Chapter 154 - The Elf (20)

The red eyes were covered in a layer of white film, the horrified stares of the elves reflected in his cold pupils as Chu Yi stretched out his hand into the void beside him, and forcefully pulled. From the void, a heavy bone sickle emerged! The terrifying power caused a few elves to scream, bleeding from their orifices and collapse in an instant.

Elder Ling couldn't stop his body from trembling instinctively. The figure of the other party seemed to have grown enormous, he gasped hard the heavy pressure, like an ant looking up at a high mountain.

Chu Yi's gaze turned slowly traced the entire cave, his figure suddenly flashed–no it wasn't that he disappeared but that his speed was no longer visible to the naked eye!!

The flapping of the powerful black wings gave him an extremely terrifying speed, and the demon swooped down from the sky, targeting the white-robed elf priest that had spilled his blood! The priest also found him, his eyes moved rapidly and he raised his left hand causing several white chains to rise into the sky along with the river's movement!

To be a priest, he must have powers of his own, but he still grossly underestimated the power of this demon. Chu Yi shuttled through the chains like a dark arrow, with unstoppable momentum he smashed through the worldwide of attacks and charged straight to the saint in the sound of tearing wind! The priest's eyes shrunk, he couldn't change the direction of the chain, so he could only wave his hand and fold them inward towards the demon, intending to tear Chu Yi's wings off!

––But that still couldn't stop him!

Between the lightning and flint, the demon wings entwined by the chains instantly turned into shadows and flowed down, there was a flash of demonic ed light and suddenly everything stopped.

The priests' eyes still carried traces of fear and madness and his hands still raised in the sky as if to call upon his God but in place of his heart, a large gaping hole had been punched through, destroying the blood and bones into shattered pieces.

His body slowly fell back, falling off the high platform and disappearing with a flash into the golden river. Just the many sacrifices before.

A flash of cold white light suddenly appeared in the corner of his eyes–

His body flashed and disappeared only narrowly missing the burning flame arrow that had been shot towards him.

He turned his head to look back, in just a few seconds, a bow and arrow surrounded by white bird wings appeared in the hands of Elder Ling. He closed his left eye slightly, the power of light condensed into a second golden arrow, and flew towards Chu Yi! His move successfully woke up the other elves, since they couldn't fight on land they can only shoot it down!

Chu Yi suddenly lifted his head and smiled. That smile was supposed to be beautiful and wanton, but to the ones who saw this smile at this moment, they only felt terrified.

Chu Yi's wings closed inwards, and then with a terrifying high-speed eruption, he cut through the air of light like a flying sword, space like a piece of paper and he smashed through the obstructions before him!

Unexpectedly he didn't immediately attack the others, Chu Yi squinted his eyes, instinctively, he had long been dissatisfied with the intruding presence, the so-called god of creation in the elves mouth did not carry the breath of life and compassion as normal for light gods but carried the putrid and rotten scent of decay that only him, in his current state could sense!

Chu Yi arrived before the first pillar, the blood still stained its walls and the color of death had completely eroded its structure. He glanced towards the sky, the bone sickle appeared in his hand, a crazy light suddenly burst from his eyes!!

Elder Ling who had already had a bad premonition when Chu Yi did not attack him, felt his mind collapse at this moment.

"No!–No!– Stop him! Stop him!" His eyes bulged frantic madness crashed into his mind and a fishy taste rose in the back of his throat!

The sickle fell onto the pillar with an everlasting crash! Hundreds of cracks appeared from where it met the scythe, without being able to resist, the pillar crashed heavily into the ground, half its body sunk into the river!

Behind the raging tide of stone that collapsed, and on the ground, from the position where the black sickle fell, a large number of shadow roses began to breed, and the menacing light collapsed in an instant.

His wings made a whistle-like sharp sound as he rushed into the sky, his wings seemed to cover the sky as he slashed again on the second pillar–

The third, the fourth, the pillars continued to crash into the ground! Before anyone could react, more than half the pillars had fallen under the death scythe.

The Elder Ling suddenly let out a mournful cry, raised the golden dagger and unexpectedly stabbed it into his chest, and began chanting frantically! The cave floor rocked once again and the pillars that Chu Yi had just smashed showed signs of rising again! He couldn't let his life's work be ruined like this on the last step!

At this critical moment, a woman that was supposed to be hypnotized and unaware of the rest of the world, suddenly broke free from the shackles in her mind!

Before anyone could react, the woman in the bright crimson red dress suddenly lunged at the unguarded Elder Ling with ferocious killing intent, pulled the knife from her mouth, and stabbed it fiercely into his back!–

"Argh!–"

Green blood spurted from his body!

The Elder was abruptly interrupted and could no longer speak, the pillars that wanted to rise again lost their last light and turned completely into dead stone. No matter how much he called upon them, the pillars would not respond.

