"The pleasure is all mine. I must even thank the Count for inviting me to your Wine Party" Kervy replied politely. He was giving the Count the same treatment as the one he gives to Jermaine and Jerome. The only people he do not treat as merely polite were Clyde and Ryden

As such, after seeing that he was indeed being treated like a stranger by the Second Prince, Jermaine's expression was as ugly as it could be

In the end, to try and lower the people he thinks that are really much lower compared to him, Jermained decided to talk with the Count. "Sir Rosen, my brother and I brought a high quality wine from a foreign country. Would you like to taste it?" Jermaine asks and because of his status in the Duke and even the Emperor's heart, the Count could not possibly offend such a person

"I would be honored to do so" The Count replied yet he was acting the same as Kervy, only being respectful and polite. But since Jermained does not necessarily care about the Count, that treatment was fine with him

With an evil smile, Jermaine turned to look at his illegitimate brother. "Oh, before I forgot, I think third brother also brought some wine. It was even from your own recipe, right? Why don't we let the Count taste both of our wine and compare which one was better?" Jermaine provoked

In his eyes, the high quality wine that he and his legitimate brother spends a great deal amount of effort to get is naturally superior that any kind of wine that his illegetimate brother brought here. Jermaine is filled with utmost confidence, never would he think that a wine from a recipe that someone like Clyde think of can be superior to the wine that he has

The Count's countenance turned a bit ugly. He does not want to be in the middle of a siblingship rivalry but there is no proper reason for him to refuse since Jermaine made it sound like it would only be a friendly comparison

Clyde stared at hi half brother with eyes red in rage. Although Clyde is also confident that his wine tastes really good it was another matter to compare it with the type of wine that people from a Ducal household could take a hold off

After all, those high quality wines that these people would boast about are mostly limited editions and tastes really good

The wine that Clyde has brought might be tasty for him, Ryden, David, and the earthlings but it was hard to say if most people in the Empire especially the count would feel the same

As such, Clyde is only expecting to receive a praise from the Count but to say that it would be the Wine of the Night and could compare to the one that Jermaine brought has to be proven yet

"Certainly but I must say that this old Count palces particular importance in integrity. I would only choose the one that I think is the tastier" the Count said

Although Jermaine has a high status, as a Count and the most well known wine critique in the Empire, Count Rosen cannot and would not lie. He wouldn't not risk damaging the reputation that he had for years

"Hahaha, of course, of course. We trust that the Count would be impartial. Third brother, no hard feelings even if the wine you spent time and effort to develop lose, right?" Jermaine said in a mocking manner

He wants to crush the confidence of that brother of his that dared to receive a warm treatment from the prince that he wants to be his

"Yes, yes, it would also be fun to see what wines tastes better" Clyde replied. He can only bite the bullet 

If he were to refuse, that would be seen as him chickening out and that would be detrimental for the business he was starting

Clyde only wants to attend this wine party so that his wine might receive some praise from the Count and help make his business to prosper

He did not expect that these brothers of his would also be in this place and ruin his night. If Clyde knew about it beforehand then he might have decided not to attend this party

With that, they called some servants to fetch the wine that the two sides brought 

They were also given some space by the guests though they loitered around

They were curious to see the result of this taste testing

The Nobles are sure that whatever wine that Jermaine brought would taste splendid. There was no doubt about that

They are not sure for the wine that Clyde brought but since it received the Second Prince's praise then it might also have a little chance of winning

The guests gathered around the two sides, watching as two bottles of red wine were slowy poured into the wine glass

As the guests are a bit far, they can only smell a faint scent of the two wines. They both have a good smell that makes people salivate and can't wait to have a taste of

However, in the end, it was still the taste that is the most important

To be even fair, the two sides did not say what wine are theirs so as to make sure that the Count would be completely impartial

As such, the Count took the glass that is the closest from him

He sniff the fine wine's scent first and immersed himself into it before taking a small aio

The Count let the wine sit in his tongue for a few seconds before he swallowed it and his eyes glowed

That wine is indeed tasty. Even with the countless wine that the Count has already tasted his entire life, that wine was still one of the best

At normal times, the Count would give out comments and explain how the wine tastes but this time, he refrained from doing so

He does not want to offend any side. One is the legitimate child of the Duke and is also a person that the Emperor is fond of

The other person on the other hand although unsupported and illegitimate still has a husband that could become a killing machine any moment from now

If Count were to say something to offend him then his head might roll in the ground in the next second 

The Count washed his palate first before he took the other wine glass in his hand

Just like what he did to the first wine, he also sniffed the wine first and he has to admit that this one smells better

Although the cases are not 100%, most of the time, the wine that has a better aroma would also taste better

In anticipation, the Count also took a small sip and let it sit in his tongue for a moment yet his reaction was more exaggerated with this wine

His eyes went wide open as he stared at the glass in his hand with a surprise

He had never tastes such a wine before! Although it was a red wine that is the most common type of wine in the Empire, it tastes was still far more superior than any other red wine he had a taste of!

The Count originally don't want to say much but he can't help but exclaim in excitement 

"This! This is too good! The wines I have tasted before paled in comparison to this one! Who would have expect that such a wine could actually be created in this world? Surprising, this is too suprising!" The Count exclaimed in surprise and he even forgot the ongoing 'war' between the two sides as his wine lover side kicked in

"Who? Who have this wine? Tell me where I can get more!" He said excitedly and the two opposing sides have different kind of reaction

Jermaine was seething with anger, his fists were clenched tightly that they turned red and his veins popped in it

His face was of complete rage, contrary to the smiling expression that Clyde has

He was nervous earlier but with the Count's reaction and praise, Clyde completely won this battle

"Sir Rosen, it was my wine" Clyde answered with a smile. He was acting a bit boastfully purposely as he look at his half brother

"Brother, no hard feelings, right?" He said referring to Jermaine's words earlier

The omega was provoked too much this night and he finally exploded

"Shut up you bitch! I can't accept this! How can a wine a bastard like you has created be superior to the one that I have?" He said angrily with a loud voice. His expression getting uglier the more seconds that passed

"Count! What is the meaning of this?! Are you trying to embarass me in public?!" He questioned and the Count frowned at him

No matter what he is still a Noble and Jermaine is just an omega of a Noble. The Count cannot have this kind of treatment!
