Li Yuran simply couldn't stay any longer as he had had enough of this. Watching his disappearing back, Li Yuri laughed as she giggled. 'He's probably gonna take his revenge once Bro Shan leaves! But before he does anything, I must gain the upper hand by taking action first!'

When she was busy cooking some plans in her mind, she heard Ji Shi Ya ask them, "What is 'Student's Help Club' actually?" Lu Jeong Shan was going to reply but Li Yuri did it instead: "Mom, the club is literally for helping students with their problems! It can also be considered as counselling.. This club is managed by students so they can relate with the fellow student's problems.."

Lu Jeongshan nodded in agreement. Li Yuri then proceeded to say, "We're going to start managing the club next week so I think I'll be returning home later than usual from now on.." Ji Shi Ya looked at her daughter with warm eyes, "Xiao Ri, Mother is very happy with you! If only your elder brother could be a little more sensible like you, I could die without any regrets left!"

Li Yuran made the right choice of leaving early, otherwise if he had listened to her words, he would've spat mouthfuls of blood instantly! When Li Yuri heard the end of her sentence, she became speechless: "Mother, can you not talk of dying so casually?!"

Ji Shi Ya sighed as she laughed, "Okay, okay, this old woman won't talk of dying anymore!" This time, Lu Jeongshan opened his mouth and said with sincerity, "Auntie, you're not old." Ji Shi Ya looked at him with pleased eyes. If only this guy could be her son-in-law, would she die in peace that her lovely daughter won't be mistreated at her husband's home.

Li Yuan cleared his throat as he said, "I hope you two kids would lead the club and your class well! Xiao Shan, Yuri is very ignorant and negligent when it comes to responsibilities so Uncle requests you to help her out in times when she is stuck in problems! Please do me such a huge favor!"

Lu Jeongshan glanced at Li Yuri who was busy feasting and his lips curled upwards unknowingly. He took a deep breath before saying with determination, "Uncle, you don't have to be so humble. I will naturally take care of Yuri." His answer made the whole Li Family touched.

Li Yuri stared at him with eyes full of worship and admiration. 'No wonder, everyone in our school is so infatuated with him even though he is so cold! Even the seniors of our school like him! His popularity is also second to none! Bro Shan is obviously the idol and face of our school!'

As Lu Jeongshan chatted with the Li Family while having dinner, his phone suddenly started ringing. He glanced at it before his pair of dark eyes turned cold as he prepared to leave. When Li Yuri noticed his odd behavior, she fell into deep thought.

'Is it only me or did Bro Shan's eyes turn frosty when he looked at the phone just now?? Something seems fishy..' After Li Yuri came back to her senses, she realized that Lu Jeongshan had already reached the door. She immediately stood up and exclaimed, "Bro Shan, let me send you off!"

Without waiting for him to give any response, she had already arrived beside him. Lu Jeongshan's expression had turned indifferent and cold as usual, like the way he used to look at her at school. This made Li Yuri perplexed. Suddenly, realization hit her like a truck. 'Could it be.. that incident..?'

While they were walking outside, Li Yuri pondered for a bit. 'It could be possible.. After that accident years ago, Bro Shan did distance himself from us and even started to be rude towards us from then onward..'

She found out that they had already reached the Lu Family's car which was parked in front of the house. Lu Jeongshan glanced at her for a while before walking towards the black car silently. Li Yuri suddenly raised her head and called out for him, "Bro Shan!"

Lu Jeongshan looked at her expressionlessly, waiting for her to continue. Li Yuri smiled brightly before waving her hand, "Bye! Have a goodnight!" Dream about me! Of course, she didn't say the last part. Lu Jeongshan nodded his head slightly and muttered, "Goodbye." Then he got into the car and left.

Li Yuri stared at the black car until it disappeared and she turned around to go inside the house. But she hadn't expected, the moment she turned around, she was shocked to see a familiar face. She retreated few steps back as she put her hand over her chest while gaping her mouth. "Are you planning on giving me a heart attack?!"
