Chapter 133 - The Letter (3)

The blush receded quickly, and Ruezhen's program seemed to resume responding as it continued to move, letting go of the slender ankle. The steam in the bath curled up, the blurred light in the air was reflected on translucent agate stone.

Ruezhen straightened up, went to the table where the items were placed, and brought the bottle of rose essential oil. He brought it with him, along with a small white bath towel. Chu Yi narrowed his eyes slightly, watching a cold blue light flashing in the robot's electronic eyes.

Under his curious gaze, Ruezhen hesitantly held the towel in one hand before he knelt and put the bath towel over his hips and legs, covering the entire scenery. Chu Yi raised his eyebrows slightly and suddenly gave a low laugh, resting his head on his arm, speaking hoarsely. "How stupid."

Ruezhen was still silent as if the hotel had not installed any language programs for him that would be able to deal with a client like Chu Yi. It knelt on the floor of the bath like a silent guard.

The rose essential oil was opened, and the fragrant aroma diffused in the air. The robot's cold palm stroked Chu Yi's back. Although it was icy cold, the stimulation of the oil and his skin only made him feel scorching hot. Chu Yi's cheeks were a little rosy, and his red eyes blurred with a mist.

His body slowly relaxed under the slowly billowing mist.

He yawned again, letting out a soft sigh of heat, half-closing his eyes wearily. Rose essential oil was poured onto his back. The Ice-cold hands, the fragrant aroma. Although the robot worked in a massage shop, Ruezhen's hands weren't as soft as humans.

Even with the lubrication of rose oil, the unskilled hands didn't feel too comfortable when pressed on the back. "You don't have enough strength." Chu Yi was a little picky. "Why are you so weak. Press a little harder. Use more force." It seemed that when facing the robot, Chu Yi was like a lazy and picky Persian cat.

Ruezhen knelt on one knee and looked at the white back of the man in front of him. He didn't know if it was an illusion but every time its hands would rub against the slender waist, the whole person would tremble imperceptibly. It pushed the urge to be bad down and continued to massage Chu Yi.

"Go a little deeper " Chu Yi groaned and commanded lazily, "Don't others even use their elbows when massaging? Why do you seem to be so afraid of using any strength."

Ruezhen was silent for a moment, its body leaned forward slightly, and the two slender robotic arms pressed against the man's back. Its eyes were unconsciously attracted to the snow-white slender neck. From this angle, one could see a small dark red mole in the middle of the opponent's nape. It's was hardly noticeable, but the bright red color was dazzling.

It made people want to take a bite and taste the roses on him.

Ruezhen stared at the mole for a while and paused with its elbow still on the owner's back. Soon enough, Chu Yi bent his knee and kicked him again, "Come on." To further the command, it needs to get very close. The kick was sent right on the robot's crotch.

The robot's program almost became unresponsive. It didn't look at the red mole anymore, and could only lower its head to concentrate on giving the person in front of him a silent massage. Although the movements were not very skilled, at least he comforted this arrogant cat that would stretch out its claws and scratch people.

Chu Yi turned lazily for a moment before remembering something. In his hand, a strange letter appeared. Lifting his eyes slightly, his lips curled up. The Conductors letter had been sitting in his storage space gathering dust for a long time. He was unwilling to open it at first mainly because of the anger in his heart that he couldn't put down but since he was already here, he might as well see what that man had left him.

He didn't notice that from behind him, Ruezhen's breathing suddenly grew heavier.

He tore the envelope slowly, eyes filling with anticipation, and turned it over to spill the contents into his hands.

"....?"

To his surprise, it was a red insignia filled with strange black lines. The moment his eyes landed on the insignia, a burning pain suddenly erupted in his head! The insignia fell from his fingers and hit the floor, a pained grimace appearing on his face. It was almost as if something was being forcefully stuffed in his brain. Blurry and distorted memories appeared in his mind and slashed across his brain like sharp cuts. Ruezhen felt the man beneath his hands groan weakly and he looked down, only to be surprised at the pale and bloodless face that came into view.

Chu Yi didn't have to care about teasing the robot as he tried to shift through the pain and make sense of the images inside his head.

The dark red blood moon hung high.

It was as if he had woken up as another soul. In the absolute darkness, the god standing in front of the altar was hidden in the shadows, and only the pale lower jaw could be faintly seen under the dark hood. A hand engraved with black runes touched the center of his eyebrows, leaving a red mark. Tingling and burning sensations came from the other's fingertips.

