Chapter 78 - 37 - Kanto Greetings

Name:Pokemon Pearl Author:Marc0702
2 hours after lunchtime, the two boys and their Pokémon are now strolling through the park for some fun and relax from the stresses of life. They went around, watched the leaves falling from trees, and looked at their own reflections at the park's natural river. It was relaxing.

By 5:22 p.m., at the Rico's house, Rico and Lucas came out with their luggages, a preparation to go home back to Kanto, while Isaiah was waiting for them.

"Are you ready to go home, son?" Lucas asked his son in positivity. Nodding in agreement and in positivity, Rico calmly replied, "Yes." And as three walked away from the house, neighbors and friends, along with their Pokémon, wavered goodbye to them, wishing them good luck and health.

At a city bus to the airport, Rico was standing while holding onto a metal pole. This time, Rico was wearing his shoulder bag while his backpack was stored away in his roller bag. And as he stand, Rico turned towards the window and looked at the metropolitan environment. In mild emotion, he placed his right hand palm against the window, filling the part of the half of the hour.

By 6:57 p.m., the three and their Pokémon are waiting at the waiting room of Kawayan's international airport, as the schedules change and overturn in minutes and hours. They will not eat anything in the airport and instead at the plane on the way home, as if there is in flight meals available for that specific time. Rico was excited to go back to Kanto, fidgeting and looking enthusiastic as Isaiah was working on his online blog in his smartphone while readjusting his dark blue glasses.

"I'm going home," Rico thought in positivity, "I'll be there, Ash." He then looked towards the info board of busy flights available in habit.

Later at the plane to Kanto at night, almost everyone are having their in flight dinner of various foods and delicacies. For Rico and his group, they had a meals of White steamed rice and veggies, vegetarian Japanese curry, and some variety macarons and biscuits. They were at a business class cabin, thanks to the discount the airline offers for less than a week. So, they were in comfort in seats next to a window and to an aisle, with good leg room, small, but functional compartments, and some IFE (InFlight Entertainment). Their Pokémon had already ate back at the airport, so taking care of them is much easier on the plane. And as they eat up, Rico commented with enjoyment, "Wow, this is so cool!"

"Well, yes," Lucas brightly replied while eating and drinking, "I managed to get the discount prior to the date of travel. Cheap isn't?"

"I think so," Isaiah replied in positivity while drinking. "I mean, it's nice here." He then asked the flight attendant to pick up his tray, plastic cup, and utensils, which the attendant did so in response.

Later, by 9:01 p.m., most of the business class seats are transformed into flat beds, thanks to the cool features the seat offers. The passengers are now asleep or lying down reading and watching IFE. Isaiah, however, stayed uo surfing the plane's wifi system while Rico and Lucas fell asleep on their beds, with Rico hugging Piplup like a teddy bear. They were at peace, despite the plane noises and background sounds combining into unrecognizable reverberations.

11:20 p.m., less than an hour before midnight, the plane had touchdown at Kanto airport in the clear night. Everyone is now returning their pillows, blankets, and soft mattresses to flight attendants, while sleeping masks are allowed to be kept by the passengers as a memoriblia of their trip. In less than 20 minutes, the boarding bridge had attached to the plane's main exit and everyone are carrying their belongings and Pokémon and exited the plane in a line and without rushing. And as they walked along with the other passengers, Rico, while carrying his shoulder bag, said to his father, "Thank you, dad, for giving me the best experience ever."

"Pip-lup! (Thank you!)" Piplup happily responded while being carried by Rico.

"You're welcome, son," Lucas softly and brightly replied. "We are very lucky to get those tickets."

In 45 minutes, after claiming their baggages, the three of them exited the airport, hopped in Lucas' car, which had been parked at the airport's carpark for the entire vacation period, and left the airport. On the road to Pallet Town, the surroundings are dark and creepy, especially if lighting is absent, except for the few lights that brightened the small town.

10 minutes after midnight, they had arrived at Rico's house. After getting off the car, the three of them carried their belongings and Piplup and knocked at the front door. Inside, Rosario, after drinking a glass of MooMoo milk, answered them and opened the door.

"Oh, honey, you're home," she greeted them while yawning a bit.

"Yup, sweetheart, we're home," Lucas happily replied, "and we had a guest who needed some place to stay."

"Hi, there, uh, Mrs. Cruz," Isaiah cheerfully greeted her.

"Oh, I see, well, come in, kid," Rosario responded back without any hesitation. The three of them then come in to the living room and Rosario shut the door gently and mildly.

Almost to 1:00 a.m., Isaiah was now asleep on the couch while the family are sleeping in their rooms.
