Chapter 53 - 12 - Finally, an Evolution!

The next day, after some early breakfast, Rico and Ash are outside on a green field playing with their Pokémon. It was a sunny day with a few, white clouds and Pidgeys and Pidoves flying across the sky in groups.

"So Ash?" Rico asked Ash in positivity, "How's your bond with your Pikachu?"

"Really strong," Ash replied in coolness while clenching his fist in coolness, "So strong even brainwashing could not break us apart." His Pikachu then responded in happy coolness.

"Wow, that's awesome," Rico replied in amazement, "Well, me and Riolu are having such a great bond;" he then ring Riolu's Soothe Bell, causing Riolu to be more happy.

"That's good, but you have to take care of it very much," Ash replied in approval.

"Yeah, I always do that," Rico brightly replied, "I balanced training and friendship to my Pokémon."

"Woah, that's a new concept," Ash replied in interesting, "Good for you then."

"Thanks!" Rico happily replied.

"Riolu (Thanks!)" Riolu happily responded. And then, suddenly, Riolu was glowing in evolving. This alerts its trainer, Ash, Pikachu, Rapidash, and Lycanroc, and Riolu was evolving, changing its body, size, and appearance.

"What's happening?" Rico asked in stunning and amazement.

"It's... It's evolving," Ash answered him in amazement, "And now it is a..." Then, Riolu evolved into Lucario, responding in loud coolness and make a cool pose.

"Wow!" Ash retorted in excitement while clenching his fists in enthusiasm, "Your Riolu just evolved into Lucario!" Standing up in amazement, Rico pointed his Pokédex towards Lucario; his Pokédex then responded, "Lucario, the Aura Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Riolu. A Fighting and Steel-type. It has the ability to sense the Auras of all things. By catching the Aura emanating from others, it can read their thoughts and movements."

"Wow, that's so cool and awesome, "Rico commented in surprise upon hearing this. He then put down his Pokédex and looked towards Lucario, who have acted in normal seriousness.

"Lucario, is that you?" he asked it in stunning.

"Lucar,(Yes,)" Lucario responded in mild seriousness. Rico walked closer to it in stunning and approaching, and then, hugged in embrace.

"Man, Lucario, you finally evolved" he exclaimed in happiness and relief.

"Lucario!(Thanks!)" Lucario responded in happiness as it hugs back. It and Rico then discharged from hugging, as Ash and his Pokémon became happy about this.

"Well, congrats, Rico," Ash brightly commented while crossing his arms, "That's your reward for your great care of your Pokémon."

"Thanks!" Rico happily replied. He then turned to his Lucario, and took off its Soothe Bell, telling it, "Well, I think you don't need this one now. I'll just keep here just in case. Okay?"

"Lucario!(Okay!)" Lucario happily responded. Rico then shoved the Soothe Bell into his pants pocket.

"So, uh, you wanna see its new moves?" Ash asked him. His Pikachu then responded in happy asking.

"Sure!" Rico answered them while clenching his fists in enthusiasm. Then to his Lucario, "Hey Lucario, can you show your new moves?" Lucario then responded by happily nodding to say yes.

At the forest, Lucario was looking at a tree in determination while Rico, Ash, and his Pokémon are watching it.

"Alright, Lucario, show us what you got!" Rico commanded Lucario in enthusiasm. Lucario then nodded in agreement, and looked towards the tree; it then learned and used Force Palm, running up to the tree and puts its palm on it. It then fires a huge light green blast from its paw at it, producing a clean hole through the tree log. This shocks and amazes everyone, with Rico commenting, "Woah, what's that move?"

"That's Force Palm," Ash brightly explained, "It's a Fighting-type move that uses its palm to attack." His Pikachu then responded in excited commenting.

"Wow, that's awesome, Lucario!" Rico responded to Lucario in enthusiasm.

"Lucar,(Yeah,)" Lucario responded in seriousness.

"What else you have?" Rico replied in enthusiasm and positivity. In response, Lucario learned and used Bullet Punch, striking the tree with a tough punch as fast as a bullet, completely breaking the tree log into two with a loud bang. This shocks and amazes everyone even more, with Rico commenting, "Wow, what is that?"

"That's Bullet Punch," Ash brightly explained, "That's a Steel-type move. Its punch is fast as a bullet."

"Oh, I see," Rico replied in knowing. Then to his Lucario in enthusiasm, "Wow, that's a lot awesome and stronger, Lucario." Lucario then turned around and happily responded. Its spikes reflected the sunlight a bit.

"Well, that was good," Ash said while crossing his arms and closing his eyes in smiling, "By the way, you wanna battle with me as a test of your bond with it?" Clenching his fist in determination, Rico responded with confidence, "Sure! I can take it!" His Lucario then responded in a mix of determination and coolness.