The contract is made.

The other party completely imprinted his breath into his soul. That powerful aura made him instinctively tremble and fear. He couldn't withstand his power, hands reached out and rescued him from the altar, and clothed his naked body with new garbs.

Pure Scarlet Robes.

And to him, he commanded he will fulfill the contract, become a believer under the other party's throne, and as the gatekeeper of the paradise, he will guard the other party's gate for a hundred years. The god picked him up from the crowd of dark red roses. The soul body that has just woken up from death is soft and weak, and he could only snuggle in the other's arms.

There was an aura of perpetual tranquility on the other side. Maybe because of the contract, when the initial terror subsided, the other's embrace made him feel a little attached. The other party carried him through the eternally silent night of the abyss and went to the temple above the floating sky. Ankiron bowed his head to welcome the return of the gods. The dark sanctuary bell rang. He said: "You will be baptized here." He was put into the blood-colored holy pool, and the boiling pool water soaked him, dyed his soul bright red, and washed away all the characteristics that once belonged to human beings in him.

But then the gods fell.

And naturally, the heavens were burnt.

Before he could understand the images in his head, the memories suddenly receded like a falling tide. No matter how he tried to recall, Chu Yi could not remember the details of what he had just seen.

The only thing that was deeply imprinted on him was a dark red rune.

Chu Yi's eyes snapped open and his chest heaved heavily, his body that had previously been relaxed tensed like an arrow that had been stretched too far. His eyes unconsciously fell on the insignia and a strange light appeared in his eyes. After a moment of thought, he picked it up again.

The pain did not reappear again and this time he managed to observe the insignia closer. The black lines wound and spun around a red sun. Finally the words Chu Yi had been engraved into the bottom of the sun and with squinted eyes, he managed to make out another word.

Paradise.

He turned it around, an image was burnt into his retina. The deadly monster in a black priest's robe stood in the bloody sea of corpses. Countless thorns spread out from behind him, covering the entire black city, wrapping countless monsters into corpses and broken bones to swallow and absorb, while it was bending over to touch a small white flower on the ground.

Darkness and Purity intertwined.

The red eyes narrowed dangerously at the thing in his eyes, unable to stop the bouts of suspicion and vigilance that sprouted in his heart. Everything was too strange, what connection did he have with this place and why couldn't he remember. Everything seemed to have been shrouded in darkness and no matter how frantically he searched he could not find the answers he was hoping for.

Chu Yi suddenly shuddered, the beautiful butterfly bones bulging out like a startled cat, the scent of rose essential in the air grew deeper and the wet and slick oil was poured onto his back. He turned his back,

The cold lips of Ruezhen were pursed into a straight line, he didn't say anything to him but somehow Chu Yi could sense a trace of dissatisfaction from the indifferent robot.

The worries from before were pushed back down and Chu Yi couldn't help but laugh. After continuing to enjoy the warm massage for a few more minutes, Chu Yi finally had enough.

Chu Yi wore a white bathrobe with wet hair draped behind him and sat on the bench with Rue Zhen towering over him.

The bathrobe was not very long, it only reached the end of his knee, and one could see the slender snow-white calf of the other party.

Chu Yi grinned lazily, red eyes drooping like a satisfied cat. The robot's slender five fingers interspersed into his hair, massaged into the scalp with mechanical joints, and the warm overhead light slowly infiltrated along with the hot wind, Chu Yi felt an unprecedented kind of peace.

Looking up at the robot standing over him, Chu Yi suddenly asked an absurd question, "Ruezhen...can you be redeemed?"

The robot paused, in his database being redeemed was the same thing as being taken home by the client. The indifferent eyes dropped for a second before looking up to gaze deeply at Chu Yi, "There is no information in the system that indicates as such."

"What a pity. Then I can only say goodbye here."

Chu Yi was just asking casually in any case and wasn't too disappointed. By the time he had dressed and left the building, it was already night. The streets of the city were filled with a disk orange glow that sought but failed to chase away the heavy darkness.

When he reached back to his house, Chu Yi stopped before his feet could step past the threshold. On his doorstep was a bold and bright invitation.

The Black Cities Annual Action invites Player Chu Yi to attend: The Death Store,