Ning Ning was repelled by a powerful rebounding force, when she crashed into the riverbank, she felt as if all the bones in his body had been shattered to pieces, she spit out a bloody foam mixed with bone and ruptured organs. But the pain in her eyes was mixed with an unyielding light, she wasn't strong enough to kill him but she would never let him succeed!

A cold hand suddenly covered her mouth and pushed a pill into her lips and a heavy voice appeared in her ears, "Swallow it."

She instinctively followed the command and looked up through blurry eyes, Tang Shun still dressed in a similar red dress stared down at her and sighed slightly, "You have done your best."

Her tense heart seemed to have been set on with this affirmation and she sank into a deep coma. Tang Shun looked up at the demon in the sky and remembered the fortune compass that had lost its direction. The future seemed to be covered with a hazy fog.

The Elder suddenly pulled out another arrow and placed it into his bow, pulling the string back tightly. The blood from his wounds coated the arrow's string as it flashed faintly, Chu Yi in the air sensed this and disappeared the moment the arrow was released from its string with a terrifying 'Hong!'.

The arrow cut through the cloud of black and red butterflies that had been left in place, instead of being angry Elder Ling suddenly sneered and waved his hand! The arrow that had passed through the black cloud defied gravity and turned around, finding the exact position of its target!

Chu Yi who had just reappeared unexpectedly felt a cold killing intent aimed at his back, the arrow that he thought he had avoided unexpectedly passed through space and aimed towards him precisely!

"Swooosh!–"

At the last second, Chu Yi managed to narrowly avoid the arrow lodging into his neck, a small tuft of long black hair slowly fell to the ground and the arrow rocked the cave all behind from the force.

He slowly licked the blood from his cheeks, the cold red eyes suddenly ignited into the exciting flames. Chu Yi crossed his sickle, a trail of blood began to spread from the place where he held, following along the cold bone handle and seeping into the blood-red grooves engraved into it. The red threads entangled, and the sickle suddenly hummed as if it had life.

The sky was filled with dark clouds before the arrival of the dark moon, floating in front of the small hole in the ceiling and being bathed in moonlight, the heavy sickle reflected a horrifying bloody light. For the first time, since his transformation he opened his mouth and spoke, the low and hoarse voice was like a ferry of the underworld coming to shuttle dead souls.

"Too slow."

"Faster."

His figure flashed again and appeared into the shrunken pupils of the Elder Ling, with his sickle he slashed towards him!!

A sharp and terrifying compressed sound ripped apart the entire space, and the only few sacrifices sober, Tang Shun and Ning Ning immediately covered their ears trying to resist the terrifying sound. He smelled a heavy scent of blood, probably because the elves were caught off guard, and the blood spilled onto the cave floor. The chanting never stopped and the chains only became tauter and tauter but the air was unprecedentedly silent. Those who survived the terrifying sound, slowly raised their head, only to feel that something was missing.

The elves had... disappeared?

No– they were still there but it was as if time had frozen, they all stood in the same position of raising their sword and rushing towards Chu Yi.

"Ding!–"

The sound of the first weapon falling to the ground, followed by a loud thump of an elf's body. Then one by one, the elves fell to the floor in bloody heaps. Most of them were not even able to avoid the scythe and were directly killed by sliced in half by the sickle, but due to the extreme speed of death, they had maintained the motion they had seconds before losing their life.

What shocked them, even more, was what they saw n the scene in front of him——the fire and water were still whistling from both sides, but right in front of them, the cave had been directly split by his scythe, revealing the scene outside!!

The sudden sound of horses clomping through the stone walls was particularly abrupt and terrifying.

Holding his two hands pierced by a scythe, the Elder Ling turned around slowly.

The next second, his pupil hidden under the messy hair suddenly dilated. A man that could only appear in his nightmare suddenly appeared before him. He saw a tall and burly figure coming out of the bright fire under the moonlight.

That person was like a thousand horses and soldiers running forward on the earth.

Nothing could beat such momentum.

The dark horse raised its hoofs to the sky, shook its majestic head, and made a high-pitched neigh across the night sky, like a dragon announcing its presence.

The long silver hair of the tall elf riding the horse was oppressive in the ominous night, like a dark ghost coming for revenge.

His burning green eyes were like cold flames, with terrifying oppression, he looked down on the maniac and frantic atmosphere under the horse and slowly turned his head to the demon with blood-stained hands standing by the side of the river.

The remaining elves who saw this man were directly shaking in fear. The devil–the devil was here!–

No one saw it, but Elder Ling's hands hidden behind his back were indeed shaking uncontrollably.

Before this man riding a horse in front of him—

Before the elf who walked through a sea of flames—

As a towering high mountain stands between heaven and earth, no one can shake it.

The protector of the guardian tree.

Ruler of the Fan Clan.

And his brother.

Fan Ling!

At this moment, there was a loud snap, it was the sound of chains being unable to take the force anymore and shattering!
