Greninja, and Axew, and they stepped into battle with seriousness.

"Lucario, let's do this!" Rico called his Lucario out while throwing his Poké Ball in calling it. Lucario then come out of its Poké Ball, and it stepped into battle with seriousness, joining the others as well. Luckily, Rico was never a narrow-minded person, believing that new techniques, technologies, tactics, and strategies can help him win. But in this situation, will he and his friends win the battle, rescue Ash's Pokémon, and blast Team Rocket off to the skies?

Then, as the sun rises to the middle of the day, the battle had began.

"Woobat, use Air Slash!" Jessie commanded Woobat in style. Woobat then used Air Slash, attacking with a blade of air, striking the ground with power and produced a little shock wave that blows the dust against Ash and his friends, causing them to take cover.

"Oh, man, those guys are quite strong," Rico seriously commented.

"Yeah, right," Ash replied seriously, "Team Rocket is quite powerful and tough, but if we work together, we can defeat them." Once the dust settles, Ash lowers his guard down, and commanded Greninja in serious coolness, "Greninja, use Water Shuriken!" Greninja then used Water Shuriken, forming a shuriken of water in its hand. It then tossed the shuriken at Woobat, inflicting it much pain.

"Lucario, use Bullet Punch!" Rico commanded Lucario in seriousness. Lucario then charged towards Meowth and used Bullet Punch, striking Meowth with a tough punch as fast as a bullet, inflicting it a lot of pain. This shocks the rest of Team Rocket a lot, with James commenting, "What? How that Lucario got a lot stronger than before?" Wobbuffet then responded with saluting.

"Heh, it's because me and Lucario had trained up together for a long time," Rico retorted in confident style.

"Ugh, this is not fair!" Jessie yelled in unfairness.

"Oh, just shut up," Rico replied in uninterested. This angers them with stress marks.

"How dare you insulted us?!" Jessie retorted with stress. "Woobat, again, use Air Slash!" Shaking from Greninja's attack, Woobat quickly used Air Slash, attacking with a blade of air.

"Axew, use Dragon Rage!" Iris seriously commanded Axew. Axew then used Dragon Rage, creating a light blue orb of energy inside of its stomach. It then fires a powerful blast of blue and black energy in the shape of a dragon at the Air Slash, intercepting it with power and cut through it, foiling Woobat's attack.

"What?" Jessie commented in shock.

"Yes!" Iris commented in smiling confident. "Way to go, Axew!" Axew then responded with happiness.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!" Isaiah commanded Charizard seriously. Charizard then used Flamethrower, opening its mouth and scorched an intense blast of fire, striking Meowth, who didn't attack due to Lucario's attack, with power and "roasted" Meowth into perfect golden brown.

"No, Meowth!" Jessie responded with concern and alert. Then to Ash's friends, "how dare you burn our precious Meowth?!" In response to that, Isaiah and Rico laughed and share a high five, while Charizard and Lucario fist bumped to each other. Team Rocket then growled at their strategy.

"Greninja, use Cut!" Ash commanded Greninja to free his Pokémon from being held captive in cool seriousness. Greninja then charged towards the net and used Cut, forming a white needle in one hand and cuts through one side of the net as it dashes by, freeing Ash's Pokémon from captivity. Upon noticing that, Jessie and James got stunned very much and Ash's Pokémon ran to their trainer in embrace. Greninja then zoomed back to Ash's side in speed.

"Ugh, why that Greninja is so annoying?" James wailed in desperate.

"Delphox, use Flamethrower!" Serena commanded Delphox in seriousness. Delphox then used Flamethrower, pointing its wand stick at Woobat and forms a red-orange flame at its tip. It then release a red-orange stream of fire from the top of its wand at Woobat, striking it with great power. As a result, Woobat was roasted to almost golden brown, fell to the ground, and fainted in defeat.

"WHY?" Jessie commented in shock and desperate. "IT'S NOT FAIR!" She and James then carried Woobat and Meowth in their hands in desperate.

"Alright, let's wrap this up!" Ash commanded Greninja and Pikachu." Greninja, use Water Shuriken! And Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

"Lucario, use Aura Blast!" Rico commanded Lucario seriously.

"Axew, use Dragon Rage!" Iris commanded Axew in coolness and positivity.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!" Isaiah commanded Charizard seriously.

"You too, Delphox!" Serena commanded Delphox to use Flamethrower. Then, together, those Pokémon used the moves their trainers commanded, forming a large, powerful beam, and fired it towards Team Rocket, causing them to be scared in desperate. The beam then caused an explosion, producing smoke. And as the smoke clears, Team Rocket was blasted off to the sky as they screamed and cried out, "We're blasting off again!" They then disappeared towards the sky with a blink of a star, ending the battle.

Later, at lunchtime, Delia and Martin became clear to Ash about Isaiah's departure in the past. Ash, however, just accepted this without any hesitation, reassembling the family picture once again. Rico, however, was resting at his house, before gathering at the dining table for lunch.
