Chapter 125 - The Institute (65)

The cold and callous face that they were used to, twisted with a frenzied and greedy hunger, her clawed hands elongated like pulled taffy, the red heels bursting from the seams, as ugly black claws grew from her feet, cracking the floorboards beneath her as she barreled towards them like a heavy bull!

Instantly a sour and rancid smell of minced meat stung their senses, as if they had been thrown deep into a mass grave, the wretched stench felt like a hard lump being forced into their throats.

The horrifying stench seemed to have hallucinogenic properties and one by one the players sunk into a deep trance.

In an instant, a gentle vision suddenly appeared in front of Chu Yi's eyes, as if he was surrounded by caring arms with a soft warmth, sinking into a sticky quagmire unable to extricate himself, his heart banged in chest painfully and his body erupted into anticipating goosebumps uncontrollably.

The wind roared and crashed around them, the nurses feet sent harsh shockwaves that shook the entire room as the nurse unexpectedly charged towards Chu Yi!

His eyes were blurred slightly as if in a trance, strong hunger seemed to leak into nurses bulging eyes, as of waiting for something, but deep in the scarlet eyes, Chu Yi's eyes were as calm as a deep lake, glinting with a hidden dangerous light. The nurses distorted figure reflected terrifyingly into his pupils, his body still stood into a daze until the rancid breath was right above him, red lips curled into a sneer, his hands suddenly he swept the sword in his hands upwards!

The blade seemed to hit have hard wall and the hilt shook in his hands, although it hit the target, the force of the recoil made Chu Yi stagger back a few steps before he could stand firm.

His slanted eyes furrowed slightly,

What a powerful force!

The nurses body suddenly bulged with the screeching sound of muscles and bones rubbing and growing, together sounded. In just a minute the monster had swelled in size instantly, like a rolling calf, it's red eyes turned crazily and with a heavy roar, it rushed towards him. The lips on its face slowly tearing at the corner to reveal the squirming flesh of her cheekbones..The sharp claws dug deep into the stone wall, as easy as cutting tofu with a knife.

The monsters heavy claws came swiping down onto his head!

Whoosh–

Chu Yi could only hear the sound of his heavy breathing. His heartbeat was beating slower, but it felt denser. It was like smashing the ball through a hole. Scarlet blood splattered everywhere in front of him, and his desire to tyrannize and slaughter remained unabated. It swept his mind like a fierce wind, trying to annihilate everything.

Ha–– Hoo––

A violent desire to kill was born from nowhere and filled his body, and Wei Xun was surging with strength. He couldn't wait to fight and vent out his killing desire until he annihilated everything!

"Hei––!"

"Hei, hei, hei ?–– !!"

The piercing roars of the nurse monster echoed one after the other, causing Chu Yi to feel a rumble in his ears. A ferocious crimson light flashed through the monsters scarlet eyes.

He dodged again and abruptly pressed down the tyranny in his heart.

Not yet.

Chu Yi suddenly grinned, and lifted his fingers, placing them softly in front of his lips. Against the bright red lips, the white finger seemed even more coquettish and spoiled.

The fragrance of roses became voilent and heavy, as if something was about to break free from its reigns.

"Will you be quiet for me?" His head tilted cutely, "I have a little friend who wants to come out and play."

From behind him countless dark green vines rose up, casting a dark shadow on Chu Yi's face, sucking away all light, the red eyes shining fiercely. Dotted with the blooming red roses, the vines surged forward like sharp tentacles!

No longer thin and fragile in Chu Yi's impression, the vines were almost as thick as a baby's arm. From emerald green to dark green and fluorescent green that almost dripped ink, emitting an ominous light in the dark night.

The thick ink snakes waving in the air were also decorated with sharp thorns, and the tips were faintly red. Carrying with a fishy smell, interweaved with the intoxicating fragrance of vibrant roses. The number of vines was still increasing, as if it wanted to cover the heavens and the earth, and the entire room was almost filled by such a huge number of dark green vines.

The fragrance of roses corroded everything, like a dark sweet rot.

Chu Yi's eyes glinted brightly with mirth and from his lips, a faint chuckle emerged. The dark hair that scattered around his face swayed to side as he shook his head with a disdainful tut. The pale fingers gently flicked at the struggling nurse before him.

Like a soft feather, his voice came out low and hoarse, "Why doesn't your master stop playing these games."

His smile fell, "I'm getting bored."

The nurse naturally wouldn't reply, her mind had Ling been corroded animalistic greed and instinct, she just roared and cried shrilly in the sharp thorny cage that imprisoned her.

The roses surged in tandem with his words.

Quickly the nurse monster was wrapped into a dark thorny ball, a vague shaking and screeching coming from inside. The players shouts as they struggled against the alienated players, the harsh smell of smoke and blood and the cries of the dead.

Chu Yi breathed in deeply, like the most beautiful flower being nurtured in the filthiest soils.

The vines that entangled the monsters were different from the fierce and vigorous vines before, as if they had exhausted nutrients and vitality and was only left with a shriveled base, the green color faded now showing a dry, black or even grey depressing monotone.

Not like vines, but more like thorns withered and lifeless.

He raised an eyebrow but didn't think much–probably just need some blood.

Because he had been standing on one side of the vine net just now, Chu Yi couldn't see the condition of the other end of the vine -- in fact? On the other side of the vines, in addition to the dry and brown vines, there was a small black flower that sat quietly at the base of the bud.

