Chapter 51 - 10 - Ash's Girlfriend and her Fire-Psychic Pokémon

Later by 2:54, p.m., after lunch, Rico, Ash, and their Pokémon are taking a walk across Pallet Town while touring the place.

"So, Rico?" Ash asked him in positivity

"Yes?" Rico replied.

"Do you have any friends?" Ash asked him in positivity. His Pikachu then responded in happy asking. Thinking about this, Rico answered, "Some school friends and region friends." Riolu, on Rico's shoulder, then responded in answering.

"Oh, that's normal for kids like you," Ash replied.

"Yeah," Rico replied in positivity, "Also, I had a detective friend, and a girl named Da-" he then shut his mouth with his hands in realizing that he shouldn't say Dawn's name.

"What?" Ash responded in puzzling.

"It's nothin', it's nothin'," Rico made an excuse while producing a sweat for few seconds, "Just forget about it. Hehe." Analyzing what he was talking and thinking about, Ash took a deep breath and briefly responded, "Oh, you met a girl named Dawn." Shocked by this, Rico retorted, "What? H-How did you know what I'm about to say?"

"I can tell because of the D-a letters in the front of it," Ash seriously replied, "And Dawn's my friend too."

"She is?" Rico replied in stunning.

"Yes," Ash replied briefly.

"Oh, okay," Rico calmly replied. And then thinking, "I should be more careful what am I thinking." And then, moments later, as both boys reached an intersection, a pretty girl with a nice hat and clothes encountered them by coincidence. Upon seeing her, Ash greeted her, "Hi, Serena. Good morning." Upon seeing him, that girl, named Serena, then greeted him back, "Morning, Ash." Upon seeing them knowing each other, Rico was mildly surprised, and thought, "What? They know each other?" He then asked Ash, "Ash, who's that girl?"

"Oh, this is Serena," Ash cheerfully introduced Serena to Rico, "My..." Serena then gestures to Ash not to reveal their relationship.

"....my friend, yeah, my best friend," Ash made a diversion. Being suspicious by this, Rico retorted, "Are hiding something from me?"

"No, no, no," Ash and Serena responded quickly, "We're just friends." Lowering his guard and suspicion down, Rico replied, "Oh, okay." Sighing in relief, Ash and Serena thought, "That was so close."

Meanwhile, at a mountain base near the Abandoned Power Plant, Red Eye and his two other comrades, Blue Eye and Purple Eye, are having a meeting, discussing about their plans and ways how to get rid of Blue Ninja and Rico. Their rapport, however, is strong, serious, and acts like psychopaths.

"So," Red Eye started their discussion as he slide a piece of paper across the table, "This is our targets." Taking a look of it, they responded, "Those two?"

"What did they do?" Blue Eye asked briefly.

"Well, that's a good question," Red Eye responded, "They destroyed my plans of controlling Arceus, and this young boy is, I believed, his ȧssociate and accomplice of this masked dude."

"Why you didn't tell us this a long time ago?" Purple Eye asked him in response while relaxing on a sofa in style.

"Sorry about that," Red Eye replied in apology. Then in a brief, settled attitude, "But anyway, these kids are our enemies. And our plan is taking control of Dialga and Palkia, using my even more-improved weapon that had the ability to manipulate multiple Pokémon." Thinking about this, his comrades nodded in agreement with him. Red Eye then smiled in evil and style.

Meanwhile back at Pallet Town, at the hilly meadows, Rico, Ash, Serena, and their Pokémon are sitting on the cool, green grass, playing with each other.

"So, Rico's your name, right?" Serena asked Rico.

"Yes, I am!" Rico happily replied. Riolu then responded in happiness.

"And your first Pokémon is Riolu, right?" Serena replied in asking.

"Yes, it is!" Rico happily answered her. Riolu then responded in agreement.

"So, tell us, how did you caught that Pokémon?" Ash asked him.

"Yeah, that'll be a good story to tell," Serena added in excitement while rapidly clapping her hands a few times.

"Okay, okay, I'll tell you how," Rico settled them down; he then told them how he caught Riolu, in every detail. Half an hour later, Ash, Serena, and their Pokémon are stunned and amazed at his story, with Ash commenting, "Wow, that was awesome and heroic. You rescued it from Red Eye? That was so heroic of you." His Pikachu then responded in happiness and joy.

"That was so kind of you, Rico," Serena added. Her first Pokémon, Delphox, then responded in calm happiness.

"Thanks!" Rico happily replied. Then to Delphox in discovering excitement, "Wow, who's that Pokémon?"

"That's Delphox, my first Pokémon," Serena brightly answered him. In response, Rico pointed his Pokédex towards Delphox; his Pokédex then responded, "Delphox, the Fox Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Fennekin. A Fire and Psychic-type. It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future."

"Wow, that's so awesome," Rico commented in excitement upon hearing this. He put his Pokédex down and said to Delphox in happiness, "Nice to meet you, Delphox." Riolu and Piplup then greeted it in response.

"Delphox, Delp(Nice to meet you, too),"Delphox greeted them back. Ash and Serena then became happy about this.
