94 Chapter 93: The dragon

Name:Part Wolf Author:obsessedWithWolves
Elize was tensed that somehow her two seniors had gotten a wrong idea about the situation. Her heart was beating way too fast as their suspicious gaze bore into her. She wanted to clarify everything to them but she was too nervous. She tried to calm herself down as she knew that to both the werewolves who could probably hear it, she would have looked quite guilty. She glared at the Kelpie, trying to push him to rectify the situation. It was obvious that he knew what was going on in the seniors' minds as he languidly sat on the bench, looking at the werewolves with an indifferent expression.

"I-I'm sorry." Eun Ae quickly apologized, her cheeks suddenly reddening. "Have I asked something personal sir?" She asked curiously.

Elize's eyes grew wide. This conversation was going in the exact direction that she didn't want it to. She knew what the Kelpie would answer to that, given his cocky attitude. If she wanted to rectify the situation, she had to speak up before he did. Thankfully, Lloyd didn't seem like he was going to answer that. Instead, he turned to face Elize with a mischievous smile.

"What are you looking at?" Elize asked, irritated.

"Elize!" Eun Ae exclaimed in shock. "You can't talk to him like tha-"

"Oh?" Lloyd asked, turning to the senior. His expression had suddenly turned sour. "And who are you to tell her that?" He asked, raising a brow.

Elize couldn't believe what was happening in front of her. Eun Ae's face had already turned pale at Lloyd's remark. Was the horse intentionally trying to ruin her peace in the academy or something? Why would he say something like that to Eun Ae?! She was going to be her mentor for a whole year! From the looks of it, Eun Ae was quite shocked. It must be the first time someone had talked to her like that. Oh shit! She was gong to be in huge trouble as soon as the Kelpie disappeared, she thought crying inside.

Eun Ae stared at Lloyd, on the verge of tears. "I-"

"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding Eun Ae." Elize quickly apologized, taking a step towards the girl.

Eun Ae took a step back as she did, making Elize more nervous. She knew that if she didn't rectify the situation immediately, it was going to get worse. She certainly didn't want to be on the bad side of one of the most popular girls in the school who also happened to be her mentor. Elize took another step forward, trying to reach out to her

"Eun Ae I-"

In the blink of an eye, Lang Jin grabbed her extended hand, blocking her view of Eun Ae. Elize reflexively tried to step back, but the wolf didn't seem like he wanted to let go. He growled in warning, narrowing his eyes at her. His grip tightened around her hand, making her wince in pain.

"Oww!" Elize yelped, glaring at the senior.

Lang Jin seemed unfazed, his cold glare boring into her. At that moment, she knew why everyone feared each member of the Disciplinary Committee. Legolas was right, Lang Jin was ruthless. He was deriving his fun from hurting her, without holding back. Elize felt helpless all of a sudden. If she had her powers, no one would have dared to touch her like this. No one would have dared to challenge her like this. She had never hated being human, more than she did now.

"Let go." Elize warned between clenched teeth.

"You're nothing more than a wereling." Lang Jin spat. "How dare you-"

"You'd better let go if you want to keep that hand of yours." The Kelpie's voice warned from behind.

Lang Jin hesitated for a moment, before dropping her hand. He quickly stepped back as he did, his jaw clenching in anger. Elize clutched her hand to her chest. The area where he had gripped her had turned purple. She turned to face the Kelpie, holding back her tears.

Lloyd stood up from the bench, his expression hardening as his gaze landed on the bruise. He looked up at face with narrowed eyes.

"Apologize to her." Lloyd said in an irritated tone.

"You heard him." Lang Jin said arrogantly. "Apologize to Eun Ae now! Not only did you disrespect your senior by addressing her by her name but you also caused a misunderstanding between her and the Vice Principal."

If Elize wasn't trying hard not to cry from the pain, she would have laughed at him. Was Lang Jin clueless or was he plain stupid?! She thought, raising her brow at the senior.

"What are you looking at?!" The wolf asked irritated.

"She was seeing if you were as stupid as you sounded." Lloyd replied, not giving her a chance to answer the question.

"What?" Lang Jin asked, surprise flashing on his face.

"Didn't you hear me when I asked you to apologize to Elize? Or are you deaf?" The Kelpie asked, folding his hands over his chest.

Something flashed in Lloyd's eyes, making the green of his pupils suddenly appear dangerous. Elize had never seen him like this before. She felt like eyes which lazily glanced over the two seniors were holding something inside it, something too dangerous to be let out.

