Chapter 11 - Making A Scene (2)

Ryden's voice was loud enough to attract the people's attention and they wondered what the Prince is up to

"I don't care if you ignore me or whatever, what I cannot accept is that all of you are also ignoring my wife!"

A dangerous aura spreads with Ryden at the center. He might look like a goofy guy but he is a man that always fought on the battlefield!

The amount of blood his hands have drawn is enough to make a river. It was easy for him to suppress people with his aura

In fact, Clyde wasn't much different compared to the other people. All he has is his brilliant mind but he doesn't have any bloody experience aside from his own death

He can't help but be suppressed by how dominating his husband's aura was. But even then, he could only grit his teeth as he hold Ryden's shoulder

"Y-Your Highness, I-I am f-fine. P-please don't be a-angry" Clyde pleaded for the Nobles, giving himself an even more naive image

Clyde is now an Imperial Princess, a part of the Royal Family. Even if his husband is an Illegitimate child, a Prince is still a Prince

Ryden and his wife should still receive respect even from the Nobles

"T-that's right. Your Highness, why are you trying to make us the bad guy when we didn't do anything wrong?" One of the Nobles regained his courage after witnessing how Clyde has acted

The Princess is a timid and meek guy while his husband has an empty title. What is there to be afraid of?

If he manages to turn this around, he might even receive some 'compensation' from the 6th Prince's side

"Didn't do anything wrong?! Are you saying that ignoring the wife that His Majesty himself has given to me is not wrong? My wife was personally bestowed by His Majesty! Is he a person that any of you could blatantly ignore?! " Ryden shouted angrily with a red face while feeling proud of himself

It really feels like he just entered a world of Historical Drama series. Back on earth, we can all agree that most people have thought about acting and becoming famous

Acting in real life like this gives Ryden a sense of accomplishment. He even starts thinking that maybe he should have become an actor when he was still on earth

He might become famous and earn a lot of money easier

The Prince was on the verge of smiling if his wife didn't notice that. For the nth time, Clyde has given his husband a pinch in the arm to return him to reality

"Are you all looking down on our Emperor by ignoring my consort?!" Ryden continued

His words were formulated by Clyde. If it was just for the sake of them, the Nobles wouldn't think much of it. They might even reverse the situation into their favors

However, once the Emperor is included, everything would change. No matter what, this wedding is decided by the Emperor

Looking down on the wife is the same as looking down at His Majesty's choice. Hence, the Nobles were taken aback as they didn't know what to say anymore

One wrong step would have put them in a bad light as they could offend the Emperor

'Nice, this jerk is doing a good job' Clyde thought and his eyes sneakily turned to look around him and they locked on a certain someone

That someone is another key for the performance that Clyde wants to have and he decided to push the situation further

"Y-Your Highness, I-I couldn't blame them. I'm j-just a nobody, a l-lowly illegitimate child" Clyde said in a low voice but since the reception area was silent because of the Prince's outburst, his words still entered the ears of a lot of people

After hearing what his wife has said, Ryden acted as if he realized something in accordance with Clyde's plan

"Hahahaha! I see! These Nobles are also looking down at me because I am also an illegitimate child. That was the reason why they look down on the bride that His Majesty personally gifted to me! I can't believe that an Imperial Prince would receive such treatment!"

Ryden deliberately repeated how this marriage and the bride was bestowed by His Majesty so that the Nobles would have a hard time refuting his words

This works on most people but there were some people that this wouldn't work on

From the crowd, a certain someone steps out. This man has blonde golden hair just like Ryden but his eyes were red in color

This trait is proof that he is also a child of the Emperor but compared to Ryden, he was a legitimate one

Riley Carstensen - the fifth Omega/Princess of the Royal Family. He was the second youngest Princess and he has a spoiled personality

He thinks that he is above the masses since he is a legitimate Princess. His mother isn't the Empress but the 2nd Queen of the Empire but as long as a concubine is a Queen from a Noble Family, their child would still be a legitimate one

Even though the 5th Princess is the child of the 2nd Queen, he still has a considerably high status. Not only was his mother an omega from a high ranking Noble Family, but he was also only below the Empress and the 1st Queen

If that wasn't enough, the 2nd Queen is even the Empress' loyal dog. The two of them are cooperating with each other to suppress the other Queens

With the Empress being the most powerful omega in the Empire having the 2nd Queen as a loyal aide, all the other Queens' power is weaker than theirs

This made the 5th Princess an arrogant spoiled brat especially since he is close with the 1st Prince, the one that could possibly become the Crowned Prince and the next Emperor

The arrogant Princess is famous for his bratty personality that entered even Clyde's ears

With him present here, it wasn't hard to rile him up to create an even bigger scene

"Shut up you son of a bitch! How dare an illegitimate like you act like a real Prince?! You are being really annoying!" The brat shouted and the Nobles became excited

They couldn't deal with Ryden because of his perfectly crafted words (thanks to Clyde) but the 5th Princess is different!

He wasn't called a brat for no reason. This omega always look down and bully those below him even if they were also part of the Imperial Family

Since he has the 2nd Queen as his mother that has the Empress' support, most Princes and Princesses couldn't do anything to him

After seeing the Princess, Clyde acted scared as his whole body trembled that entered the eyes of everyone

"You're an illegitimate and your wife is also illegitimate! What are you acting proud for?" The Princess continued and he didn't even care about the 6th Prince at all

He steps forwards and was about to slap Ryden when Clyde shielded his husband

Pak!

The 'crispy' slap sounds reverberated in the area. With how 'frail' the Second Omega of the Rothland Duchy, the slap must have hurt him greatly, visible at how he fell down

The Nobles gasp at this while the 5th Princess sneered

"Damn rat, why are you blocking me?!" Riley said angrily and Ryden was about to avenge his wife when Clyde stops him

No matter what, the two of them are married now. Ryden can't just let his wife suffer like this, if not, what kind of husband was he?

Unfortunately, Clyde stops him with a look. Ryden wanted to know why his wife stops him and fortunately, it didn't take that long

Among the crowd, more people have stepped out and the Nobles made way for these people

The Duke and Duchess of Rothland step forwards. The former has an ugly expression on his face while the latter was happy at how things unfolded

"Your Highness" the Duke greeted coldly and the arrogant omega raised his head proudly

"What is it, Duke?"

"Your Highness, you are one of the Empire's Great Star, a child of His Majesty the Emperor but it doesn't mean you could just slap everyone"

If the Nobles secretly despise Clyde then that's alright for the Duke. Things are different though if they not only harm Clyde but also did it publicly even if that is the 5th Princess

Unlike the Princess that only has his birth as his backing, the Duke of Rothland has real power in his hands

To show respect to the Emperor, the Dukes must also respect the Princes and Princesses no matter what their standings are

However, the Dukes also couldn't be bullied by the Royal Family. After all, most of the time, they have the highest power among the Nobility and are only second to the Imperial Family

If the Dukes show respect to the Royal Family, the Royal Family should also at least give them appropriate respect especially when in public!
