Agano did a roundhouse kick, launching four torpedos in front of her. The torpedos propelled themselves to their target. Just her nickname suggests, all four of them miraculously missed their mark, even as the British Destroyer stood still.

A rather fair fight, with luck and experience being the only factors separating the two fleets. Compared to Zuihou's fleet, Yahagi's fleet may be a little less experienced but they make up for it with a little bit of luck and ferocity.

There are no stakes in this. I just need to collect some battle data and submit it to HQ. They want to do some sort of internal audit and make sure the girls are in tip-top shape. A little dumb to check on everyone at this time, but at least I don't have to write up another five hundred page report on each girl. I just need to record them fighting and do a short write up. This whole week was spent on filming the exercises and writing shorts reports. Of course, we would be compensated for the fuel and training ammo spent.

As the destroyers and cruisers fight on the surface, the planes from the carriers engaged each other in the ensuing dogfight.