"I- I apologize Mister Irving." Eun Ae stuttered, "Jin was only trying to protect me."

"From who? Someone as good as a human? I thought werewolves were supposed to be quite strong." Lloyd asked, raising his left brow.

"Look it's fine." Elize said interrupting.

Although she was enjoying the power balance which was tilting to a side which was heavily favorable to her, she knew that she had to put an end to it before things got out of control. She was here to lead a normal life as a nobody, Elize reminded herself. It could only be achieved if she successfully stayed out of trouble.

Eun Ae, nodded to her. "Thank yo-"

"It's not okay. He has to apologize." Lloyd said cutting in.

Elize's head snapped toward the Kelpie.

'Cut it out.' She mouthed.

"What?" Lloyd asked, acting as if he couldn't hear her. "You want him to kneel down on the ground?"

Elize's jaw dropped. What game was he playing now?

Narrowing her eyes at him, she whispered. "I said cut it out."

Lloyd's hand went to his mouth, feigning surprise.

"No way! You want them both to kneel down and plead to you?!" He exclaimed.

"You-" Elize began.

"Vice Principal Irving." Lloyd corrected.

Elize clenched her teeth. "Fine. Vice Principal irving." She spat. "You know that's not what I said."

"Look, I don't know what's going on between you two." Lang Jin said cutting in. "This is class hours. And with all due respect sir, you're disrupting it."

Lloyd chuckled. Somehow he looked more annoyed like that. He cocked his head to the side, his face suddenly becoming serious. That's when she saw it- it was a dragon! The creature, or rather what looked like an apparition of one was slowly unfurling itself behind the Kelpie. She had no doubt about where it came from. She had just seen it coming out of him. She could hear it rumble in irritation. Was she the only one who was seeing this?! There was a fucking dragon behind the water horse?! What was happening to the world?! Weren't Kelpies supposed to be water horses?! Where did the dragon come from now?! Her breath hitched as he saw the murderous intent in his eyes.

She screamed. "Lloyd don-"

But it was too late. The dragon breathed fire on to Lang Jin. A thunderous roar shaking the surroundings in the process. Elize staggered back in shock as both of her senior's hands were engulfed in what seemed like blue flames.

"Aaaaaaaaaarggghhhhhhhhhhhh!" Lang Jin screamed in pain.

"Vice Principal Irving please!" Eun Ae screamed, horrified.

"Lloyd stop it!" Elize exclaimed, quickly grabbing on to the Kelpie's hand.

As soon as her skin touched his, Lloyd's expression changed. He looked down at her with an amused look.

"Please, stop." She pleaded, sounding more like a threat than a request.

He suddenly laughed, his mood taking a whole three sixty degree turn. Elize looked at him in awe as the roaring apparition behind him dissipated into thin air. Who was this man? She wondered, awestruck.

"Fuck man! It hurts!" Lang Jin cursed loudly.

Elize quickly stepped away from the gray haired Kelpie awkwardly. She was suddenly embarrassed. For a moment, she had forgotten the nature of their relationship. She had called him by his first name. No way! She didn't want to be on first name basis with him, she thought panicking.

"I said apologize mutt!" Lloyd roared, startling her.

"Fine I'm sorry!" Lang Jin spat.

"That's more like it." Lloyd said with a satisfied smirk. Turning towards Elize he asked, "You want him to kneel?"

Elize looked at the man incredulously. Was he nuts?!

"No!" She exclaimed. She turned towards her seniors and quickly bowed. "Please forgive me seniors. I'm extremely sorry."

There was no reply. Elize cursed under her breath. Please accept the apology quick! She prayed.

"You two want to say something to your junior?" Lloyd asked, stepping forward to keep a hand on Elize's bent shoulder.

She resisted to no avail as he forced her up. He was too damn strong for her right now.

"That- That's okay Elize." Eun Ae stuttered, fear flashing on her face. "We're the ones who should be sorry!"

"No!" Elize protested. "That's not what I-"

"If that's all, I'd like to go about my work now." Lloyd said yawning.

He looked at Elize with a breathtaking smile. "Take care darling. We'll catch up later."

Elize 's jaw dropped. Who was he calling darling?!

"I have my eyes on you wolves." He said walking away. "You better treat her like a queen."

The damn Kelpie! Elize cursed silently. She turned around towards the ground. Her heart dropped as she finally noticed what she had failed to earlier. The whole class was now looking at her with a shocked look.

"Back to training Elize." Eun Ae said, walking towards the rest of the class.

Shit! She was done for today!