Maybe it wasn't a black rose before, maybe it was the same as the other red roses on the vines, but now, it was already showing a withered state, the petals drooping down in decay, and there is no sign of vitality.

Just like the dead.

Red eyes turned slightly, an intense gaze piercing into his back. Mu Fang was standing in the corner of the room, untouched, like an aloof immortal, watching the struggles of ants indifferently. In his hands he tightly grasped something, the faintly shining object glowed with an ominous green light.

The alienated players seemed to naturally avoid his vicinity.

Their eyes locked together and slowly Chu Yi raised a hand, the beautiful face breaking out into a brilliant smile. Mu Fang's mind couldn't help but blank and his eyes unconsciously followed the path of the slender arm.

A pale middle finger raised, the light red powder at the joints was swayed softly in the air like a cloud dancing. His mind took a moment to register the meaning of the gesture and almost instantly his faced distorted in anger.

Chu Yi laughed gently and turned back to the thorny ball, his smile dropped.

A sticky and red mucus was slowly speeding from the cracks between the thorns and instead of weakening the shaking in the ball only got bigger and bigger!

He glanced behind the shaking ball, eyes locking with Tang Shun's.

He needed to leave.

With a harsh screech, the vine ball split in two, splashes of mucus and blood spilt everywhere and from it like a gigantic parasite, a wet and slime covered thing without skin came crawling out.

Dark eyes narrowed dangerously, disgust bleeding into his his stare.

The monster shook itself slightly on four legs, and released a frantic roar. The dark sunken hole in its flesh locked onto his and cried even louder!

Chu Yi could feel the tremors in the ground becoming harsher–

The claws and teeth of the lizard were equally sharp, and piercing the flesh was as easy as stabbing tofu, like a blood-red lizard that has peeled off its skin, it quickly skittered onto the wall high above.

The monster seemed to be shrouded in gloomy shadows in the darkness, only the bloody eyes of the nurse, cold and greedy hung above.

The monster suddenly dropped from the ceiling and smashed onto him, Chu Yi's body tensed in preparation but this time he did something unexpected. Borrowing the residual force of the blow, Chu Yi actually forced himself backwards, his waist bending powerfully, as he grabbed onto table and flew to the open door!

The creature momentarily blanked.

In fact, Chu Yi had no intention of fighting here, in the limited time frame they must complete the final goal, his hands clenched the black hard drive in his hand as he nimbly leaped across the cracked tiles and caught up to Tang Shun and Chao Bin already standing there!

Without giving anyone time to react, the trio ran into the dark corridor.

"Hei—!"

The lizard released an angry roar, after discovering that the hallucinations were useless to Chu Yi, it started the most common and savage attack, but who would have expected that this man didn't play according to routine and was now escaping in the middle of the fight—

The monster immediately fell into an angry frenzy, eyes going completely red as it smashed into the remaining players!

The player's body couldn't resist the huge force of the nurse monster at all. They tried to attack it with dangers and swords, but the sharp and frantic attacks couldn't cut through the hard skin of the monsters, as if it's flesh was made out of steel!

"Bang!—"

The yells and shouts of terror and pain cascaded into a horrifying symphony of death.

Ling Ke spat out a mouthful of blood in despair, the furious monster repeatedly hit him, flinging him into the wall and throwing him into the ground. His organs felt as if they had been shaken out of place and he could tell that he had suffered internal injuries. The monsters fist came smashing down on his chest, the dark blood overflowing from his lips!

Was he going to die here–

The shadow of death shrouded him coldly, and the scarlet body full of fierce and violent force raised its claws about to plunge him into the abyss. The broken holes on its face were like two soulless lamps and the dim light filled with hunger stared at Ling Ke, like a cat playing with a mouse.

Although its first prey had escaped, it could still settle its heart with the fresh meat in front of it. At this critical moment, the monster suddenly smelled a familiar and alluring smell.

Letting go of the food in it's hand, the ugly lizard rushed towards the piece of source of the tantalizing that had been thrown to the other side.

Ling Ke glanced incredulously at the three standing outside the threshold.

Chu Yi took a deep breath slowly, watching the player scrambled up and spit out a stale breath. The dry and cold air, filled with a strong smell of rust, slashed through his throat like a soft knife, and poured into his chest like smoke, the slight pain brought him an amazing sense of pleasure. The blood dripped in a warm bloody river from his translucent fingertips to the floor.

The players would prove useful later.

While the lizard thing chased after the piece of cloth obsessively, Chu Yi's fingers tightened around the dagger greedily absorbing the warmth.

His body was shaken by the monsters tossing, and Chu Yu could only felt a cold chill in his chest, and it became difficult to breathe. His red eyes suddenly narrowed tightly, and his bloody fingertips raised softly to touch his forehead.

It's itchy, from his fingers he could feel a bulging horn growing outwards, even so his whole body only felt as if he was being thrown into a fire pit. The pale pink fingers are like claws sharp, the forehead is as tender as bamboo shoots, and the scarlet pupils are blazing and excited. Chu Yi grinned and laughed softly, like a demon who finally climbed out of the abyss and descended into the world.

Tang Shun beside him suddenly stiffened, eyes turning into a dangerous black pool, a dark heat rose rapidly in his lower abdomen and his senses felt as if they were on fire!

Chu Yi, sensed the sudden changes, raised an eyebrow and seemed to remember something. His eyes squinted and the gaze he used to look at Chao Bin held an extra touch of pity.

Twisting the hard drive between long fingers, he turned to the heavy and bottomless darkness that swallowed the corridor.

"Let's go."
