Chapter 51 - Doll House(28)

"AH AH AH AH!"

"It hurts! It hurts!"

Beside him, Bu Hua had already turned mad from pain, screaming in a distorted howl

The others weren't much better, muffled groans and supressed screams created a symphony of madness and fear.

Admist the painful cries of the players, the voice of the Madam only grew more and more crazed, reverent, the words becoming unintelligible, eventually become hoarse heretical screeching!

"What are we going to do!" Shi Xiadong forced out through gritted teeth.

They couldn't just sit here, wiping for death, even if the chances were slim.

Unconsciously eyes turned towards Chu Yi.

Shi Xiaodong's eyes twitched looking at the almost deranged smile on Chu Yi's beautiful face.

It was like looking at a hungry beast, staring at its prey before the hunt begins.

Shi Xiadong actually hesitated to call out his name, nevertheless nothing was more important than life at this point.

"What do you think we should do now"

Chu Yi titled his head towards the remaining players slightly, a playful smile slowly emerging onto his bloody lips, he opened his mouth, briefly revealing the soft, red tongue shyly hiding behind white teeth, before spitting out callously,

"Burn it"

"Right I also think we shou- wait what?"

Chu Yi didn't have to time nor the mood to explain, in his right hand appeared a queen of hearts, it lay there glinting with a bloody depraved light on his snow-white palms, the bloody glow shadowed his hand, slowly climbing up his body little by little, swaying by the candlelight, the red , like a greedy gaze, filthy and lustful, filled with an inexplicable gorgeous color.

Red as a cinnabar mole, unreasonably printed on the top of that persons heart.

The systems voice sounded in Chu Yi's ears

[Would you like to activate the (Conductors Playing Card) and summon the conductor ?]

[Yes.]

[The conductor (S-Level NPC) will be summoned to the (Doll Houese Copy). Card will expire in 10 minutes.]

[The conductor had been summoned. Please prepare]

Chu Yi felt a cool rush swarm over him quickly, then a familiar body, draped itself around him languidly.

"Missed me so soon?"

The conductor lazily buried himself into the side of Chu Yis pale neck, and took a deep long, breath.

"You smell so fragrant my dear...."

If Chu Yi could move, he would have slapped Qiaxi in the face.

"Stop messing around and set this place on fire"

"Such an extravagant request my dear, but don't you think it'll be too cruel an act to set this wonderful castle on fire."

"Think about the children..."

Chu Yi sneered.

"You're the last one to talk"

The conductor chuckled, a bloody grin dazzling his deadly face.

"Touchè. As you please.....my dear"

The Conductor stood up leisurely, he looked at the frantic Madam with a plain stare.

Boring.

"Ah! my dear has such food taste, it'd all look better brunt to the ground."

From all around him, dark shadows surged up, like a dark disease, infesting all lives! tentacled limbs invaded everyone's sight!

The shadows reached into every crack and crevice of the castle, corrupting the darkness, tearing apart the castle!

In the midst of the darkness, the conductor dressed in a bloody red suit, slowly raised a slender hand.

Snap-

The castle were set ablaze!

Chu Yi felt the invisible shackles around him lift quietly,

Slowly standing up from the wooden chair, he watched the world burn around him in awe, morbid excitement and fun hidden behind those usury indifferent orbs.

"Do you like it my dear "

Chu Yi took deep breath, reveling in the burnt fumes mixed with screams of horror.

"I love it."

The castle was like a piece of paper that had been set on fire.

It spread rapidly and large burnt holes appeared on the walls.

It was like waking up from a cruel fantasy.

The conductor strolled slowly towards Chu Yi, the shadows at his feet tinged in a blood red.

He stood before him, placing jointed hands on Chu Yis cheeks.

Neither of them said a word, staring into similarly dark eyes of madness as the world collapsed at their feet.

Never looking away from his eyes, the conductor dropped his head and under the blessing of death, kissed his rose.

His rose.

It was only a chaste kiss and yet it seemed to seal the most sacred of vows.

Chu Yi didn't move, only silently watching the man before him.

The conductor rose once again, in the fiery glow of the blaze, his red suit was like a scarlet moon in the dark sky, bloody, dangerous and yet deadly seductive

"I have to go now my dear, unfortunately our brief meeting has come to an end. But we will surely meet again."

He smiled.

A happy yet bloody grin and under Chu Yi's silent stare, disintegrated into spots of dark matter, slowly falling onto the broken floor and disappearing into the unknown realms.

Chu Yi stared at the place where he disappeared without any movement for a long time, it wasn't until an anxious Lui Quishi grabbed onto his hand and yanked him in a direction out of the hall, did the brewing emotions in his eyes settle down.

Behind them, the the Madam, the Butler, An Xuefeng, Peng Qi and Xiong Qi, all slowly turned towards the fleeing backs of the players, heads turning like empty mechanical toys

Even if they're skin fell of the bone like melted wax in the harsh heat, sizzling and burning, revealing the white skeleton underneath, they still showed that crazed happy smile.

The players didn't dare to turn back.

"We need to leave quickly, we have to get to find a way to end this copy as soon as possible!"

"What should we do now!"

"Go to the servants quarters!" Shi Xiadong and Chu Yi yelled simultaneously

Shi Xiaodong glanced at Chu Yi with approval and quickly led the players in that direction.

The only other players left, Bu Hua, Zhong Feng and Lui Quishi were confused but didn't miss a beat in following orders.

They ran along the slowly collapsing halls, towards the most inconspicuous room in the castle.

The previous servants quarters was nothing more than large room in the small corner of the second floor.

There was nothing that seperated it from the other rooms in the house other than having 8 stacked in one room.

But that was typical of the usual servants quarters back then.

Therefore it was mostly overlooked by the players

However the very beginning the systemhad hinted at a very vital clue.

The butlers constant abuse and threats only served to remind them of one thing.

The previous servants in the castle had stolen something very, very important from the Madam.
