Chapter 307 Partial To Yiling

Tang Bingyi was a very calm person; she seldom showed happiness and she seldom got mad. But today was different.

"Grandfather, why did you allow Yiling to do such stupid things consecutively?! The company stock has dropped by 5% and people are beginning to think we've compromised our ideals!" Tang Bingyi practically shrieked.

Elder Kang was sure that he knew that Tang Bingyi was calling him for, but when he picked up the phone and heard her voice consumed with anger, he didn't know what to say or what to do.

The company was important to Elder Tang, and now that she managed it, it was important to Tang Bingyi also. In all it's years, the company had always been on top, and Tang Bingyi would be damned if it fell from its perch in her reign.

Tang Bingyi needed to fix this, as fast as possible.

Elder Tang was angry at Tang Yiling also, and he wanted to fix the problem but all that swarmed in his head were complaints of Tang Yiling... He wanted to speak to Tang Bingyi about them, but he did not want to add fuel to the anger between cousins so he said, "I'm sure it's not that bad... we should be able to fix it."

"Statistically speaking, yes, this can be fixed but our reputation will never be the same." After saying this, Tang Bingyi paused. "I sent you a link to what the netizens have been saying about us. Tell me if you think you have any idea about how to proceed. Although, before I can do anything, I need some answers in order to make a peoper decision regarding the situation." Tang Bingyi said coldly.

Hearing this, the elder nodded and then, he explained all he knew about the situation. Frankly, he didn't know much. He knew what had happened, but he didn't know how Tang Yiling had accomplished getting the performance moved or the judging changed...

Did the girl have talents he didn't know about?

Tang Yiling was a people person who knew how to be likeable but she was not memorable in the slightest. Unlike Tang Bingyi, the girl used shallow or underhanded methods so people would remember her. This focused primarily on Tang Yiling giving others gifts or special privileges.

Finding the contact information of the judges of Trailblazers was hard. This had forced her to go look through her father's phone but after that, speaking to them, and then bribing them, was like a walk in the park. She was in her comfort zone.

Elder Tang didn't know this about Tang Yiling, he never quite paid much attention to how she was at making friends since the girl seemed to always be surrounded by them, on the other hand, Tang Bingyi always found herself alone. The old man had thought that Tang Yiling was fine and so he paid more attention to Tang Bingyi but truly, her heart had darkened due to this. Tang Yiling wanted to be the centre of everyone's attention...

After she had heard enough from Elder Tang concerning what Tang Yiling had done, Tang Bingyi frowned before she spoke with distaste. "Yiling knew exactly what she was doing. She should be disciplined"

Elder Tang: "I know... but this will be something for Yian and me to decide."

When he finished saying this, Elder Tang heard a sound that he couldn't believe came from Tang Bingyi.

Tsk!

The girl had just clicked her tongue!

"Grandfather, you know Uncle. When it comes to music he's harsh, but when it comes to life, he is too partial to Yiling. He's going to try to play it off as no big deal and then sooner or later it will become a problem for not only the company but the family itself." Tang Bingyi said.

Tang Bingyi's words were harsh, but they were also so calm and formal. This made it hard for the old man to disagree.

Concerning how he would make sure that Tang Yiling was punished, he had a lot of thinking to do... Elder Tang did not want to make another mistake which would lead to Tang Yian leaving again. He had really regretted kicking both Tang Yian and Tang Lang all those years ago. Sometimes he thought that if he hadn't done that, both his sons would have not faced misfortune.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Tang Luoyi was drinking tea with a smug smile plastered on his thin lips.

He had caused trouble for Tang Yiling, but Tang Yiling had caused trouble for Tang Bingyi. Tang Luoyi wanted to laugh. This situation only left him as the only one who benefitted.

Due to Tang Yiling's stupidity, she had hurt the company stocks, which in turn triggered articles and comments revolving around how Tang Bingyi could not properly manage the company or her own family.

Reading the netizens comments, Tang Luoyi felt a bit bad but this is what Tang Bingyi got for stealing his place in both the company and in the family.

Elder Tang was already semi retired. The old man still loved entertainment but he could no longer sustain such responsibilities as managing a company. Back then, this had left him with only two options, considering he didn't know much about Tang Yiling's abilities, the old man believed that there was only one person fit for the job. With this thought in mind, he had given all of his past responsibilities to Tang Bingyi.

Due to this, the problems happening with the company now where all being blamed on her.

PR had been dispatched but the best they could do was claim that Tang Yiling had done this independently, which just caused more outrage because many people already rightly assumed that Tang Yiling was not going to drop out of Trailblazers despite the obvious conflict of interest.

Thinking about this, Tang Luoyi smiled but it suddenly disappeared when Tang Yiling came storming into the room.

Immediately laying her eyes on him, Tang Yiling walked towards the man with a vengeance.

Tang Yiling then threw the phone Tang Luoyi's way and screamed, "You're such an asshole!"

Hearing this, Tang Luoyi knew exactly what this was about but instead of admitting to his wrongs he frowned.

Seeing his face, Tang Yiling crossed her arm over her chest before saying, "I can't believe you sold me out."

Tang Yiling knew she was going to get in trouble but she didn't expect to get in trouble so early. She knew her grandfather and he didn't check the news much so she thought she was safe until a time closer to the actual event.

Yes, he would be mad about using his birthday party but eventually, she knew she would be forgiven as her father had been...

Truly, Tang Yiling didn't know why her Tang Yian had been kicked out of the Tang family, so many years ago, but by the way his face would darken at the slightest mention of if, Tang Yiling believed that it had been horrible but no matter how many times she asked him about it, he would never tell her. The only thing she knew was that after all this time, Tang Yian was still able to come back to the family.

Looking at her with complete innocence, Tang Luoyi sighed.

"Look, I wasn't trying to get you in trouble!" Tang Luoyi said with fake honesty as he scrolled down the news page, revealing an article where people were criticizing Tang Bingyi for her trying to have an affair with Kang Jun. he then handed his phone back to Tang Yiling."I was showing him this, but then the old man scrolled up."

Tang Bingyi was not stupid enough to completely believe him, but she was not smart enough to dismiss the man's words as a lie.

Seeing her hesitation, Tang Luoyi wanted to smile but he held back.

"Look, I have a proposition for you." Tang Luoyi said slightly sinisterly. "How about you help me get the company from my sister, and I'll help you get what you want most?"

Hearing this, Tang Yiling was intrigued. "Okay... and what is it do you think I want?"

Tang Luoyi: "Kang Jun, right?"

Tang Luoyi had heard that Tang Yiling was hostile towards Lu AnLing. At first, the boy didn't really pay attention to this, but when looking back, he could understand why the girl was jealous. Lu AnLing had gotten Kang Jun and all the riches and status that came with marrying the man...

Listening to Tang Luoyi say this, Tang Yiling almost scoffed.

"Wrong." Tang Yiling said, utilizing all the attitude in her voice. She then leaned over the table, hovering right above Tang Luoyi and said, "I want to crush Lu AnLing so hard that she gives up on living."

Most people who would hear this would most likely feel shiver travel down their spine. They were talking about intense bullying here. And yet, Tang Luoyi didn't feel a thing. He just saw an opening.

Tang Luoyi shrugged. "That can be arranged."
