Chapter 66 - 25 - Rico's Skills

After lunch, as the sun sets towards west, the group went to Rico's house while Rosario and Jonathan went grocery shopping. At his home, Rico directly led them upstairs to his room. The hallway in the second floor was brightened by the sun rays emitting from the outside

"Wow, this house looks nice," Serena commented nicely.

"Thanks, and this is our bedroom," Rico responded brightly. He opened the door of his room and opened the curtains of the window next to his desk. His group was amazed at his room, with Iris commenting, "Wow, this room looks neat." Her Axew then responded in positivity. Rico then get a tiny screwdriver from his special tool box for gadgets and resumed fixing the back of his phone, which is actually a replica one as practice. He then carefully put back the outer cover above the layer of wires, chips, and other, precious electronic parts and reattached the main cover and carefully realign it to its lining. Rico done this as a demonstration. Ash, Iris, and Serena were amazed by Rico's working skills in such a young age, with Ash commenting, "Wow, that's amazing." His Pikachu then responded in happy comment.

"That's so cool," Serena added a few in positivity.

"Thanks," Rico brightly replied.

Later on, once the gadget-fixing equipment are put away, Rico grabbed his brown, Spanish-style, wooden guitar and start playing it to the tune of "Mi Primer Pokémon." Simultaneously, Rico started singing it in a Spanish guitarist-style position. Listening to him with great attention, his friends and their Pokémon sat down in the floor laced with a nice carpet. This performance took nearly 3 minutes to complete, with high precision and right timing between notes and chords. By the end of the performance, his friends and Pokémon applaused his performance in enthusiasm.

"Wow, that was awesome," Iris commented.

"That song was really good," Serena commented in positivity.

"Pika!(Yeah!)" Pikachu responded in happiness. They finished clapping their hands, and Ash asked brightly, "Is that your song of yours?"

"Yup," Rico happily replied, "It took me a week to make that with poetry-style lyrics;" he then put back his guitar by hooking it up on a wall. Once that done, Ash, Iris, and Serena stand up along with their Pokémon on their shoulders.

"Man, I'm hungry," Ash commented in hunger.

"Can you cook anything for us?" Serena added.

"Sure!" Rico happily replied while crossing his arms. And so, they'll be eating some snacks as a break from Pokémon training and battle.

"Don't worry, guys," Rico informed them in positivity. "I'm almost done here."

"I'm so hungry and excited," Iris commented. Minutes later, Rico was done cooking his meal and served it to his friends. The heat emitted a spice-filled smell.

"Wow, it smelled so awesome," Ash commented. He and his friends then took a spoonful of Yellow Curry mixed with rice and eat it; and then, they got allured by its taste and creaminess.

"Wow, it was so delicious," Serena commented in being allured.

"A bit spicy but still full of spices," Iris added.

"Thanks," Rico happily replied, "I cooked this when I was like 9 years old."

"Wow, that's amazing," Serena responded back, "You're a great cook."

"You're good, Rico," Ash brightly added. He and others then resumed eating it in a normal speed as Rico smiled in approval, before sitting down and eat.

Half an hour later, they are now moving on to dessert. Their dessert is the tiramisu Rico made. When they all tasted it, they got also allured by its coffee taste and sweetness.

"Wow, what I made is so delicious and cold," Rico commented in being allured with happiness.

"This tiramisu is so sweet," Serena added. Pikachu and Axew then responded in happiness.

"Thanks," Rico happily responded.
